Battery Health Bar Widget for Android
I've had this app for 2 years or more and its always worked fine. On each of the three phones i had. (Xperia Ion. HTC One m7. And now LG G4.) I've had my LG G4 for a few months now and up until now it has worked fine. The app just recently stopped working? It doesn't update the battery unless i remove the widget and place it again. It'd be great if that could be fixed because I've been using this app for so long. Great app. Works great when it is working. Needs to be fixed.
I have used this widget for years and just recently noticed it has stopped adjusting to my battery life. I also can no longer open it to access the settings. I uninstalled and reinstalled it but now it's on the default hearts with none filled in. I'm ver disappointed that this has happened. I have always loved this fun bit of personalization on my phone. ***Update*** After a couple days of not working the widget has started working again for now.
I stumbled upon this randomly searching Borderlands stuff. (don't know how this showed up) I downloaded it just to check it out. I was surprised to see how great it is. It's really accurate and I love the different selections of heart styles. This takes the top spot on my android home page. A very nice addition to my phone. Nice job!
This thing looks awesome and works perfectly. I really love this. To add just go to "Widgets" and drag to the screen. I especially love how you can customize the hearts. My only complaint is it does slightly make your battery down quicker, I also have an animated background and my battery on my android still lasts ~12 hours.
These hearts are extremely accurate on remaining battery life. The phones original battery icon will be rendered useless after you get this. It just doesn't compare! Plus you can change the style of hearts that you use! Fun and useful, very reminiscent of The Legend of Zelda! ;P Thanks for this! :D
I love its settings and customizability! It's only setback is that it doesn't have the option to adjust the size of the widget itself; No matter how many hearts you select (from 3 to 20), the widget remains 2×4.
I love this app which is why im still giving 5 stars but i hope you can fix this bug. It causes the hearts to all be empty and renders the options menu unavailable. I've reinstalled multiple times and no fix. I'm running droid DNA stock Rom no root on android 4.1. I hope you can fix this soon
So much better than a percentage number or a tiny battery icon. A quick glance and I know the level. Took me a while to figure out that I could tap the widget to change settings. I use Apex Launcher which let's me put widgets on top of other widgets and I have this battery meter behind my 5 day weather forcast.
I like this widget, but when nothing else is running on my phone this app uses the highest percentage of battery life vs system-related processes such as Launcher and Screen. Despite this the battery still lasts a long time, but there may be a more energy-efficient way to run this widget.
I also have the widget installed on a Galaxy S6 and it will no longer update with the actual battery percentage. If the battery level changes or if I make any changes in the settings, I need to remove the widget from the home screen and place it there again to see the changes. I loved the widget on the S3. Please fix asap!
It's difficult to make changes because it sometimes freezes up. It would be really helpful if there was a picture next to each style of hearts to show you the look, so you didn't have to change it and then wait to see what it looks like. It has also frozen up sometimes and stopped showing battery life.
On Samsung's HTC Motorola's new and old now on a Alcatel this ap works great! *f you plug/unplug your phone frequently and don't do full charge cycles the battery % display of androids are gonna always be a bit off*
Loved it alot. Goes well on my screen. Only reason its 4 is cause i wish there was a 5 heart option so it can fit perfect on my screen without that extra spot. But thats just me being nit picky. Otherwise i love it!
App was awsome till o got the note 5 with android 5.1. It laggs on what the battery lvl is and u need to remove the widgit from the screen to re load it the 3 huors later do it again. Just needs to be updated
Love this app since I am a huge Zelda fan but recently got a nexus 5x and was sad to see it didn't fit across my whole screen in the 1x10 mode I always use. Would love to see it updated to fit all phones since the screens are just getting bigger and bigger
I love this it gives my phone a nerdy Zelda touch which is awesome <3 For those who didn't know how to make it work, hold down on an empty screen and there should be options on the bottom and it should say Widgets and its there! The only bad thing about it is that it lags but none of the less it's still awesome
LOZFreak right here so I love it! You know what would be great? If it made the beeping sound from the game when the battery was low. For a few seconds at least. And when we charged it, the sound of collecting hearts would play. :D
Added option for beeps at 3 hearts would be hilarious. Otherwise great app; I love the different heart style choices! Also, the two-finger tap for settings is simple and effective.
