Good Vibrations for Android
By far the best vibration app. I tried about 7 vibration apps and not 1 of them worked while this one worked without a single problem.
By far the best vibration app. Unlimited custom vibrations, and the option to mute repeated vibrations from the same app in your specified time period
Can make vibrations but can't use them...
Suddenly not working at all. Was until very recently, I'm talking some time yesterday (1-16-17). Great interface, perfect when it does work, but no longer functioning so 2 stars
I'm probably echoing what others have said: this app is mostly good, and my phone is better with it than without it. But it doesn't work all the time. Some notifications seem to sneak past the app, meaning that it seems like sometimes the app either 1) totally misses the "chance" (for lack of a better term) to intercept the notification for an event, and plays the system default vibe pattern, or 2) seemingly catches the notification after the system default vibe has already started. Still good overall.
Worked great until the last couple of updates. Now my phone doesn't always vibrate when I receive a text. I'll get a text from someone and it won't vibrate, then 5 minutes later I'll get a text from the same person and it will vibrate. It's becoming frustrating
I had an iPhone and missed the custom vibe pattern I had for years that alerted me to incoming text messages. Found this app and it let me recreate that vibe pattern and also do so much more with vibration notification customizations. Works great so far. Thank you for writing this.
This is a great app! I usually always miss notifications when my phone is on vibrate but not anymore.. There is one thing I will mention that is a shame and that’s the fact that the clock app doesn’t appear to vibrate my custom vibration, just the standard which isn’t always enough to wake me up.
I got this because of the stupid update that gives text msgs double vibrations automatically. I have this set to buzz once for 250ms, and to defeat the built in buzz. But this app, buzzes twice when I get a text and then allows the internal buzz to happen twice as well. Piece of junk worthless app
All of a sudden all of my custom vibrations stopped working no matter how many settings I changed in those apps or in this one. I tried using the support feature in the app and it's way too specific, doesn't allow you to add in your own problem so I can't get any help. Re-installing didn't work either so I'm just going to find a better app.
This app is just what I wanted. It disabled annoying vibration on messager. Thanks again developers!
I had a problem with the vibration on my phone( the motor is damaged) and with this i managed to lower the intensity. Perfect. I just hope to find something like this for the haptic feedback. Thanks
I've been looking for this app for so long! It's simple, easy to use, not very pretty but it don't have to be, and it's works perfectly!
Works well on s7 since the rocket scientist's last android update removed custom vibration.
This app fixed that . I could make them shorter. On my Moto X 1st Gen
Thumbs up.. just one issue after restarting my device I need again to turn it on. Notification acces.
Keeps vibrating multiple times on a single notification. This happens about every 5-6 notification.Really disappointing
Workes perfectly fine before the last update. Now it works once in a blue moon.
Great functionality, but causes phone to slow down.
FINALLY! an app that works as it suppose to do! I've tried many different apps, but this one was the only that lived up to the task! Would like to give it 10 stars..
SometImes works thing is that it gives me a notice before tapping o.k.
*Exactly* what I was looking for. I wanted to set a different vibration pattern for each app on my Pixel. Mission accomplished!
It cannot work in do not disturb mode anymore……
The best than others app, now I know when SMS coming...I can use my own pattern which more longer
Causes my texts to be delayed and let's the default vibration through after it does it's own. Like... Why?
Could do with a bit of UI improvement, but otherwise, it's so practical and useful.
This app makes vibrate on my Pixel usable!!
does not work
Yeah
Simply does NOT work.
Love this app
This is practically the only app that works perfectly with my phone! Plus, the developer is very responsive to emails. Note: Third party messaging apps may need to be treated with the app-vibrations instead of SMS-vibrations. Also, the first text I get after I close the Good Vibrations app doesn't always work properly, but after that it works perfectly. 5 stars!
Thanks a lot its really a great app
Update: The newest version now supports SMS and MMS. The different vibration patterns let you know whether the messages you're getting are worth checking. Original post: Works exactly as described for SMS messages, but doesn't vibrate at all for group/MMS messages on my S5
Has all the features I want for custom vibrations for SMS and MMS. Works great in conjunction with Messenger, which pitifully does not offer any vibration customization whatsoever. I complained before that this app didn't work for MMS, and the developer got back to me in a courteous, timely manner. Excellent work and communication by the developer.
This was exactly what I wanted, Marshmallow changed all my vibrations and gave me few options. This is a functional, pleasing app, easy to use. Elegant. Great features. Bravo!!
I use this app to set vibration into Morse code for different types of notification, so I'm always aware of what notification I'm receiving even when the phone's in silent mode. The developer is awesome, and is very responsive to my inquiries. Great app, great dev!
Does exactly what I want and the developer is incredibly responsive! I wanted the ability to set specific vibrate patterns for individual contacts, phone calls, SMS notifications etc. Found this app which also lets me tap out my custom patterns and there are no ads. No ads is rare in free apps and so much appreciated. Thank you Wouter! I've had 2 questions for the developer in the couple weeks I've had the app installed and Wouter returned my emails within hours each time and both answers were exactly what I needed. Once you get used to the interface, you can get some customization done. Still working through a couple of items and I think the interface could be a little more intuitive so I'm holding back one star :)
HTC 10 default message vibration was far too faint, now I never miss a text, excellent app

Does the job as I now feel the vibration in my pocket which I couldn't with the standard phone alert on my OnePlus 3T. Only problem is with email. My email app checks for email and it finds say 3 emails, the vibrate alert set in Good Vibrations will apply the alert for each email and not just once to indicate I have emails. I have vibrate set to 4 vibrates for email. Yesterday I had 5 emails come through and it vibrated 20 times!
