Granular Immersive Mode

This app was the best way to fix the lg g6 from forcing you to see status and nav bar all the time! I tried buggy free versions of other apps, but they are not good. This is initially challenging to set up, but the dev will help you if you reach out to him. (Key windows users: after installing platform tools, you need to hit shift + right click in the unzipped folder to open correct cmd prompt. Support was great! Finally, take advantage of that full screen!

App is superb. Very easy to setup via adb and simple to use. Only issue if they when you are in full immerse mode the keyboard covers the input box so you can't see what your typing. Only workaround I could find was to leave the status bar visible so I'll have to settle for thay I guess

I haven't bought an app in years. But i had to get this because it doesn't run on background. If you don't know how to grant permissions, thankfully, there's helpful forums found online about this app... To the developer/s, I wish you'd make similar apps like "Rounded Corner" and "Navbar Apps" that doesn't run on background ????...

The app works perfectly... Special shout out to the developer in walking me through the setup... That itself is worth the 10 stars... We need more people like him in the real world in customer service. Keep it up!!! I can't wait for other products u might have...

Thank you, I love this! I was using the Tiles immersive mode but I hated how I would have to turn it on again every time I turned off my phone even though I only used it for a couple apps because it was trying to conserve my battery. This is perfect and exactly what I was looking for. The only thing I would like to be able to do is enable it for the home screen, but if that's not possible it's already good enough for me.

Works nicely on LG G6 paired with gesture navigation. Can't tell if my battery is being drained faster than normal while using immersive with the screen off. Does it disable immersive when the screen is off to prevent the android battery drain bug? or should I need to switch back to an app which is set to not be immersive, e.g. launcher. Hopefully Dev can answer :) 5 stars if it circumvents the screen off immersive battery drain that you get with other methods

It took me a solid hour or so to figure out how to use the adb tool and such but once I got the permissions, works perfectly. Finally, the extra screen estate on the LG g6 isn't being wasted on those navigation and status bars! Thank you for making reading on my phone so much more pleasant!

Brilliant does what it is designed to perfectly. Two mins worth of fiddling with adb commands and you are good to go. Wouldn't be needed if programmers we're better at their jobs. But to fill the gap this is the perfect tool

Great app, really takes the Pixel 2 XL to the next level and makes the screen really pop. I have applied it to all my apps and I'm having zero problems. Money well spent.

Works really well after the fiddly adb command. I have it enabled for all apps and now it effectively mimics the 'auto hide navigation bar' feature from my old Samsung S8.

Works well with all the apps I tried till now. Just one note: in the (Permission) page, if you can remove the dot (.) at the end of the ADB command line (the dot after SECURE _SETTINGS) Many people by mistake can add this dot at the end of command line & they won't get permissions cause it's not correctly written.. remove the dot at the end of command Small note: some apps like (WhatsApp & others) needs to restart phone for the immersive mode to work - for me as a No-Root user, stock rom from Sony, Android 7

This app is the best at what it does. Well done, Dev! The only real feedback I can give you is to make it easier for people to figure out how to configure ADB. Maybe write a short guide with pictures and links.

Impressive app... Unable to see text area on Instagram while typing, also unable to rply smiley on WhatsApp status.

This app works perfectly for me! It really makes my screen feel so much bigger and more absorbing. Definitely the best app for enabling immersive mode. Great job!

Great app, love being able to only apply it to certain apps. Finally can enjoy the entire screen without the wasted space. Did take a bit of time to figure out how to grant the permission for the app, but definitely worth it. Also would like to add great time response for any questions from the developer and is happy to help answer any questions to assist in giving the app permission. Great app in my opinion!

This app is excellent! I was trying to figure out how to get Nova Launcher to go full screen. Then I discovered this app. Super to get rid of the soft keys and have actual full screen! And it works for any app! Thank you!

I can't for the life of me figure out how to make this work. If any other payed app asked me to start dealing with code, I'd say "go to hell", but I decided to be a good sport on this one. Spent forever going through the steps aaaand... it doesn't make sense. Takes some nerve to ask people to pay for something this clumsy.

The real deal. If you are using GMD, buy this app now! Instructions to grant permissions could be more detailed and UI is confusing but app works very well.

Does what it says it does, but it does NOT work for full immersive mode for the Essential Phone.

Great App! After seeing how iOS uses the X screen for immersion, I noticed Android with permanent status bar is really missing out on this. This app enables same immersion. One request: it would be ideal if we could configure immersion mode per app, not overall - some apps need permanent navbar, some don't. Thanks

A great app! Just what I was looking for! However when just hiding the status bar, notice that it cuts certain elements off from some apps (i.e. what's app, when the keyboard opens it partially covers the send button, same for Allo) Not a biggie, just thought it was worth mentioning! Keep up the great work!

Excellent app. Immersive mode with per app setting and not running in the background. Just what I wanted. A feature request would be to have a "Select All" button, so I could have the option of immersive mode by default and turn it off where I need to on apps that cause issues with it

Great app with a very smooth and clean UI. It does exactly what it sets out to do. I even wrote a guide with a recommendation to it on an audio forum. However, I did run into a fairly glaring problem in that my soft keyboard no longer works when I need it to pop up while using an app in immersive mode. Is there a way to resolve this?

Best application for experiencing immersive mode in Android. The best part...it doesn't run in background unlike other apps. Worth purchasing.
