Active Screen Filter for Android
But it gets confused some times. LOL.
So far so good but not at night
Keeps removing itself at times, blocks other apps from working. Really like this app alot please fix
Good job
I dont use it for my eyes i use it to block off nosey people who try to read my text
Screen flickers, also you are wasting batery if the filter is on when brightness is maxed. You should use a threshold brightness to trigger the effect, and a non-linear scale. Also remove the optin to dim buttons if it doesn't work. The icon is cool though.
It is a great idea. Unfortunately for me, once a while the screen turn back bright.
I randomly found this app and actually does work for me...also, it has fixed my screen. My screen has scan lines.
This app is good. But I would be great if it had a one touch widget to turn ON or OFF
So far so good but not at night
Awesome filter ever
I like it even though landscape mode is not available.
Great for late night reading or lite gaming in dark room. I also find the "additional" feature for overlaying the 'OK' button of app installation helpful :) But most of all, I like this app because the permission is very basic.
Just right. I have been looking for something like this for a long time. Complements the system auto brightness perfectly. Set and forget. 5 - stars!
I set it to minimum 30 at 50 lux. Makes nighttime reading more pleasant.
Perfect on night browsing/reading. Brings down the brightness below the minimum.
Dims screen just enough to not hurt my eyes
The battery had been dying quick each day, but after reinstalling this the phone had almost 50% by 7pm est. After using all day
Pls add a manual adjustment of brightness.
i would like to have a widget on my "desktop" for enabling/disabling the filter
Don't know if it's the system or the app causing it. uninstall. Edit... It gets 1 star because it doesn't work on my device. Simple! Why would I rate it higher if it doesn't perform as described????

Great app for night reading

Very useful
The app crashed on both my Nexus 7 2013 and my Galaxy Note 3, on the latest update. Not a big issue, but would like to see it resolved.
That option to change the transparent with light is awesome....
The first time i saw it,it looked like a useful app,but its just crap! It does not load thats number one, nd then the screen just go blank nd then it says it has stopped working!!
Great app. Just what I needed
Tried many and then found this one. This one you can use and simply forget about. Even works with electronic boarding passes.

It's a big problem that it lights up the screen at every setting change and also I can't get the light setting low enough. The set values for making it dark without the standard light setting doesn't work, all to "bright". I've used "screen filter" previously and set it to about 18%. It can go down to an all black screen but doesn't work with the normal setting. I'm really hoping you'll fix it! Would be wonderful! Also please use commonly known "terms" in the settings. All these numbers tell me nothing :D
I had to stop it because when I watch a video I don't want a dark or low light screen. Had to turn it off. Should be a way for it to sense when I need full lighting like when viewing videos.
I cant install apks when using this app. Please fix it!
Seems to work but drains battery
Files up the fact that dark isn't really that dark on my Nexus 5 (which is a good thing, but not for night vision)
Does what it says, works great, and the biggest pro is it seems to be the only filter/dimmer that also dims the navbar (currently on LG G3 and previously had it on my Nexus 4.)
But it crashes while using google chrome kindly fix it to get 5 stars.
Best screen filter in the Play Store. I love that it stays active even after you restart your phone
