BIG Launcher

I don't understand all your themes or packs. Downloaded but didn't make any difference. Also freezes when checking for messages from home screen so I have to switch to another sms app that doesn't freeze or lag. Using a Blackberry Priv. Overall, good app.

It's ok but there are just too many flaws. You can still swipe down and accidentally turn on aeroplane mode, or turn off volume or bring up the multitask menu. All these things confuse an elderly person. You need to have full control of the phone for it to be effective

I recently bought this app but ever since Android Oreo it hardly works at all. Can't add apps to the buttons so useless. I wish I could get a refund. Hopefully this review prevents anyone else from wasting their time and money.

Perfect app for simplified interface. Worth every cent! So flexible and with many options. Everyone I show it to is so impressed and wants the app themselves. Only drawback is not being able to send texts with photos.

Big Dialer's font is SOOO big that you cannot see a complete 10 or 11 digit number in the top box when dialing. Giving us a way to adjust this would be helpful.

I think it's a very helpful app but when my phone restarts, I have to relaunch it again. That is very difficult for me. Is there a way to make it default even when I restart ?

Very disappointed to discover after purchase that this app has a serious flaw that renders it useless. If you bump the volume rocker during ring of an incoming call, the ring volume is muted and the answer options popup disappears immediately. You can not answer the call! Select the dialer and it appears that the call has been disconnected, but from the callers end, the phone appears to keep ringing. It is routine to bump a phones volume buttons while extracting from a pocket or purse, so you'll consistently be hanging up on incoming calls. The idiot OS program managers at Google do not see it useful to allow users to deselect the volume quick-mute option which is the root cause of the problem, but because this app drops the answer popup as soon as the volume is bumped, you loose any chance to answer the call.

I bought this Big Launcher on July 19, 2017, Its an useful app but I encountered a problem which that I can't find my contacts in the Big Launcher Contact search sometime, then I check the default contacts app and sometimes its there and sometimes its not though after sometime the contact comes back, so the launcher is messing with my contacts and I need a solution. Please Help

Call duration text(gray color) over the call time made(white color). Add cloud backup same as in Nova Launcher please.

I forgot my preferences password how can I retrieve it, please help

Works well on Nougat but on Oreo not all applications show in the application list. Using Google Pixel.

This app is wonderful and does exactly what it is meant to do, but there are a few bugs. When you rotate the screen in 3x4 mode, the apps are reordered and everything is in a different place on screen. This can be confusing to a senior. Swiping between screens often stops working entirely, and it skips screens when in loop mode. I have three screens, but swiping in either direction from the second screen goes back to the first. Finally, when you change icons, sometimes they revert back to the default.

About 4 years ago when I had to switch from an old flip phone to a newer model I picked an Android phone specify because a friend of mine showed me this. I'm legally blind and this launcher is perfect for me.

Launch the application first time after purchasing froze reboot it froze again rebooted finally working but why do you charge for themes you're ready charging $10 this is ridiculous

For 10.00 there should be an option to add the contact name on the button if you don't have a picture of them, hope they will in the next update, also how do you delete the text button under the phone button,

I am using lg max, I can't change the apps on home screen, or even i can't add any additional app on screen. I tried through set buttons menu but it's not changing at all. Please find a solution for this.

No reason why not. It's limited but functional otherwise.

I suffer from autism and I find this launcher very appealing and easy to use. From the colour themes to the size of the icons (I'm currently using 2x3) and the way you can use separate screens as folders. I can see this being my permanent launcher.

But cannot find setting to clear missed calls from wake up screen.

Not cheap for an app, but extremely well done. The free Kennedy theme gives a very polished look. It took a *long* time to get the menu structure the way I wanted it, but other than being able to move "buttons" around instead of having to redefine them, I can't think of any way this could've been easier. Anyhow, now that it's set up, it's a joy to use.

Very good application for simplifying the use of your phone especially for an older person. Recently after the 4.4 update the text messaging application seems to notify of a new message even though no new message has been received. Would definitely recommend as long as this problem is fixed soon please. Edit: problem with kitkat was solved and been working perfect with lollipop.

Icon pack support is broken, does not read entire pack mostly those alphabetized from A, B, and a portion of C. This has been tested through Glaskart, Mador, and Cryten theme packs. Would be great if this was fixed. Also spacing for battery and signal bar from text right below seems too crammed together. Option to scroll pages horizontally or vertically would be great and additional support for notification blinking on more apps would make this a solid contender. The normal $10 fee seems a bit steep.

Contact editor not work in kit Kat 4.4.3 even though selected the option in preference. Also it should have simple big call receive button so that elders can answer calls easily

Bought this for my aunt, but the notification sound does not work unless i open another launcher.

Disappointed. Using Samsung 5 Active. Asks for passcode when in Preferences. Lags while in Applications.

Excellent solution for people that lose their way on an Android Phone. This worked well for my Elderly Mother. I did need to tweak some things and add an Auto-Answer App. Two Suggestions: Incoming Calls: 1.) The launcher should handle incoming calls. The Android Slide to answer is not very Arthritis Friendly. I would imagine a very large Answer Call Button. Return to Home from Dialer: 2.) When in the Big Dialer App Keypad, it should return to Big Launcher Home after a certain time of inactivity.
