It states that it only works with Android 2.2 and under. If you're getting a black screen it's because your device has a newer operating system than version 2.2. Do you people ever read app descriptions or do you just stupidly click the install button? Duh...

Will not work on LG splendor using 4.0 ice cream. On my Samsung galaxy s, it was a great wallpaper. But it DOES work above 2.2. It worked on gingerbread 2.3.5.
