Awesome icons

I loaded a theme on ny Note 7 and decided I didn't like the icons. Nothing I tried would let me get back to the default icons. I paid for one icon app that was very hard to figure out and limited. This app is free, but I barely notice the ads. They aren't obnoxious like on some apps. This app lets you choose from your photos, take a picture with the camera, leave some the way they are while changing others, and even has a theme you can choose to use for some apps but not others. I'm blown away!

I didn't want to deal with launchers and whole theme changes; I just wanted to get rid of the hideous and gigantic android default icons. I appreciate that you can choose any style for any icon but I wish there was a quick way to make all the icons one style (if applicable.) In other words, set a new default style. Solid app though. Compatible with every icon pack I've been interested in.

Helps customize icons on launchers like the Google stock or even Touchwiz launcher. Only minor gripe is sometimes hard to get at parts of icon packs (seems to only make part of them available). Must have for customizing Pixel or Google Now launcher though.

It's really good for ppl wanna use the original launcher. But I would be much more better if there's a search function by names of icons or base color tune or some what. It would make it much easier to find out other opportunities for ppl who wanna customize their icons. Thanks alot

I love this app but recently it can make my System UI and Home looping forced closed until I restart the phone. I noticed when any app updated and icon revert to default, after restarting the phone following the system force close the icon will be changed back to icon that I set.

Absolutely great, works with any launcher. There's only a few small issues, 1. There no search function anywhere to find the icon you want. 2. Not all of the icons are visible when manually selecting under icon packs, not sure why, possibly a glitch.

Really easy to navigate and compatible with a lot of icon apps out there. You can rename your app anything you want. If you don't like the default icon chosen for you, manually scroll thru and choose which one pleases you.

Love this app love that is has dark mode. Only issue is due to other apps. I love to remove app titles so all I have is icons on my home screen, no messy tiny text littering everything for no good reason. Now my problem is after an app updates it reverts the title and sometimes even the icon. Which means I need to play this game of guess which app needs its icon renewed everyday. I want to set it and forget it.

Amazing App. I gave it 4 stars because I think it should take advantage of Android 7.1 shortcut options when you long press. I like to long press my apps and have the little options pop up for each app. Hopefully in the next few updates. Other than that this app is amazing!

I hate apps that auto refresh whenever you rotate the phone! Whatever is showing on the screen should remain there, whether the phone is rotated or not. That is so annoying to me!

Works great but breaks App Shortcuts in Google's stock launcher on Android 7.1 and 7.1.1 when you change the icon of a Google app. I give it four stars for now. Maybe an update and some additional tweaks would make this a Five start app and I would be happy to change my rating.

Original review: Phone icon simply won't change. I have no clue why, but whether I use a picture or an icon pack, the phone icon will simply not change. And when everything else is lovely and uniform but that one rather important thing isn't, it really annoys the heck out of you. :(

It only shows the main icons and not the alts. I want to have a green switch on a gear for my settings icon and not the normal "blue circles" on the gear.

I would give this 10 stars if that was an option. I put this on my tablet which I've kept "stock." Everything about this app is a positive!! You can mix & match icons from different packs or even use a pic as an icon. The only drawback (if you can even call it that) is that you can't change the size of the icon. But I can get used to that. It's easy to use right "out of the ☐" doesn't take up a lot of space".. & best of all no root required. Thank you for your hard work. Excellent for enhancing the look of my Xperia Home screen! Only issue I've had is when choosing neon icons as can be difficult to see on the app's white background - perhaps include a dark theme?

I think the idea of the app is awesome, however there would needs to be more directions. Or a trouble shooting list. My htc10 says the shortcut is created, but I can't find it anywhere. Would give more stars if it actually worked for me. Figured it out! Had to get rid current theme. I feel stupid. Great app!!!

