Unity Launcher Free

I loved this launcher on my old rooted Nook Color with CM7-- Now I have a Nook HD+ and it just crashes immediately. This really made android look & feel a little like Ubuntu Touch, and kind of satisfies your twitch for Ubuntu Touch. Even though it crashes for me, this is a great launcher, and I recommend it to anyone! (Awaiting the first line of Ubuntu tablets)

The app is really good. But I found I problem in tab it is coming on half screen.if press home or back it comes full screen... plz fix this waiting for update.

Takes getting used to.. You have to find out the exact spot which does not come in the way... Wud it be possible to give an option of no of rows we want.. Like if I want more than one row so that I don't have to scroll down so much...

I understand its free but it disappears all the time and I'm a very busy person, it helps in so many ways you wouldn't believe.. That being said please make it to where it will pop back up after exiting an app and opening my phone to use it.. Please help or I will look else where thank you very much

Needs two things a setting to disable when certain apps are being used (games). Also when I hide my statusbar the unity launcher does not fill the gap. 5* anyways

App is the best in all sidebar but problem is after rebooting or switching on phone the unity launcher does not load app icon on sd card and shows error app is on sd card plz mount sd card but the sd card is mounted allready and app is working normal by starting normally from menu.

This app looks nice, but both of my antivirus said it was classified as malware, so uninstall it and get as decent antivirus and scan your phone or tablet just to be safe. Other than that, it looks really nice.

I click on the app to open it and it immediately crashes... So if you fix this I will change my rating but until then it's a one star for me

The hotspot keeps moving. I set it to be on the side and it moves to the top corner.

This has been a must have for my phones for some time. Extremely convenient. It allows me to be efficient while having a very minimal homescreen. I love having a torch short cut on the bar. My only real gripes are that I wish it popped up instantly instead of being animated one app at a time. It's still fast, but it could be faster. And the spacing is off on the Note 4. Sometimes, it glitches and I can only see the top half of the bar but it's rare and easily fixable. Worth trying.

It doesn't work on my HTC desire 510 rooted with nonsense ROM 1.04

At first I did not think much of it but after a few days I am using it all the time. The hidden side bar is such a useful tool. I find all my most used apps on it.

I just upgraded from the Galaxy Note 3 to the Note 4, and Unity Launcher no longer works. I can get into the setup but as soon as I press "Pin apps to launcher" I get, "Unfortunately Unity Launcher has Stopped. Uninstalls and reboots don't help. If there an incompatibility?

I love this app... I just wish it wouldn't require constant relaunching in order to use it.

After going through a lot of free options, this one is the one for me. Really appreciate the work done by the developer. Just two request. Custom icon size and accordingly the width of the bar will change. And keep the application free as long as you can.

I tab at the edge the bar pops out n stays. I can swipe up n down to select my apps where as glovebox is a one swipe action. Making it harder to select the app you want when release your swipe

At first, the function was glitchy ie the bar would not activate on gesture. But have messing with the settings, seems to work just fine. Great ap, a must have for anyone that needs to jump from one app to another without having to long press or minimize all windows.

Would get five stars if I didn't have to redo swipe edge settings with every app update, install, or deletion...

It crashes as soon as I start it.

will lost apps in the pin list also the hot spot is changing to default all the time. please fix

Absolutely love this app. Only one thing. Please be able to use various icon packs for the applications. Please think about it.

is this a feature that im supposed to pay for or something? the other widget work but not torch.

I love Ubuntu and can't wait for Ubuntu Phone, this is a one way to feel it closer! P.S. Ad a gesture across screen to go home! PLEASE!!!

Nice app ! Could have been better with visual or tactile feedback of the item pressed !

Very good. But there are some bug: can't sort items & it can show when use keyboard. After all it's the good one sidebar launcher, and it's free. :-)

dont crash , smooth , fast , perfect app

Gud bt need improvmnt.place a arrow indicator.when touch the arrow slide bar will show like s3 and note.automatically strt option when restart the phone.

Force closes often

If u don't like Gimmicks,then this is it.

Even though it would take ages before we can actually taste actual Ubuntu on android phones, couple this with the live wallpaper and lock screen app seems satisfactory. Kudos

I've tried a few, like that I get to keep my existing launcher. Best of both worlds.

Upgraded to 4.3 and now the launcher crashes! Been on 4.3 for nearly a month now. And still no update.

It works really good. Only 2 issues, if you use non default setting for open it, it does no respect that when first started, once open one time it fixed. 2nd if you choose to add an app and press cancel it crash. Other than that perfect

The sidebar doesn't reach the bottom of my screen and do it looks ugly. Great functionality though. Sidebar pro looks good and has much the same function except no ability to add shortcuts, which sucks for a heavy user of tasker. I'd give this app 5 stars and definitely buy if it looked better. It would also be nice to resize the bar as I have big clumsy fingers. :o)
