DashClock What App for Android
I like it. It does what it's supposed to do. Too bad that there is an app icon in my app drawer now. Seems unnecessary since other Dashclock Extensions don't do that. Edit: after seeing that only donating will remove the icon in the appdrawer, I changed my rating to 1 star
Need option to hide group message notifications
Good

If I only have messages in one conversation, when I double-tap the notification, it should bring me right into that conversation, rather than just open whatsapp.
I Only see the whatsapp icon and not the entire message when I receive a new message after updating to Lollipop.
Needed to enable notification access, but then it worked like a charm.
There isn't much to say here, it does what it says on the tin and it seems to work well no glitches of anything
Finally found an extension that meets the way I would like to use WhatsApp. I can read messages right on the desktop without having to open the app (not used on my lockscreen, so no comment). * This is the point of the app; not for you if you are concerned about keeping your messages hidden. Unread messages remain on the DashClock widget until the conversation is opened in WhatsApp itself. Settings are basic and provide very little customisation. There is no option to open a specific conversation. And it does create an icon in the app drawer. However, it pulls a little less RAM (12MB) than the other extensions I run on DashClock and it gets the job done for me. Received a remarkably prompt reply when I emailed the developer about having an option to keep the extension visible as a shortcut in the widget even when there are no new notifications. I look forward to giving it a higher rating if they manage to make it the way I would like to use it.
I'm assuming the dev means 'whatsapp', not 'what app'. If you can't spell properly, I don't expect you to code properly. Benefit of the doubt led me to installing it, but it being defective proves my point. Uninstalling.
Tapping notification just takes you to WhatsApp main page, not to the conversation.
Works fine
Doesn't work
also breaks Google now hotword detection if enabled in accessibility
Zero configuration. It works, but displays all message contents. Better install DashNotifier.
I Only see the whatsapp icon and not the entire message when I receive a new message after updating to Lollipop.
Nice having your notifications on the locked screen...
Fit for all mobiles
Could have been amazing
como q no era necesaria la extensión
Display at dashboard is great..
After rebooting many times I started to see whatsapp messages on the dashclock lock widget. Today, it's missing again. Please fix. OnePlus One - CM11S
Doesn't work for the one plus one
This widget should display only the no. of msgs received.. Why does it show the actual msg along with the content..this ruins the privacy part.. kindly fix this..
But why on earth do you have to introduce you own icon?! There is absolutely no need whatsoever for branding here...

Would be more useful if it actually opened the conversation instead of just the app.
Thumbs up to the implementation , however it has a bug and intrudes Google now voice recognition on my Nexus 5, when notification for the same is turned off from accessibility, Google now voice works just fine. Please fix. Thanks.
I really don't need an app icon for this. Works well
Need option to hide group message notifications
Doesn't show msg preview on L lpx13d
Accessibility service disables "ok google"
Causes weird buttons in google camera
Why is there an unnecessary Dashclock Whataspp Icon in my app drawer? It's dashclock dude! It's suppose to be a widget! Not a friggin app. *Updated* Still appears in the app drawer. I'm uninstalling it. Plus, it messed up my "Okay Google" recognition. Lousy app.
But becomes unnecessary with KK widget
If I turn it of in accessibility, "Ok Google" would work again. 1+1, 4.4.4
Nice
App
