نشأ أحمد بن عبد الله الشريع في كَنَفِ والده بمدينة طريف الواقعة شمال المملكة العربية السعودية من مواليد 1381هـ وهو الابن الأكبر للمغفور له بإذن الله رجل الأعمال / عبد الله بن أحمد الشريع ، تلقى تعليمه المبكر بمدينة حفر الباطن شمال شرق المملكة العربية السعودية ، ومنذ حداثته وهو شغوف بملازمة والده وتواجده في مجلس والده العامر بالضيوف يومياً مما صقل شخصيته وجعل والده يعتمد عليه منذ صغره مما هيأه لإدارة الأعمال التجارية ومعاوناً لوالده في إنشاء و إدارة أكبر اسطول نقل بري على مستوى منطقة الخليج العربي.
