SwampWater Live Wallpaper

It is briliant with highest quality renderable on my tablet xperia Z2 1080p screen and high dpi. More briliant with different layers on and out of focus. Color setting can't be missing for different themes. And we all love it because there is no special permissions required! If I can do such an app, I will share it without any special permissions requiring too!

I LOVE this wall paper! the little creatures roam around chasing each other all day, keeps things interesting. I can customize the background color to just about anything I want, its great. if I could keep track of them all Id name em! download it, if you dont love it your 6 year old will!

Exactly what it says on the tin. Really nice looking live wallpaper. I would happily pay a quid or two for more customisation options! Perhaps update so that the bacteria is a bit smarter and the microbes perform mitosis? Would love to see some action other than different shapes floating around.

amazing and unexpectedly fast on htc legend, desire x and desire 610, nexus 7 2013. probably the best live wallpaper I've seen on android. BIG thank you. using it for the last 5 years. you could make it a smash hit, make cells chase and eat each other, make them run away from fingers and touch points, also clearing space for interaction zone, stuff like that.

Basically it's pond life under the microscope. Quite relaxing to watch really! I have had this on my S2 for several months now and still love it. I have had other live wallpapers (Galactic Wormhole, Nexus etc) but keep coming back to it. As its free you cannot go wrong realy, go on, give it go...

Hands down the best live wallpaper I've ever had. Heck I've never even written a review for a wallpaper, but this one deserves it. Its calming, the organisms are crisp and life-like, and its great to show off to people. My tablet feels like a petri dish and I love it. Thanks to the developer(s)!

Absolutely realistic and awesome! I had to create a blank home screen, just so that I can fully enjoy it without obstructing widgets. Now let’s hope they all multiply and fill up my screen :)

I love this! They feel like they are alive! I only wish that I could change the size and occurance of them all. The resolution on my phone is so big that they are really tiny . still very cute though! I could stare at them for hours.

not only is it a great lwp but free and no permissions and been that way for years. Ty so much developer. PLEASE ADD COLOUR CHANGE TO CREATURES. I only ever use black background.

Installed app but can't find it's location in phone. In other words, no way to open, choose settings and install. Puzzling.. Fast forward New phone, re-install it, still no way to get on my screen.

I didn't know what I was looking for, but after trying many live wallpapers it turns out it was this. Plenty of movement which isn't distracting, quirky theme and realistic graphics make this my fave by a long way.

It changes to the stupid nexus one when I charge the battery. My other wallpapers don't have the issue. I use this one anyway cuz it's so awesome.

As a science nerd, it brings a smile to my face every time someone says "ewww!" when they pick up my phone. Great graphics & the swamp life swims & irks around with excellent detail. Seems like it uses minimal battery, I see no battery draining issues with my Galaxy Note 3. AWESOME APP!!!! :-)

I change my wallpapers often, static or live. But this is the one I find myself always coming back too. Very very well done, very sharp. Needs more bugs now tho. Top lwp!!!

Very neat concept, I'm fascinated by mic biology. Although the company cells don't interact all that much, it is still interesting to watch. I'd like updates on the wallpaper ;-)

Favorite live wallpaper. Even after my paid ones I still use this the most. This is a free live wallpaper with no ads, no bull****, If you don't give 5 stars something is wrong with you! Please make more, you do awesome work.

Absolutely horrible. I mean the LWP is super, but ugh! It keeps me from touching my beautiful screen, but has proved useful in helping keep my diet :D

This is easily my favorite wallpaper. The critters look just like the stuff in pond scum under a microscope. Yup, I'm a science geek!

Possibly the best wallpaper I've ever had. Though its sad there might never be an update. A bacterium/viral one would be the only way to better it.

Such a great wallpaper! It keeps my screen from looking too busy, and it is fun to watch the little critters swim around. I would love to see a similar wallpaper in the future, but with marine organisms (crab larvae, anyone?)

