Battery GO for Android
This is really great! I actually use this with other apps as well. However the floating button won't work over my other app. So I have to use the notification drop down to access it. Is there any way to make it float over everything? Also it's so close to the side of screen that it's hard to touch with the phone case I use. It would be awesome to move anywhere on the screen not just right on the edges. Thx so much! :)
The pokemon go's battery saver is supposed to blank out your phone and keep the game running. It never worked for me. This app does it for you at command, and instantly. You'll vibrate when pokemon are nearby, and you can easily get your phone ready. Very nice, easy to use app. Definitely worth the single dollar.
Keeps phones awake without allowing pocket dials etc. Occasionally wont pick up gps for a bit, but quite rare and a small amount of distance travelled. Much more useful that the in-game saver. Not hard to beat that though
If pokémon go stays on (without this app) I have no GPS problems but with this app after just a few min (maybe 5) the GPS signal is gone and does not come back unto unlocking the phone.. So no the app does not work for the game but I do use the app for when I don't want to reenter my password lol
Its a great concept and everything, but its just not working to save my battery power. I believe that its more the age of my phone then the actual app being the problem though. So for now I'll uninstall and leave it be until I can get a new phone, then I'll most likely try again.
Provides great screen control for prolonged game play. Root users can turn the screen off instead of dimming the value to 0. Root can be tricky on some devices, but the dev is adding new support for devices each week.
Unless I'm using the app wrong.. this doesn't save anything more than the in game battery saver does. I think I wasted a dollar.
I have a Kyocera running on lolipop. Since you're last update, the app just crashes while in my pocket.im using 7 dot swipe so it can't be unlocking because it doesn't show the symbol on screen showing that it's on. So then it turns itself back on randomly just after it crashes.
I used this every day, but today it suddenly stopped working. It'll do the usual putting my phone to sleep, but when it's time to start back up or won't accept my swipe code.
It works blacking out screen while pokemon go is on. But it makes my phone really hot and drains my phone battery fast..
Its so easy now to huch eggs, this is the ONLY app that I had have will ever buy from the play store, and I do not regert it!
It's no good for pokemon go, GPS not found. I use Samsung Galaxy prime and it doesn't work. I will change to 5 star if this is fixed
Gps deactivates for me unfortunately, so worthless on my oneplus 3 :( Actually if I use the flaoting button method, it works :) It also prevents the phone from sleeping, so 5 starts ;)
Constantly taking my phone out of my pocket to find no GPS signal.. I think accidentally pressing the switch screens button (bottom left) on my samsung s5neo, makes this happen, regardless of battery go being active at the time..
I have no proof that this app has any use of any kind: no Pokémon appear vibration or egg Kms increasing with GPS glitches at all...
I use it on my galaxy s7 edge and not only does the screen relight up in my pocket the phone just ignores everything and locks itsself
Whoops, bought a new phone that doesn't have a gyroscope, so the default battery saver won't work on it. It's also great for clicker type apps that only collect points when the screen is on.
It does what it's supposed to, but it doesn't interact with the game properly. Everytime you lock the screen, PkmGO crashes.
Accidentally pressing these buttons causes the game to back out without you knowing. Which it would disable them completely. Besides that. Basically turns off the screen.
Pretty awesome app works great runs good only one problem i wish they can make compatibilaty when a pokemon shows up on the scree i wish it would let my phone vibrate
Buy this app and watch you battery go! Plus this app causes my phone to over heat.
I use this app all the time, it's great if you want something to be running but don't need the screen on...
Good: Can now walk at work and hatch eggs. Bad: 86 to 24% battery in 2 hours.
Want my money back, I run pokemon in background but no distance gained it just carries on where I left off ....
The app doesn't work - possibly due to recent update by Pokémon Go.
Love this app but don't love the floating icon itself. Could be slightly larger, transparent and able to be put anywhere on the screen not just on the edges...
Since my pokemon go cant use the freaking battery saver i used this app TOTALLY RECOMMENDED !!!Thx dev
Locks the phone, keeps counting my distance for eggs and vibrates when pokemon appear. Gladly spend $1 on it.
Is anyone else getting a server error message after about 15-30 minutes? This app is a lifesaver but for this one thing. I really can't stop to hard reload the game every 30 minutes.
It turns of the screen for half a minute and then crashes
Does exactly what it says. The pattern unlock keeps you from accidentally turning the screen back on while the phone is in your pocket.
Only the floating button works status bar stopped working
Uses are endless.
Works okay. Sometimes my screen comes back on with no brightness and then I have to struggle to find the screen brightness settings usually in full sunlight
Not work for my RedMi 3
Keeps telling me that my device is not rooted, even though I granted it root permissions.
It says n paid to do
I use this app for the YouTube app
Ça marche bien

Decided to really test the battery saving, and it definitely helps. Although it's only really useful for hatching eggs. Seems like my phone doesn't vibrate for Pokemon with this on. But.. I went on a 10km walk to hatch a couple eggs, it took me about 2 hours. 2 hours with Pokemon go constantly running (with this app), and my phone went from 100 to 72. That's pretty ridiculous considering that 2 hours of regular Pokemon go drains me right to 0. I have a 3,010mah battery in a Xiaomi Mi3 if that's relevant.
