Landscape Wallpaper for Android
To those who don't have this function. I'm kinda disappointed that I have to keep this app even after using it. Well that can't be helped. I'm glad it's only a few kb in size.
An easy 5 star. Extremely lightweight (only 660kb), has no noticeable impact on battery, scrolling and automaticly switching between images works fine and does everything I was expecting the app to do!
but it's the only app that displays static wallpapers correctly on my phone.
It worked for me, but I currently have a Samsung Galaxy J1 and I have 3 home screen pages, when I cycle left it goes to the opposite end rather than stopping it makes the very tiny scroll distance far more apparent.. There needs to be an option to set how fast the scrolling is.. Other than that, great app ^-^
Cool way of getting the scrollable background back that Samsung removed (for some weird reason). Has a lot of settings to make your background scrolling suitable to your preferences. However, it would be great if the scrolling was tied to the screens? Like, there's a set portion of the picture that's the "home" screen and scrolling right or left would always reveal the same portions of the pictures right and left. Because the way it is now where your scrolling swipe determines how far the picture scrolls, is really messing with my head. I have to scroll to the "middle" section manually all the time because the picture can't be wrong. Also I'm not sure if it's a bug or intended but whenever there's an overlay where you can still see the background image (like the app overview or the thing that shows you which apps are currently open) doing anything close to swiping on that also moves the background image which also annoys me a bit. Other than that THANK YOU for bringing this back. Scrollable backgrounds are the BEST!
Since my phone got an update a few months ago, it no longer has a scrolling background. I've tried several other apps but this one is easy to set up and it WORKS! But becareful if you set up a directory, if you modify the contents in the chosen folder (by adding, deleting ir renaming pictures) you have to reselect it as the desired directory. You may have to uninstall and reinstall if that doesn't work.
I've been using this app for almost two years now with no issues. It basically scores a 5-star rating for me. However, I recently tried to set a very wide image with "lock aspect ratio" unchecked and what that did was squeeze my image. I was expecting it to have a longer scroll area instead. Another user had a good idea in that the wallpaper scrolls proportionally to the amount of pages you have. I know this is more work for the programmers, but you gotta seriously consider these ideas! ;)
It looks great absolutely lovely... But for some reason on my phone I can't manage to keep the exact same wallpaper displayed for more then a day... I've got all the settings I've wanted etc but it will not keep... I have to constantly go and reapply the picture I used. Always resetting to default background on my phone...
Im using note 3, ive tried scrolling launcher mod from Xposed Installer but it didnt work, tried several apps all didnt work until i found this! many thanks ^_^
Awesome! The greatest wallpaper scrolling simulation app! Like Samsung TouchWiz, Meizu's Flyme does not allow to set scrollable wallpapers. But with this app I got rid of this problem) Keep up good work))
Recently upgraded to galaxy s7 from s4. Now I get the message cannot resolve path when trying to use single image. It doesn't matter if the pic is on the sd card or phone storage. Frustrating. Worked perfectly on s4.
I was using your app for months and then it just stop working for me. I have the s5 and I tried both going through the gallery and the directory. Then when I go to the next step. It says can't load image. Please fix.
Loaded on a Oneplus 3. Tried six different pics and they barely move when swiping the screen left or right. For some reason it didn't have this issue when loaded on my older LG G3.
Needless to say I am overjoyed to find this gem...for free and with no visable exploits: This person's a saint. Only two gripes, minor ones at that, first I like the Idea of centering with homescreen (or a predesignated position) and two (I realize that there may be os limits but if it's only hardware some systems could take it) i would like a wider scrolling limit for long bigger pictures so I don't have to squish them to have whole thing / I could do landscapes.
I'm missing one option in border mode: the nice and fluent change into the next picture! I hope you know what I mean, no scrolling back to the start of the picture and completely independent of wallpaper update time, which I would simply like to turn off. Please do that for my eye candy ! .D .. edit: wide backgrounds get pressed together, pls fix that
Exactly as described and desired. No need to reconfigure your icons like some ui launchers. And had some options like scroll speed I didn't know I wanted until I used it. I wish you could set which portion the screen defaults to when pressing home key, but as workaround I just scrolled further to one side then centered my home. No annoying ads either. Take.
