SHADOW THEME APEX/NOVA/ADW/GO

Probably after the recent update shadow free theme shows 2nd on my battery usage list as 25%. Which is odd and never happened before. Please do something! Till then im uninstalling it.

Downloaded this theme for just the icons but holy cow, it's draining my battery something awful. But I love the icons. I think I'll have to look for another icon set. :(

Absolutely horrible! Loaded with push notifications and a terrible drain on the battery! The developer should be ashamed!

Loved the look and usability, but after the last OS update this started draining my battery.

Absurd battery drain. Over the course of 5 hours, Shadows Free used 18℅ of my battery while the screen, Android system, and play services each used up 6℅. Used to be a huge fan, but there is something very wrong with this app. Also, don't buy the paid version -- maybe just a glitch for me, but only a tiny fraction of the claimed apps were actually available.

Nice icons. Loved the look. But eats away too much battery. It took 8% of my battery for the days usage. Seems high for an icon pack. Kindly look into it please.

These are my favorite icons, but the app uses more battery than my screen at highest brightness setting, and it heats up my phone. I don't know what you changed in the last update, but, STOP IT! Uninstalled.

I'm running Nougat on my Nexus 6P. This app contains some really great artwork but has seriously drained my battery. It consistently uses at least twice the percentage of any other app...and I'm not even using this particular icon pack at the moment! Would be 5 stars but for the above.

I absolutely love the artwork used to create these icons, but the free version contains a VERY aggressive ad program. Prior to uninstalling this, as of 10/31/16 I had banner/full-page ads showing up any-and-everywhere on my phone. Desktop, browser, games, settings. Additionally, the ads are ridiculously persistent (avg 1 every 2 min)

Although I liked the icons and had used them for quite awhile, recently I started getting ads popping up on my home screen, settings page, and anywhere else. Looked at battery stats and this icon pack had caused 54% battery use while sleeping. Uninstalled for good.

Every time I attempt to apply any of the wallpapers, the app stops working. Icons work, but I prefer not to use non-sparkling apps.

Kind of ridiculous that this icon pack drained 20% of my battery in 8 hours. What is it doing under the hood, hmm?

I got no ads in the US but travelling in SE Asia,I keep getting pop-ups while using other apps. Uninstalled

I never gave an app 1-star rating. This will be the first one. Icons themselves are modest and cute. The intrusive ads that are secretly included with them - not so much. Ads are fullscreen and popup no matter what app you're using.

Looked nice but it murdered my battery. I went to check why my battery was falling faster than a skiier being chased by an avalanche and there I see shadow free at the top of the list taking 36% of the phones battery. What a shame

Really love this theme, very beautiful! But the issue I'm having is the battery drain. How can a simple theme app be the highest battery draining app on my phone? Please fix, I don't want to have to uninstall this

I had been using this theme for years without any problems. However, I recently began getting intrusive pop-up ads on my home screen, which were traced back to this app.

I really liked the theme but I noticed a big battery drain on my S7e and it has been detected as adware. The app also requires a lot of permission and I hate it. Uninstalled for good

I liked the icons but having ads pop-up on my homescreen and in other apps is just ridiculous and extremely irritating. Unistalled quickly thereafter.

Better of finding one of those paid ones

Really wanted to test out app before purchasing- liked the look and feel until I started getting pop up ads finally figured out they were coming from app - deleted it - at the very least could have mentioned hidden adware in write up!!

Full screen ads interrupt everything you're doing. Downloads ads in the background draining your data. Do not download this malware piece of trash.

Do NOT EVER download this app. Its behaviour is disgusting. I have spent four days trying to track down which app has been throwing up 3 different kinds of pop ups on my phone periodically. You either get a small finger sized one floating on top and in the middle of the screen above whatever it is you are doing on the phone like playing a game. A full screen pop up, from out of no where, or you get a white out line of an eye on a red circle background. Pressing theses will take you to further random ads. One may give you the option to opp out but that will leading you to a dodgy website that will give you instructions that you should seriously avoid. No antivirus or malware app will find it. I was only able to find it thanks to a system processes app that allowed me to watch what was running on the phone in real time. What shadow theme does, is it turns itself on (probably to see if you are actively using the phone) it then connects to a location in Ashburn, Virginia, USA Lat 39.0437, Long: -77.4875. It then turns itself off 0.5 seconds before the app pops up....EACH TIME! You don't really need this app and you certainly wont need the hassle that it provides.

With no apps running, ads will pop up in the form of pictures or videos. Chewed up my limited data and ended up playing $50 extra in cell data charges. Without warning a loud video car commercial pops up. Wtf. Doesn't even tell you the ad came from this app. Had to delete lots of apps to finally figure this was the culprit. Vote me up to warn of the dev's dirty tricks.

Do not install this app! It's fine for a day or so, and then you start seeing more and more adds pop up on home screen. None of the virus programs can detect it. Tried everything, and after doing some research, it turns out that it was this app. As soon as I deleted it, ads stopped.

Same as others here. Since the latest update this uses an insane amount of battery power. Uninstaller until solved.

I've used launchers and icon packs before everybody even knew what they really were. I've also purchased a couple icon packs that weren't quite as good as this I have a few small reasons for giving it 4 stars but nothing to complain about when given free. This one is actually probably worth buying. So is Nova prime by the way.

Why would you change a good product to be suddenly malware it takes over your screen with ads now really annoying when on the phone and you try to hang up. Do not down load

Was great until the update, now it uses way too much battery probably because it is putting up constant ads on the Home screen making the phone almost unusable. I love the look and would be willing to get the payed version but i can't be doing with those ads! The ads are not mentioned in the paid versions description so I am not willing to risk paying for it! Dev please update us with this info?

I've used this app for almost a year and really liked it. The recent update however now has it using almost 40% of my total battery. My phone is always hot and can't keep a charge for most the day. If it's going to render my phone almost useless I can't use this. Please fix! Uninstalling until battery use changes, too bad I can't go back to the old version.

In the beginning it was great to look at then the ads kept popping up every time I wanted to make a call, go on social media, search on Google, etc.!Not worth the battery drain and definitely not worth the aggravation of constantly seeing the pop ups!

After last update, it's just don't allow to do anything smoothly. Ads keep coming in between your work. I don't want to uninstall it as I am addicted to it from long. So if you help to fix the issue that will be great.

ADWEx, can't actually use almost all the icons. No interface for changing individual icons. You can preview them though, that helps me get annoyed. Fix your app and your English while you're at it

Had to close an ad just to use my keyboard to write this review. It was blocking the keyboard, Uninstalled!

This thing drained 35% of my battery today for no reason and the app has never even been opened. Quite suspicious - no thanks.

Started getting banner ads across my home screens and even my apps. Traced it back to this one. In order to "opt out" you can either d/l an app or give them your EMI & Phone Info. Might as well wrap it up with a nice bow and mail it to them. What a Shame!! It really is beautiful.

A LOT of intrusive, full screen ads out of nowhere. While I loved the graphics, this kind of app has no place in the store. After months of having it installed, it started generating the ads...
