Night Mode Enabler

Edit: forgot to add -if your using a turbo 2 you have to click the actual "on" text, not the toggle. And then it will turn night mode on. Hey thanks! Was bummed that the turbo 2 was shafted for night mode with nougat but now I have it :) I usually use twilight but it filters the blacks too making it hard to read. Thanks for enabling this for us! Hope Google adds it to the main Android 7 soon

Automatic mode not working on a Moto G4 Plus on latest update as of this review, but at least it works manually, the big plus being there's no software overlay on the screen preventing certain secure actions from working. Easy 5 stars if the auto mode works properly. Happy to provide more info on request for debugging as needed.

I was able to get this working after 1. resetting quick toggles (click edit, click 3 dots, select reset) and 2. clicking the 'On' text in night mode enabler to the left of the slider switch, the On slider itself did not work.

Easy to enable night mode on nexus 6 from quick pull down. However I am rooted and using pure nexus on nexus 6. Are the people giving this poor ratings even reading the instructions? I'm on PN 7.0 2nd version. Ridiculously easy no reboot required. Install night mode enabler pull down the quick pull down edit and add the night mode button couldn't be simpler.

My configurations gear icon has changed from ⚙️, to ⚙️

Doesn't work on Galaxy tab S2 running nougat. Gave it two stars cause i don't know how good it is but by reading other reviews it sounds like it is, I'm sure it's a Samsung TouchWiz problem... Would like to try the app if that gets fixed.

Works great on the partners Moto G4 but on my G5 it doesn't seem to do anything. It switches on and I get the toggle in my drawer but it appears to have no effect. Please fix (or suggest a work around) as I love to read at night and this would have been perfect.

Using this app i tried much but could not do enable night mode. I didn't find shortcut in quick settings. Pls review

Seriously? Another greedy dev. You are taking money for a simple shortcut. Especially if you look at real apps that actually do something like Twilight which don't have any In-apps it's funny to call this 'thing' an app in the first place.Donation for what? All the 5 mins you spent exporting in Android Studio :D

Dear developer, thank you!! Native Android night mode is better then using 3rd party apps that try using color filters do "the same", but they are doing it incorrectly. Google!! This feature of Android should not be hidden, I can't believe it is. It's s very useful feature.

Not working in moto g4 plus. I can't able to see then button. Can u pls give more explanation.

Edit: automatic turning on stopped working on Sony Xperia Z5 Compact Android 7.0 At the beginning it is slightly difficult to figure out how to use the toggles but once you manage to set it up it works very well. The toggle 'adjust brightness' doesn't change anything for me. Big plus fit not having to turn it off to change permissions and for covering the navigation bar. Update: recently it goes crazy. For example it changes hue depending on the flight mode being enabled.

From the UI I am not able to control the tint level. Otherwise it's a simple and useful app till Google wakes up from their Google slumber.

I'm one of those OCD guys that like a clean app drawer. If you make it a 99 cent in app purchase to remove the icon from the drawer (since it's now in my quick toggles) I'd jump all over that.

Netflix displays no image with this app turned on. One must turn it off to watch.

Works awesome, after you get it to work. Had to toggle the on/off and enable automatically sliders until it turned on once to get the quick tile to show up. I did what the video showed, but the tile didn't show up until I did this.

Loved this app but I did the update last night and now it doesn't work. The option has disappeared from the System UI Tuner!

Even turning this off, my screen is still red. Uninstall it... and it's still red! Garbage. Don't install this! I better not have to wipe my device to get back to a normal display!

Doesn't work with Moto G5. I get the night mode toggle in the notification shade, but activating it does nothing, neither does it work directly activating in settings, or by tapping 'on' instead of the toggle.

I did all thats mentioned in your description, read articles, saw YouTube videos, i still.cant seem to get the required night mode. I get tbe togglr, but it just doesn't work!! i habe tried everything ...i am using moto. play android 7.0

Took a bit of figuring out, but as soon as you open the app, you have to turn Night Mode on (make sure you've reset your tile settings). I can now see if I sleep better with this.

Doesn't work on moto g5. After enabling NM through the app, it just doesn't work even though the feature is on. You get an icon to your quick settings , but toggling it does not turn on the NM .

Must then open app to enable. Works well after getting it configured, but auto mode does not work.

Does nothing on my phone. Tried everything. Using Nougat 7.0 but this app is fckng dumb. It just enabled a filter toggle but it does nothing.

Night mode is officially killed in 7.1.1 After upgrade the feature is not there anymore. Beware with upgrading to 7.1.1

The app does what it's supposed to, a simple link to the settings menu to active night mode. The weirdest part that took some time to discover is that in the settings menu, you don't tap the toggle switch next to the word on, you literally tap the word "ON". (This is the only way to enable the feature)

Um, I don't have any options along the bottom of the app except asking to donate money. Nothing in notifications pulldown settings to activate this either. Do I have to "donate" money to get this thing to work?

Unfortunately it does not work on my phone. The toggle doesn't seem to appear, and once I leave the app itself it turns off automatically. (when I reopen it it'll be off by default so that's my guess on auto switching off itself)

sad that an app is needed to unlock this feature... only to have it taken away

Great app! Just what I needed, however somethings are missing. It would nice to see, adjustable tinting like brighter, more red, etc., and it would also nice to see an automatic timer, it did once however I don't know how to get get it back and change times

Only screen dimmer app with nougat tiles. Works ok. Few suggestions 1. Show app icon on status bar when night mode is enabled and 2. Have options to tweak brightness and yellow light levels. The current auto dimmer levels are very low

Not working at all in Moto Z play. Android 7.0 updated. Nothing happens when i on the enable night mode option... It remains as it is, like its now.

Help me out and I'll edit my review? What about us people who have a Samsung galaxy s8 where they disabled the system ui tuner. Any workaround?

Yaay...! Worked on my Moto g5 Plus...!! Although the toggle sometimes seemed to work opposite way... Anyway... Thoughtfully simple and silly app that is a useful tool....

Without system UI tuner, because lame HTC.

Failed to enable system ui tuner on my samsung tab s2. My guess is that samsung has removed the feature.

Tried all things not working on Moto G4 plus
