Setting for Android 6.0 :
This app settings > Set default assist app > Assist app > JB LockNow
JB LockNow is runs over Android 4.1(Jelly Bean).
You can now swipe up from the Navigation Bar to quickly turn off screen.
Google search with Google Now will start by swiping on the system bar,
You can replace the Google search, will be able to turn off the screen in the same operation.
Because now you can operate from the navigation bar, you can turn off the screen at any time.

* This app uses the BIND_DEVICE_ADMIN permission in order to provide the screen lock function.

After updating to 6.0 if set jb lock as default assist app, i can't use fingerprint unlock method on my Z5. Hope this will be fix soon.I really love this app

This app replace power botton well but it uses instruction that block lollipop's smart lock. root users can consort to xposed measures.

Free my moto x power button, but what is the different between three methods? Can you just turn off the screen instead lock the device like the power button?

Now each tine i use JB lock to lock my device, when i wake it up, trusted faces dont work. Trusted faces only works if i used the power button to lock it ... Any fix for that? Does what it should and has a lovely icon on the slide up gesture! Its everything i was looking for since i got my Nexus 4 almost two years ago!

For a second I thought it would only go to the lock screen and the screen wouldnt shut off right away, but I checked the options and u have a toggle just for that problem, great job, I agree with another reviewer that it would be great if there were a couple icon options...also maybe more than one gesture for rooted devices?

works perfectly on my nexus 4 running stock 4.4.2 really fit my need of locking the screen without using the power button which is really fragile however, the lock image used to replay the search image seems a little bigger
