LCARS FOR STAR TREK FANS ORIG

I've owned my tablet only a few months, so I am by no means tech savvy. However, fan determination dictated that I give this a try anyhow. After watching the video and reading the discription, and applying some persistence, I now have a lovely LWP and corresponding lock screen. I don't have the sound on often, but if I must keep a flip phone with the communicator chirp as a ringtone, I might as well invest some time tomorrow in getting custom sounds for my tablet as well. Thank you so much for this! Star Trek and touch screens are the perfect marriage. Some things are just made for each other.

This wallpaper seemed like it would be fantastic. But there are two major drawbacks to it that make me feel it's unusable. I was seconds late trying to get a refund so I guess I'll have to take the loss, but I guess that's what I get for taking the gamble to be the first to download a new app. 1) The display is NOT fully customizable. The video gives the impression that image of the full body scan and the Starfleet emblem are widgets. They aren't widgets, they are large and intrusive images that are part of the wallpaper, can't be removed, and frankly are out of place and make the whole thing less authentic looking if you're goal is to create an LCARS inspired user interface. 2) A lesser failing is the fact that as of yet the developer does not offer any good resources for icon options, other than the blank picture. So I'd have to use icons from LCARS Go Launcher theme. May as well just stick with that in the first place. Perhaps a full theme, allowing "buttons" and Trek themed icons would be a better avenue for the dev to pursue. There's potential for a phenomenal thing here, but this falls very short.

Love the app and everything. Is there a way to get a few only specific sounds added? It would be awesone if only a few sounds for a few actions

It does exactly what the description and video says it does.

Must have for any Trek head. I was so impressed I bought the entire suite of star trek apps from this dev. Loving it! Crossing my fingers for a theme with lots of icons. ;-)

Where is go after installing I can't open this and not open options you cheet its fake please don't waste the money and time

This developer's apps are superior to all others.  I have them all and my phone feels like a real LCARS console..

I keep having issues of the wallpaper disappearing. I have to keep resetting it every so often.

This is one of the best Lcars app ever. Other people won't use my phone because they don't where the buttons are at. I hide all my icons.

Very cool looking and works well!

I've never set up anything like this on a phone before so it took me a while to figure out setting transparent icons to use with it. It looks great now and has a true LCARS functionality about it. Thank you for this :-)

Couldn't get it to work

Developer does an awesome job explaining step by step what to do to create an LCARs experience on your device. If you can't take the time to watch the videos, download the correct ancillary applications, and create your own app icon layouts, then don't bother with this app and ESPECIALLY don't take it out on the developer. If you're a true star trek fan, then knowing exactly how your system works and setting it up yourself is the only way to go.

This works great, but it's not something you can get set up in a minute. I took my time and watched the videos and read the instructions. I'm not super techy so it took me about 20 minutes to get it set up with all the bells and whistles, but once I did I love it. It's so much fun for a Star Trek fan and now my kids don't know how to get into my phone!

I have a note 3, not only can I get rid of my swipe pages, but I cannot get rid of the primary 4apps and the apps icon on my stock hotbar. Any ideas? Also, I'm not sure how to assign the activators.

I have had this live wallpaper for about a month now, with a lot of playing about with image apps, gif apps, text apps, widgets and a shed load of determination I now have a live wallpaper with 5 screen that all look totally different and that all do different thing with everyday normal apps, plus some really good star trek apps. Really good instruction video done by maker and a defo need to watch! The only thing I have not been able to do is get the sounds on my screen!help with this would be appreciated.

Such a great livewallpaper fits in perfectly with the go locker lcars theme by same author and gives my mobile phone the complete startrek feel to it. The author is very friendly and responds to questions quickly. Highly recommended, cheers and thank you;-)

This is great. Matches the other too. Locker and the sms. How do you get the sound effects to stay on like in the video?
