Why does this wallpaper need so many permissions? There are similar snowfall live wallpapers that don't need any permissions at all…

This installs and opens for me. However, the wallpaper doesn't look anything like the images provided on the app's page. Instead, you get really cheap looking, poor quality backgrounds with decent looking snowflakes. The sad part is that I used to have this app back when the wallpaper was actually the image shown and it was beautiful. It's such a shame.
