I've had this thing for a while and everytime I restart it my icons are crazy if they are even there sometimes. I downloaded advanced task killer. After I power up I kill the apps through task killer. Everything is back to normal after that.

Still alot of issues the biggest of which is screen tearing and flickering in home and in every app

Home app disappears when in guess mode

I created a guest acct so I don't change any Settings for main user... Home page doesn't load for app access and any attempts.

Always trying to update with app 360 anti virus I do not want it or like it. Its crap I did not request. If I want a anti virus i'll pick the one I want. and I already did. Are you sony or google make up your mind who has control. I say the customer should have total control of what they buy ounce its payed for..!

Previous update got me auto popup on my screen. Its automatic touch all the application and its annoying + disappear icon on home page....right now all solved. i'm happy with it. Thanks SONY!

Lacks one star due to problem with this app. Like everyone says that screen still flickers randomly, sometimes the app stops due to unknown reason. Hoping for this to be fixed soon.

This bult-in launcher is nice looking and very smooth (unless you want to set Live Wallpaper, as it cause heavy lags for no reason). And finally Sony fixed the missing icons after restart.

Tablet s, sonys first tablet, bought, updated to icecream, sony sneakily locked tablet no way to go back to original honeycomb so unlockable.No update to jellybean, then have cheek to install and update their own apps, last sony product I buy.Also stop pretending xperia s is same as tablet s, deliberately confusing tablet s owners regarding updates and booting tablet.First sony tablet buyers should be rewarded for buying, treated with contempt.Still rankles 3-4 years after buying.

Constantly crashes in guest mode. Had to reset to factory defaults and re-install EVERYTHING! Crashed again when trying create a guest profile for my grandson. A load of crap!!!

My tablet is going crazy!!!! Fix this!!!! It keeps on prees random things on the bar and on the app. It took me ten minutes to write this!!!!!! Fix this sony!!! Release an update!!!!!

The alternate dock is different but not a deal breaker. The ability to have floating widgets comes in handy. Not much to write home about, all told.

My camera keeps crashing. Bugs every day

I'm having problems to refresh Walkman's Playlist. Some songs already deleted still appear in Walkman app, which makes it get stucked in the song that doesn't exist anymore.... Same happens to Album.... annoying... Sony Reader always stop functioning when turning tablet on. Media scanning works badly.... From time to time, SD card is not connected/found.... then I have to reset....

Did the update and guest mode dissapeared. How do I get it back?

The icons disappear when they are saved to your "external" memory option. I don't know why, but those are the only ones that won't stay on the homescreen. The only other problem I have is sometimes the backlight goes completely dark, while I'm in the middle of using it.

Home 4.1.0036 update fixes the "disappearing icons" problem related to user apps that are move to USB storage (i.e., sdcard memory).

No more update since 4.0.3

Best home screen ever.

Piece of crap wiped all of my icons now it looks like i just brought it FU*K IT ALL!

Its excellent but started to glich a little bit