Feels real, not a distraction, but really interesting, and the colors are nice. Rocking some water blue. Oh and I like that they kind of interact with each other. Maybe I'd like some different specimen groups.

I found my phone staying pretty warm and after shutting everything else off and restarting I guessed it might be the LWP, and it was. This app pulls enough power to keep it warm

This is one of my favorite live wallpapers! ...sometimes I watch it like its an aquarium. Lol. Please don't change anything, b/c its perfect the way it is!

I rarely write descriptions when I rate things, but this beauty takes the cake.. ridiculously smooth animations and it honestly never gets old. No change in battery life whatsoever.

Great live wallpaper, but would be really top notch with more customization options including type and number of organisms, changing the color of the organisms etc

Incredible live wallpaper. I work in a hospital lab, so I find this wallpaper delightful. However, I've never seen any live wallpaper drain the battery this quickly. I wanted to add that if you allowed more customization and added human body fluids/cells and fauna/flora I would gladly pay for this app. Please optimize the battery usage. My phone's charge went down 4% just while I typed this!!!

Lollipop update broke this on my Dell Venue 8 but I loved this wallpaper before that. I hope the developer can fix it. The large worms do not animate properly anymore

This should earn an android hall of fame. Was an early live wallpaper and still the best. Very simple but wonderful to look at during the day. Have on all my devices even though I bought others. This is just so simply perfect.

Really cool live wallpaper.It doesn't slow down the phone and it doesn't seem to affect the batery that much.The only bad things about it imo are the fact that there are no new species added to it from last year when I last used it and that you can't interact with them , like touch one and they whould freak out or something.But other than that is a beautiful wallpaper.Thank you.

Well done, this is brilliant. I love watching the little bacteria mooching about on the screen. It works flawlessly and is a great live wallpaper. You have done a really good job here:)

I've used this wallpaper for roughly 50% of my time as an Android user. Aside from it being clean, simple, reliable, and unintrusive, it blends brilliantly with anything I do to the UI or appearance. However, the foremost reason I love it is because it reminds me to clean my filthy filthy phone. Phones are typically the filthiest object in our daily lives and this wallpaper is like a live microscopic view of the germs and diseases they harbor... So kudos! Someday you should revisit this app now that your skills and technology have advanced.

Microbiology rules and so does this wallpaper. Needs more organisms, though. Maybe some dinoflagellates or a hydra (they are epic)

This live wallpaper is amazing! How on earth did you code such perfect, realistic bacterium? I mean they are animated perfectly, they MOVE realisticly, they even affect each other, like if one bacteria flies by another really quick, it'll make the other move slightly. There's even two layers, one that is slightly blurry and below the top layer. This is incredible! And this was your FIRST android project? You gotta tell me how you made the animations so perfect!

Unbelievably great lwp. First rate job on this as your first program, simply fantastic. Very simple. Uses no memory unlike all these garbage Lwps. Great graphics and neat to watch yet doesn't distract you from tasks..Simple yet perfection!

I love this wallpaper, it's small and doesn't use much battery life but creative and fun to watch, with NO ads. Very realistic, the worm is my favorite. Love being able to change the color! I'm a Vet Tech too and I'd love to see other wallpapers with mites and stuff ... thanks!

This live wallpaper works great, even on my "dinosaur" of a phone. It's totally enthralled and grossed out my kids (a plus) and I enjoy the realistic and somehow calming movement of the microscopic "beasties." I'd love to see more. An ocean version would be neat, with diatoms maybe? And more customization would be a plus, but this is a minor quibble. Thank you for making this cool app.

It's a nice app, and it's not too distracting. It would be nice if there was a way for the user to also interact with the organisms. Like have them move away from being touched, or being able to place a protein "block" for them to eat or eat each other, just something for a little fun. It would also be cool to see other species as well; or be able to choose which ones to display at least. Some fission would also be cool to see as well. Otherwise, as a bio nerd, super nice.
