Knockr (Beta)

Installed on Galaxy Tab 3 and it won't let me in even when I put in the right knock pattern! Can't even use my tablet now! WTF??? How do I get this off my tablet now?????? Doesn't work on Galaxy S3. Just keeps saying 'Invalid Knock'

Didn't find anything written on the description! Still gave it a 1 coz I can't give a 0 o rminus. Shall be happy to change the ratings if someone walks me through. Go to Security Settings and uncheck device administrator for Knockr before you can uninstall this app

Just installed this on my phone running Android 4.4.2. Overkill for my needs. All I was looking for was a simple app to wake my phone without using the power button. However, the fact that this app disables the power button (for power on only) is a bit of a problem for me. I've tried numerous apps that use the proximity sensor and they all had unacceptable battery drain. I'm hoping this app will not suffer that same problem. Unfortunately, it looks like this app DOES use the proximity sensor which, in turn, has unacceptable battery drain.

It clearly states that if you double tap it will wake up (light up) the screen... but no it ends up locking the device as a lock or key code...

Doesn't work. As a bonus it managed to overlay itself on top of every other app. Rebooting didn't help and until I can find a fix my brand new device is a useless brick.

Unless your hardware support double tap feature in which case u won't need this app, all such apps keep screen awake thus heavy battery drain. I kept fully charged phone in airplane mode after 8 hrs of sleep the battery was 42% in the morning.

I am really loving this app, and I know it's still in beta status, but could you please fix the error when it simply blocks the notification LED while the screen is locked. The problem occured on a Note 3 running Lollipop.

This application's process sometimes get killed so I must open the app again to get it start.. please fix this problem dear developer.. this app is doing great btw..

Useless. You have to press power button first too launch app

It would be better if the light sensor turned off Because i use Twilight and at night time the screen is visible red and glows with variable lighting. Please give option to set custom gestures like if i draw C Camera should open and if i draw F Facebook it should open.

Works fine on my phone. Not sure about the battery usage though. But it does work without any issues.

It's eh it doesn't register the code when the phone is off, it doesnt show the time or anything and its kind of scary thinking this all might lock me out of my own phone.

Problem with always on screen . S7 edge device. Always on screen disapear after 0.5 second screen off turn to black screen.

Its run perfect on my note 3..but only notification led indicator will not work during screen off..so its true the phone still on but only screen is black display.sure battery eating

Double tap screen on and all those are working good but if the home button (virtual) is pressed then also the screen turns on please make such that only double tap work.

Digitiser stays on. Buggy pause after lock. Isn't even active half the time. Soo many problems don't bother.

Since my power button doesnt work this is what I use to unlock my screen!

I use this on my fonepad fe171cg and it worked fine. Improve it more, and i'm ready to pay for the premium version.

I turned on my screen, then app is activated, its okay, but... It isn:t unlockable becouse do nothing at all... Only black screen... Finally, the best part how to unlock is!!!!! PRESS THE HOME BUTTON! Wtf?! Should be really stupid who can't unlock this lock thingy app at first try... What a suck.

So I activate my phone using knockr. I try to unlock it with no success, try to launch an app that i previously configured with no success. Luckily I was able to unlock the phone eventually

App is good but it's still in Beta condition.Means the developer is still working on it to improve it.Need more Device compability.

A good performance though being in beta. Suggestions: 1. User should be able to set wherein actually the screen will be switched off 2. Screen off during night 3.usable as Tasker plugin 4. Battery saver mode where blank screen is on only when there is a new notification

I like it because I have a cheap phone and I didn't expected it to work, but it's working

Doesn't double tap to unlock, does double tap to open the knock unlock screen, hope they can fix this as i want plain double tap to unlock (no knock code required)

"Quick access to certain apps with Gestures", works perfectly in my phone... The thing about "screen on" feature is this app makes my screen never really goes off, only emitting black color on the screen. I was looking for this app in order to save my power button from being pressed too much, but this app drains my battery instead.

Its good enough app but when its turn on the notification light dosent work on my Galaxy s5, please slove this bug

Always wanted double tap screen app which I had in my htcm8 and this app provides much more options which are not available in high end fones

People rating it under 5 just don't know how to use this application.

It only works when you mannually press power button to lock the device. It does not work when device is automatically locked. Need improvements.

Its an awesome application. I like it to install my handset. It works greatly. I suggest you to install this apps. It help to avoid the continuous use of my power button

Works fine if you deactivate your passcode. Also, it does not lock your phone rather makes it black (in my case). This drains your phone battery a lot faster.

The app actually makes me easier to use my phone. But it doesn't always work. It's still in a realiable level but not that Nokia or LG's level.