I love the look of it, and it's very nostalgic, but I constantly have to set my preferred heart style. The widget randomly resets itself to the default eight-bit setting.
When i installed it nothing doesnt appear when i charge my Tablet no hearts or anything on it different and i also checked the Play Store again and it only said Uninstall is it a. Glitch or something?!?!
I hate it. It dosnt even work donloaded it and i cant even find it. To the guy who gave instructions, i followed the instructions after i couldnt find it, still i couldnt find it. Suggest you dont get it. Youre foolish if you do. Thank you for reading my short essay.
This is an amazing widget! Especially if you're a zelda fan. For when it's at low health though, I would like an optional beep sound or a message from fi in the notification bar.
Awesome little widget. Took me a while to figure out where my widgets are, but once I did.. :) only thing is I always feel like I need to charge my phone, but that may just be me. :p
if the bar is set on 2X10, then when 10 hearts are gone that should mean your battery is at half bar, but on my phone at 10 hearts its 75% full, is this a glitch? Besides this issue I love the app
I loved it, but now its not working well. It will freeze some times at about 75% battery life. Then my phone will buzz that I have less than 15%. That's kind of annoying.
I like how easily you can adjust the size and shape of the meter but it only has one style (hearts). In addition, the app has a different name than the widget so it took me awhile to figure out it was the same one. What is up with that?
The only complaint I have is that for my bionic it seems to make it run slower even though I have little to no apps running in the back ground and is interfering with my messaging app. Maybe just my phone but I had the same problem with my last bionic!
I've been using this app for years. Now, all of a sudden it has stopped working. I really love it, and I'm not sure why it no longer moves with the battery life (nor can I change the style of hearts).
I love the customization, but every so often it'll stop working and stay in one place, not changing with my battery life. It can be fixed by restarting my phone (or the app, I believe), but other than that minor bug, I love having it.
No problems at all, this app perfect! If it's not perfect it's your phone.
Hey guys I've had this widget for a long time now and I must say it is an enjoyable widget but I would like to see something new with this such as when Link gets stuck & the sound of Link losing hearts I want that feature when the percentage of my phone loses life I would love to hear the same sound when I lose either a whole heart container or a quarter piece. That feature would be a tremendous improvement on the app. Can this please be done? Please respond. Thank you!
I've used this app since 2012. And recently it doesn't keep up with the battery life. I uninstalled it to only make things worse. Now it doesn't tell me at all how much battery life I have nor let me change the style of hearts. Fix it please
Please add more styles from more games like Twilight Princess or even a pixelated version of that and the ability to adjust the size of the widget. This is awesome!
This is the one widget that has been with me since the beginning of Android. Through maybe a dozen phones, these little hearts have been there. But it seems its time may be at an end. periodically, this app will become a huge battery consumer, somehow using for or five times more then heavy battery using apps like Facebook. I understand this is probably a conflict with the operating system, as the operating system has advanced, and this app may not have. Hoping this will work itself out in the future... <3
Ive used this with every phone ive ever bought. As soon as I got my note 5 it has been a little glitchy. The number of hearts doesn't correctly correspond with my battery percentage unless I remove the widget and put it back but it ends up just showing the same amount if hearts again after reapplying it to my home screen.
Add the option to turn on sound notification of low battery that sounds like low health on Zelda. Keeps up well, HTC one
I give it 3 stars just because i love Zelda games but it won't show up
Great app! I love it! Would love to see a function for custom width and height settings and also a single heart container that slowly drains. And optional percentage indicator.
The app is really awesome! But it would be really funny if it says "Game Over" when the phone is completely out of battery :p

I love this and have had it on my phone for almost 2 years now. However, within the past month, the widget has reset itself to its defult settings twice on it's own, at random times. Which causes me to have to change the heart style, the number of hearts and the text again. I'm not sure why this is, maybe it's a bug to check? Anyways, it's still a great widget - thanks!
