AGAINST ‾‾‾‾‾‾‾ ① It will reduce the smoothness of transition effects, such as when you swipe from homescreen to homescreen, causing a slight but noticeable stutter. This is true even on modern, fast devices. ② It absolutely *will* have a significant impact on your battery consumption, causing a constant, noticeable drain which will be reflected in the noticeably increased speed with which your battery percentage decreases. Both "AGAINST" points are for the same reason, namely that the app is simply a significant resource sucker —  the price of its beauty. This could be strongly mitigated IF LOWER EARTH ROTATION SPEEDS WERE OFFERED, but of the 5 possible settings for this, even step 1 is too fast. ③ I wrote the developer about this, but THE DEVELOPER IGNORED ME AND DIDN'T REPLY. That's how an app this gorgeous winds up with a barely adequate "it's OK" rating : first draining your device's resources, then being uninterested in users' feedback and proposed fix.

It is 0202 am here, my phone says "02:02 am", I have set "auto rotation of planet on its axis" to "current time", my phone is connected to the Internet, the sky outside is pitch black. Yet this application insists that the sun is currently firmly shining on my location! Could you please fix this? I would like to be able to use this wallpaper as a sort of intuitive world clock to keep track of what time it is for my friends who live in different places.
