About DashNotifier for DashClock

DashNotifier is an all in one extension for DashClock Widget - http://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=net.nurik.roman.dashclock

Featured on XDA portal and Android Police!

An essential extension for DashClock, that makes full use of its extensibility to give you control of notifications from ANY application on the lock screen. Add notifications for up to eleven applications in DashClock widget. To see more/less than 7 extensions, tap on the settings icon in DashNotifier settings Activity and enable/disable extensions.

This will not show up on your app launcher. To use this, go to DashClock settings and add extensions from this application.

Uses Notification service in Android 4.3 and Accessibility in Android 4.2. Because of limitations in Accessibility service there are a few less features/functionality in Android 4.2. DashNotifier only runs on devices with Android 4.2+. Lower Android versions are and will not supported.

Now with more than a hundred icons inbuilt, thanks to Milosch Lee - https://play.google.com/store/apps/developer?id=UPpack

Worked perfectly, but has since stopped working. Notifications stay in DashClock even if notifications have been swiped away. Sadly, app was last updated over 2 years ago.

To be honest, where do I start in how good this app is. Dashclock is already my number 1 go to widget and with this to accompany it, it's just amazing. Well done

This is an OK app but it does have two issues. The first one is... it does Not offer automatic rotational viewing. So in other words, on my Samsung phones the content is displayed in portrait mode when my phone is charging in landscape mode. From what I can gather Dashclock uses the display mode that your phone is last on when it activates. So if your Homescreen is able to rotate like on a tablet, then no problem. However, if you're using a phone and your homescreen locks at only portrait mode then when Dashclock starts while you're charging... everything will be displayed sideways. The only way around that would be to open up any app that rotates, like Gmail for instance...then Dashclock will be displayed properly if your phone is in landscape mode. I did that until I found a rotational app that rotates my homescreen only when it's plugged in. The second issue/bug I found is a biggie. When Dashclock is running, it disables the swipe down to show notifications. When I first discovered this bug I thought it was my phone... but the problem only occurs when Dashclock is activated during charge....

Then it never worked again. Tried uninstall - reinstall... Nothing. I have done all setting right, allowed notification access. It would have been perfect with Action launcher + dashclock widget.

Got it to work quickly and easily on my Nexus 4 and allowed me to have Google Messenger notifications in dashclock despite there being no dedicated extension

C70%
by C####:

Though everything is properly routed no notifications appear on the lockscreen, just on the dashclock widget on my homepage. If it functioned it sounds like it would be great. But it doesn't so save yourself the disappointment.

It's not working on Android 4.4.4. (Sony Xperia Z3) Everything is properly routed between apps, but still, nothing appears on lockscreen. Other DashClock widgets work fine. Will five-star as soon as the problem is solved.

B70%
by B####:

This thing works great. Not one problem and I've been using it for over a year. . For those haveing a problem not finding it, it is NOT A WIDGET. You need the DASH CLOCK widget to use this. It works INSIDE DashClock.

I like how I can customize what I want to see. It's nicer than having to download a ton of separate apps to show notifications. 5 stars when I can rename the entries instead of dash notifier 1...etc.