Galaxy s5. Used to work awesome! But now it won't load the image I select. All it has is a black screen with "image not found" or something like that. Please fix!
A couple more features would have made this the de facto wallpaper app for me. Namely, the ability to register clicks on the home button to reset the wallpaper to its default position (as well as coming back from a lock screen) to an option which controls the distance of the scrolling effect to be equal between how many desktops you have. If I have 3 desktops, the first swipe should move the bg to the center of the image, then the next swipe should show the rightmost. Instead, the bg is "detached" from the desktop position, and loosely floats and interacts with the pointer even if you don't swipe to another desktop.
I have a landscape image that i want to be able to see as a bg without being stretched. Sadly this ap cant do that
Nothing better to suit what you need. The only thing id like to see added to improve this app would be more functionality in regards to compatibile file types as i cant scroll or even use my widescreen live wallpapers due to file incompatibility. If more types were added, id easily rate 5 stars!!
Seemed cool, but it didn't work at all. I'd select my picture and then it would take me to the crop page that never loaded.
An option to start with the wallpapers being centered on the home screen instead of defaulting to the left border.
The app works for some time and the wallpaper goes black giving a image 'failed to load the picture'
Does exactly what it is supposed to.... really fantastic but lacking only one feature >> to set time interval for changing backgrounds as the current very rapid changing may cause some lagging .... nice work
I love the app very much. It has different kind of feature.my xperia l does not have full size wallpaper set.but this app fill that option.
Currently its malfunctioning, for some reason but i still stand by the fact that this is thr best application for changing wallpapers constantly! :)
I love the app or the wallpaper what ever you want to ref to it as just wish there was a update so when you run your finger vertically up and down on the screen it wouldn't move the wallpaper I find it annoying cause I have to keep repositioning the wallpaper every so often please add a fix
Awesome, the only app which does its job. Elastic scrolling, border mode, tablet and phone mode, refresh rate!!!! Omg the features I thought was only with the developers! Just download it, and im nit a fake user who gives fake revuews UPDATE :My TAB is ROOTED
When selecting a picture, why can't I use the entire picture without it compressing it making the image squished? Keeping the aspect ratio forces it to be cropped. You should be able to use the entire image if you can scroll through it as a wallpaper. Am I missing something?
Some times it does not perfoming it desired actions.. need to have some observness and update, developers...
The wallpaper settings CANNOT be changed after the initial. The app has to be uninstalled and re-installed to change any settings. If it weren't for that this would be a 5 star app! ~HTC One M8
Making custom wallpapers scrollable like those built in ones. They atleast got that right for ppl like me who arent asking much, so bravo!, makers of the app. :)
Its a very good app but now its posing a problem of loading image plz fix it asap
Does exactly what it is supposed to.... really fantastic but lacking only one feature >> to set time interval for changing backgrounds as the current very rapid changing may cause some lagging .... nice work
Clever usage of the live wallpaper allows you to make an interactive scrolling image, while retaining the original image's quality. One can set the speed of this too, to make it either scroll gently or instantly depending on how fast you select - what's more, if you change the way the scrolling stops at the edge of the screen, one can make it jump back to the beginning; so with a certain pattern one could give the illusion of an ever scrolling screen. My only suggestion would be a softer bounce-back option.
Was looking for this app for very long time. In Note 2, wallpaper is not scrollable. Now with this app I can make wallpapaers scrollable. Very happie ;)
I've seen other apps being able to do just gifs but without scrolling. If this app could do both my life would be complete.
(☆)But if only there's animation when it switch images. (★)Sufficient customisation on the scroll type, etc. (☆)Uses a lot of RAM - 20MB!!
On my galaxyI s5 i keep having to reinstall this app every week, it was failing to load a folder, the good part is it displays them well, it needs to be able for load more then one folder directory or sub folders, it is forcing me to scatter all file pics into a single folder, also I am not sure why some folders are displaying partially zoomed pics randomly, these could've added +2 Stars to my rating it.

If the app worked better, had more functions, I would want a add free version, it advertising it self is annoying, but it doesn't do what I want. It is the closest thing out there.. I think Android removed functions people wanted.
