Variety crystals form very large. The crystals can have from four to hundreds of faces. But they have the remarkable property - whatever the size, shape and number of faces of the same crystal is flat faces intersect with each other at certain angles. The angles between corresponding faces always the same. The crystals of rock salt, for example, may take the form of a cube, parallelepiped, or prism body more complex forms, but always their boundaries intersect at right angles.
