--------- INSTALLATION STEPS :
1. Install ssLauncher Original :
You must have the ssLauncher Original installed first on your device. Please search it on Google Play Store and install it.
2. Install The Brown Agenda Theme
Only after ssLauncher Original installed, you can install The Brown Agenda Theme.
3. Launch ssLauncher Original :
Launch ssLauncher Original - Press Menu button, choose "Theme", then "Apply Theme Package". Then choose the Brown Agenda Theme. You will be prompted to clear Fonts & Images, choose"Yes".
4. Make new pages :
After applying the theme, please provide 9 new pages first, because you will link some buttons to each new pages.
To make new pages, go to Menu by pressing your device menu button and scroll down and tap + button
Choose Cover Page and make 3 new pages : Home, Slide In, News Page.
Repeat the process to make the other 6 new pages, but this time are Application Group pages : Productivity, Social, Fun, Photography, Music, Misc.
Optional : you can also make Productivity, Social, Fun, Photography, Music, Misc. pages as Cover Page, not as Application Group with provided color markers wallpapers.
After all pages are made, change their wallpapers as per screenshots : Press Menu button - scroll down and tap the icon above the pencil icon and select the appropriate wallpapers.
You have total 9 pages now.
5. Apply a layout in a page :
– Long press the free area of the page.
– Select Load Template
– Select Cover Page
– Set layout just like the screenshot displayed on my Google Play Store :
Template 1 ----to---- Slide In
Template 2 ----to---- Home
Template 3 ----to---- News Page
Template 4 ----to---- Productivity, Social, Fun, Photography
Optional :
Template 5 ----to---- Productivity
Template 6 ----to---- Social
Template 7----to---- Fun
Template 8----to---- Photography
Template 9 ----to---- Music
Template 10 ----to---- Misc.
6. Linking buttons to pages :
As for the Productivity, Social, Fun, Photography, Music, Misc. buttons, you can link them to pages you create on step 4, and you can add applications on the pages as per categories.
7. (Optional) Tab name depends on the page name, so just in case you want to change the name of a tab, you must change the name of the page the tab links to :
go to Page Navigation by pressing Menu button and tap the pencil icon aside the each page and change the page title, OK and get back to page with tabs.
then tap the tab button with the previous name of the page and since you no longer have the page with previous name, it will prompt you to reassign a new page to it, and choose page with the new name.
(you may want to reposition the tab name if it moves after you change its name : please press hold it and move around or use the middle cursor to fine tune it)
8. (Optional) Font style on the Home page is customizable, you can download any font you like to your device, add it to the launcher and use it :
Press and Hold one shortcut and choose Edit - Title - Font Family - Add Font - browse your favorite font on your device.
Fonts come with different size so after changing the font you may want to adjust the size : Press and Hold one shortcut and choose Edit - Title - Font Size
Always Apply and Save Settings after all.
9. Lock the screen to avoid accidental layout setting :
Go to Menu by pressing your device menu button, tap the lock symbol on the left bottom.

I paid and download the app but doesn't when you open the app is just a picture nothing else. I try to get my money back the massage is come back later . App not working. Rip-off

Very good and totally customizable. I only wish we could change the colors of the agenda itself as brown and pink are my least favorite colors. The only thing I would add to this is a few more styling options like drawings, stickynotes, etc. This could just be my non-techniness speaking. I would definitely recommend this app. Lifehacker brought me here!

Great concept, but you write instructions like a 12 year old - making it impossible to configure and test in 15 minutes, yet don't have a free version? Come on...the install doesn't even have half of the wallpapers you show above! I'm gonna keep whacking at it because I'm persistent and like the concept-but this isn't a theme, it's a hack. As such it should be on XDA (free), not the market.

Nice design. Love it. Wish I could find the calendar widget you are using fir your layout. Providing a list of third party widgets you have used would be helpful.

Thank you so much for making me slate! & especially interrupting your vacation to do so! I seriously refuse to use any other launcher! I've tried all the top choices in the Play Store & always uninstall every one but never my sslauncher! I'm still learning how to customize my themes but regardless my set-up it's the launcher itself that appeals to me. I haven't found another like it. Any thoughts on any kind of cool looking 3D-ish type themes? Perhaps using blue/green colored textures of some sort?

It looks great, it really does. My only issues would be an option to change the names of the tabs or change the fonts of the home page. So a little more customization options, and a little less lag, and this would get 5 stars. Other than what i mentioned, great job with the theme. It made me convert from nova launcher. You can thank life hacker for my switch though, i have no clue how you got your theme on that site lol

I installed SS Launcher and then this theme.... My Goodness what a theme.... feeling on top of the world... U R Really genius. One issue: When I click on slidein page its not able to find the application in play store. please let me know the application it is using in slidin page

While I like general idea and overal look and feel, I think it's overbloated and crowded with too much 3rd party apps. You need to have them installed in order to get exact what you see on screenshots. So, for some (other) people, not that much into customizing, a list of "must have" 3rd party apps is a must have. And also a side note that some of them are not free. So, it's not actually true that all you need to get this look, is ssLauncher and this theme installed. You need much more.
