Lumos Maxima

This is a small app that all Potterheads need! After I uninstalled this app I regretted it immediately after (even though I did get the Order of the Phoenix free!). It makes the torch a lot more enjoyable. A must have for everyone who's a fan of the books and the movies! (but if you haven't read the books you are missing out hugely)

Didn't even crash...I was never able to see the point of Harry Potter til, i became much older and watched the movies til i realized how he became so loved and his Journey to become the most powerful Wizard with his family! Rip. Alan Rickman....

It totally works, and it totally makes you feel like you're in the wizarding world! Of course, we fans know that swish and flick has nothing to do with lumos, and everything to do with wingardium leviosa, and not sure why the Deathly Hallows pic is here either, lol, but no mind. This is a snazzy little app. For Potterheads, a must have! And hey, maybe adding a voice command for lumos would be even more fun! But in the meantime, good job devs, mischief managed!

Honestly as much as I absolutely adore this app I did have to uninstall it because it took up space on my device and you can do the exact same thing using Google. All you have to do is tap the Google microphone and say lumos and your flashlight will turn on and then turn it off all you have to do is push the Google microphone again and say Knox and it will turn the flashlight off

I told my husband it only turns on to dispel dark energy and I constantly swoosh and flick it at him where it illuminates his darkside as he yells at me to quit...bwahahaha! Also if you swish and flick and say Inguardium Levioso it levitates people out of a sitting/laying position to a standing one and they get up and leave the room! Sometimes it takes 2-15 times but I've found it to eventually works on even the darkest people in my life! #Magic!

A big potter fan as I am, this app cannot get anything lover than 5.0!!! Just additonal idea - it'd be awesome if you could get to run this app in a background so we would not have open it every time...

I love everything about it except that I can't turn it off!! It's on while I'm typing this right now! I would certainly give it 4 or 5 stars, but I can't because I have no way of shutting it off,and I'm not certain how I'm going to manage it.

Except i hate that I have to open the app for it to work! Wish i could Swish & Flick any time and presto! Light! But other than that i love that it goes on & off with just a flick! (Of course you gotta say "Swish & Flick every time too)

I got another app like this where u yap the wand and it turns on but it didn't work on my galaxy s5.... then I found this app it's way more cooler. I say GET IT if u r a harry potter fan!

it is an amazing app!. as being a HUGE harry Potter fan. I get the full harry potter experience!. I've seen and read all HP books and movies. I love pretending to say lumos and turn it on and saying nox and turning it off. I feel like wanting to walk the long dark halls of Hogwarts or the forbidden forest. Amazing job on making this!. it is good for anyone at any age I only wish you could add it as a background or widget so it could be easier to get to ;) . but overall AMAZING job. "LUMOS!"

I love that you use your phone's motion to turn on the light. What would be even more awesome is if we can use our voice. Or at least "Nox" to turn it off. All in all awesome!

This is so nice! Plus, the light doesn't die though my screen shuts (unlike my built-in flashlight). Then you just have to flick it again to kill the light. Thank you, thank you!

This is an adorable little app. Not sure why it says swish and flick, because that's for Winguardium Leviosa, but it's still cute. I have a lot of fun with this thing, haha. xD

No idea how this works but it's not turning on my light by touch or spell and I'm not finding anything else in this app.

This is so cool, it's actually controlled with swish and flick... but you should definitely update with some voice commands!! "Lumos" and "Nox"! Do it! Maybe have wand variations and customization.. or even just a few different wands to choose from you know? And also be able to voice command or swish and flick it from home screen or something instead of searching for the shortcut or have it open.. Get going!

Need I say more? Have a little trouble turning it on but loving it. I even say swish and flick whenever I turn it on! Potterhead or what?

Yelling Lumos in the middle of the night and feeling like you're a true wizard ✨ buuut there could be some fixes tho like making the swoosh and flick smoother because sometimes i have to violently shake my phone for it to work.

I'd give it a better review but Lumos isn't "swish and flick", that's Wingardium Leviosa. Ultimate Potterhead pet peeve. :(

The app works best when you don't have any other flashlight apps open. Other than that, it's just another flashlight app. So it's kinda lame.

This app works really well and it's a great alternative to a flashlight for Harry Potter fans. It is perfect because the Samsung Galaxy phone's do not come with a flashlight installed (or I haven't found it yet). This would be so much better if it were accessible without being on the app itself, but it works well anyway. For people who it isn't working for (it took me a while to work it out) you have to swish and flick the device itself, not the screen.

The lumps maxima app I so realistic! It's as if you are actually using a wand. Great for potterheads AND people who aren't.

For someone who doesn't get swish and flick just YouTube it and you will get the harry potter video. Once you get a hand on it, its so much fun to use

I never knew I dreamed of having this app until I downloaded it. It's super awesome and nerdy that I just had to rate and give it 5 stars!

All it does is make it super simple to turn your phone's flashlight on and off. Click the app. Swish and flick to turn light on. Again to turn it off.

At first I got it just for the novelty of it, but when you need to take a piss at 3am its handy to have a flashlight app that just takes a wrist flick to turn on and off.

It's like your phone was a wand, and all you have to do is to swish and flick it, and shout "Lumos Maxima!"

I'm a huge Harry Potter fan and I still can get over it! When I go to turn it on I say "Lumos Maxima" and I feel like a wizard!!!!

It actually makes u feel like it's your wand. Fandom, you'll go crazy its so awesome

I didn't have a flashlight, but now I have the coolest one ever! Just swish and flick, and it's on! Swish to turn it off.

Next best thing to having a light up wand. It gives off a nice warm light that helps me see what I'm looking for OR looking to avoid. :)

I downloaded it and tied it and this stupid peace of crap did not work I kept swish and flicking but the stupid thing don't work

This thing is too cool but I have to say,the"swish and flick" is for wingardium leviosa,a lifting spell. It doesn't describe any movement for lumos in books or movies

It's super cute, Super easy, I love it!

I really love this app ita fun and super easy to use,and being a huge Harry Potter fan I love that you have to swish and flick to turn on the flashlight,without it being to hard to turn on. The only thing I don't like is the picture when the flashlight turns on I think just a wand with a few different wand choices would make this app 5 star quality. :D

I showed my mum the back of my phone, I gave it a swish and the light came on and she was like 'how do u do that then?' Lol

I love Harry Potter and having this app makes it come to life. I just wish you could access the light without having to re-open the app everytime.

I liked it alot, it was a great thing to do to annoy my sis because she does not know what swish and flick means :3 I have a suggestion for you: please make it be able to turn off, mines been shining for HOURS! (please put like put a button on there or something to turn it off) And also swish and flick is for Wingardiam Levisoda...
