Another Widget for Android
First time I downloaded this, I immediately uninstalled because it prompted me to create some account in order to see the weather. I just downloaded this app again and I see the weather works and without an account elsewhere. So far I'm digging this and my Moto G5 Plus looks just like a Pixel 2!
Oct 16: update installed. Everything is working perfectly now. One last request would be to auto truncate the events to keep everything in 1 line. Thanks! :) Oct 14: just got the update, everything is working now! Only thing i'd add is font size and option to truncate to keep events in 1 line. Upgrading to 4/5 for now. Nice work sir! :) Widget doesn't show weather or calendar events on my S8 even after granting all necessary permissions. I already tried restarting, reapplying permissions, and reinstalling.. no luck. Will give 5/5 if these issues can be resolved. Thanks!
This is actually almost great. But my reason giving a 3/5 is because the weather is not accurate with the app that i choose to open when i tap it (google weather or today weather) and we can't choose different provider. I'll give it a 5 when this has been fixed. Thank you
Really well designed widget. Just one problem, when the event is within a minute of its start, it just says "(Event) in" and nothing else. Everything works very well though
Love the update and being able to adjust text size and colour. Please re allow the 1st row of text to flow into a second line instead of truncating, it's the only thing I miss from the previous version.
Good functionality, but needs improvement. Product sans font should be integrated, and the spacing of the lettering as of now stands to be too wide; any font size larger then 23pt will prevent the entire date being shown on Wednesdays as the widget isn't wide enough to accommodate for the long word.
I must say widget is too good. But I see weather doesn't get refreshed according to default app. What I mean is it display different weather on widget then what you will get once you tap on it which takes to Google weather. Hope dev resolves this soon.
I like how the widget changes between just date & weather and event & weather. Only issue is that the top line text has a bug where it justifies the text to the far right sometimes. even after refreshing the widget. Great app tho!
The icons of the weather are not that exact as that of the pixel 2 widget. For example, if the weather conditions are foggy then the icon should look like the fog one like on the Google app. If it could be changed then it would look really nice.
App works as intended. There is a small problem on my S8 where after the countdown for an event it would say "[event] in". Also, I would like to have the ability to choose my own Weather service provider.
Love the app. Simple, free, and effective. The events have an issue, though. When a event is active or upcoming, it's not possible to access the full calendar. Tapping the event or date just brings you to the event screen, with no way to go to the calendar, just an X on the top left that just exits the current view.
Even though the widget doesn't consume a lot of battery, it keeps the wake lock running all the time and doesn't let the phone go to hibernate when the phone is locked. This drains the battery faster. If this issue is fixed, I will start using it again
Love this widget! My one problem with it is when an event is <1 min away, it just says 'event in' without a time. Fix this and I'll give it 5 stars
Great widget. One problem however is when displaying a calendar event, it's really difficult to hit the weather icon to open the weather app.
I will rate 5 stars only if one thing which is Annoying me. I've set 30 mins. for refreshing the weather time but it never updates....Pls fix it
Widget is beautiful... Please also add ability to display multiple all day events one by one. Currently it's stuck into displaying only one event.
Can we turn off "see events at most until _" (the min is 3 hrs). I use my calendar for my class schedule and want to see the normal date/weather between classes. Also, can you change the font to Product Sans?
Awesome. The only thing that need improvement is the weather i think. It showed sunny while it was night. And showed moon while morning. Sometimes i need to reapply the custom location for the weather to work properly.
Everything is good but one problem, in its weather settings, I've selected it to refresh weather in every 30mins. But sometimes it doesn't change....plz change it to ''refresh whenever i turn on my data'' ..bcuz i want up to date weather...so plz change this...
The app now works great .. just one thing to add .. TEXT SHADOW. It will add clarity to the text and make it pop adding more clear look and readable text
It's good and all, however on devices such as mine the font doesn't work since i've changed my system font, though this could be fixed by simply allowing the user to make the text bold. I'm sure there's an even better way but it's a start.
Looks awesome. It never syncs my tasks. It'll say "3 hours until art" while I'm in art. I can manually sync it by going into the app but... Really. Apart from that i love it.
I do not have an option to show time. Only the date shows. I enable the weather but it does not come up on the widget even after refreshing the widget and rebooting the phone. Only all day calendar events show. But then take away current date.
Removing a star due to a bug spotted: the text goes off-centre every day when the date changes. Only fix is to change widget size or reapply. Hope this can be fixed. I'm on a OnePlus 3T with Nova Prime.
Thank you for the widget. It's awesome! One request if possible - please make the widget use Product Sans font instead of Roboto (as that's what Pixel 2 Launcher also uses :) - then it would make it a perfect replication. Hope you take the feedback!
Can you update it to use matched font just like on the Pixel 2, I think the font is google product sans and also the widget is not centered on some day like friday.
amazing alternative to the at a glance feature. unfortunately, it doesn't update weather data automatically. i have to refresh widget manually Everytime
As of Oct 27, it's not updating automatically. It was working really well before though!
It gives the super awesome pixel 2xl feel. :) I'm already on open beta android oreo 8.0 and this makes the perfect addition to my home screen combined with pixel 2 wallpapers :) thanks for the widget. Keep going
This widget would be absolutely perfect if you added one more thing. That would be Product Sans.
Doesn't do much good to have a free download if you can't try it out without buying it. Can't get it to do anything unless I buy it. Can't tell if it works or not.
It's not showing the weather. I installed this widget yesterday and the weather was showing then today I just pressed the widget to get an update on the weather and the weather part just disappeared and showing date and day.
Best implementation of the Pixel 2 'At a Glance' feature on the Play Store!
Only thing negative I can say is weather does not update even if I go in and refresh the widget
Is pretty good, would give 5 stars if dev optimized battery consumption a bit more. Otherwise so far so good.
Give more options for weather source. It would be great of you could include Google Awareness API for weather info. But, other than that not much to complain about. Great Job!
Ya mejoró. Lo que no me gusta es que pida la geolocalización y que no aparezcan los eventos y, además, ni actualiza
Perfect. I have the Pixel XL but wanted the pixel 2 look. This combined with Nova launchers beta that gives the search bar in the bottom dock is exactly what I wanted. Thanks devs!
I withdraw the feedback I gave: it was all done/explained in the current/future update, just me being ignorant.

I like it. It works flawlessly. I just have one problem that the font of the text is not like pixel. You should add a setting to change the font of the text. Also can weather be provided directly from the google? Why do we have to sign in to some other wether provider? All other things work good. Overall an awesome app. Good job ! Looking forward for the next update.
