Sprint releases HTC One Android 4.4.2 update

One day after HTC’s self-imposed deadline for the release, the Android 4.4.2 update for the HTC One is released to Sprint users in the US. There were a lot of disappointed HTC One users when the company announced that they would not meet the 90 days deadline, Sprint broke the ice and it would be no surprise if T-Mobile, AT&T and Verizon release the update in the following days too.

The OTA update brings NFC Tap & Pay, cloud printing and Bluetooth profiles. HTC Sense is also updated to 5.5 with an updated BlinkFeed, Video Highlights, camera performance and hundreds of emoji for the stock HTC keyboard.

If you have not received a notification yet, go to Settings > About Phone > Software Update > Check Now and update your HTC One.
