About Remote AAL
Our AAL systems are not only tools for the monitoring of user and environment but are also devices able to provide actions and services. AAL services are and will be based on the use of simply actuators, like automation components for the management of the domestic environments, but also of more complex systems such as medical devices and robotic assistants. These tools request more advanced control strategies because they interact and cooperate with users (dynamic and unpredictable agents) and their actions could influence the safety of subjects. Smart mobility services of WAC enhance aging people independency by providing mobility support in terms of smart public transport, smart drive system and portable devices with positioning and navigation assistance. Enabling technology have to efficient switch between indoor and outdoor localization mode, in order to have a great level of personal localization in the same devices. If necessary, additionally replacement and disposal should not cause problems. This aspect is particularly important in AAL because speech and sounds provide information useful for the safety and wellbeing of older persons. The main proprieties related to the reasoning are: sensor data collection and processing, modelling of events for the recognition of status and contexts, prediction of possible events and conditions, learning from the surrounding information, activation of actions and alerts. Smart sensors are intelligent systems that exhibit the integration of the sensing element with an electronic circuit that supports the data storage and the computation and communication software at the chip level. They can carry computation capability that enable on-chip data processing, be capable to detect and trigger selected events and perform self- diagnostics, self-calibration and adaptability. MEMSs are micro system-based sensors for mechanical, optical, magnetic, and chemical measurements, that are produces thought the techniques of micro fabrication. Biosensor are analytical devices composed of a biological component and physiochemical detector used for the detection of an analyte. And the use of ICT for independent living and active ageing is often considered as a key element to tackle current challenges of care and ageing, such as empowering people with age related dependencies or disabilities to live independently, delaying/avoiding institutionalization and staying active as much and as long as possible. Solutions may combine health, social care and smart living systems and 'age-friendly' environments. Process interoperability is our concept that has been identified as a requirement for successful HVAC implementation into actual work settings: explicit user role specification, useful, friendly, and efficient human machine interface and data presentation/flow supports work setting. In the context of aggregated services it deals with service components of different service and how they complement or depend on each other. Nowadays, we are facing rather decoupled isolated systems within mature subdomains, e.g. building automation, tele monitoring, tele medicine, mental and physical training, mobility support, goods and chore provision, infotainment, transportation, that exploit the AAL potential only in a very poor manner. The majority of older people wishes to remain at home and to keep their autonomy and to be able to perform daily tasks on their own. Independent living and active ageing are two complementary concepts that influence the self-esteem and perceived quality of life of senior persons. A use of our AAL technologies could improve the services provided by caregivers, allowing them to spend more time with the older persons. Networks and end systems will be merged together (Internet of Things). A kind of acting technology, such as our App, regards the home automation, commonly called “domotics”, with devices to manage the house and automate supplies.

Auf den ersten Blick similar to home set but even better !!