I bought an icon pack which I can't use because I don't want to switch launchers. Thought this was the perfect solution. Well l have no idea how to apply icons. There are no instructions anywhere and the best I can tell you have to assign app icons one by one. Well who has time for that? And even assigning them one by one didn't work

Creates a shortcut for an app, and puts it on the home screen. If you've got an icon saved, you can change it to that. The app doesn't provide icons. But that's fine. My only minor complaint is that it doesn't actually change the apps icon, it just creates a shortcut with a custom icon.

This was the only app that I could find that changes so icons without having to get a different launcher. It works well and does what I want it to. The only complaint I have is that it can be difficult to find an icon if I want to use an alternate version. If a search bar was added it would be great.

This is app is nice. However has a glitch that should be fixed. I'm using some icons from an icon pack. The problem is that the icons don't get badge notification in general (the little number in a circle saying how many unread items there are). Sometimes they appear for some apps, but even if I read them, they don't go away. Pretty much a mess with this. If this is fixed then it would be a great app.

simply pulls up a list of all your Apps, select the one you want to change, tap the name to edit or the icon to swap out, and badda-bing badda-BOOM new shortcut appears on the home page!

Best feature is able to select from different icon pack in a organize manner. Other icon changer app like Icon Changer and Desktop Visualizer mixed up all the icon in one place. Good work!

Been using this app for over 2 years now, and it would be even better, if the developer would add a few additional premium features, and design and develop a pro paid version, with a backup custom icons backup & restore feature, etc. and a few more premium features, like a favorites custom icons app drawer, that you could just drag 'n drop all the best icons, from all the best icon packs & keep a favorites icon collection, and slightly update the professional user interface that the developer designed!!

I'd we had the hold down/pop up menu like 7.1.1 nougat then this would be perfect! I know it's new but something to consider

Is it possible for the message app icon to have badges? I know they used to before Nougat. It's annoying it doesn't.

I love this concept. However I'd love if it had the ability to show unread/notification badges. Please let me know if the that's coming up or if I'm doing something wrong. Thanks!

Dreadful piece of programming. Shouldn't be allowed on Play Store (Google take note). Doesn't work with standard Samsung Touchwiz launcher, used by millions. Completely wrecked my phone by replacing every icon and app title with the Awesome Icons name and icon (wish I could post a screenshot so you could see)! Still no fix from dev. Avoid if you want to keep your hair.

I have a few apps with similar icons, and I ALWAYS open the wrong one. This app fixes that, and, as best I can tell, doesn't use up memory or battery running in the background.

I've been having to use Nova Launcher instead of BlackBerry Launcher because I like using Chompsms but I can't stand the ugly app icon. I was able to make my own icon but wasn't able to get the notification Splat when I had a new message, anyways I stumbled across this app and to my surprise it's what I've been looking for, it's amazing!! I get to use my icon of choice and still get my notification splat. This app is the #1 app on Google Play period..

Would be much better if we could customize any icon on your home screen. Including websites you've made an app from. Would rate 5 stars if this was a feature.

Best app of it's kind. Accept no substitute.Let's you use icons with transparent backgrounds, resize, crop and specify on which screen launcher you want them to appear.

Upgraded to Nougat last night on my s7 Edge and although the icons are changing the unread badges have stopped working, I have emailed the developer and they said that currently they are not developing the app, that's a real shame.

I love everything about this but there's one huge problem. When I turn my phone off then back on, some of the icons go away. I try to add them back but it won't let me. Please fix this. If it's not fixed I might have to delete the app. The shortcuts for some apps don't know up on my screen. Is this a known issue?

When I create an icon to replace my Phone icon on my HTC M8 the new icon gets confused and only opens my contacts list while I'm on a phone call. For some reason the only way yo get to the current call screen I have to use the original Phone icon. Any ideas how to get the new Phone icon to replicate the original in total function? Would be easily a 5 star app without this issue.

Great way to change and customize icons to new android version, works with just about all icon packs, or create your own custom icons with out running a data eating, ram killing launcher app. Great customer service, had a issue received a reply answer back.

I created icons from pictures in my gallery. But I can only use them easily when the launcher is One plus launcher. When I use Google launcher it has issues displaying. Please fix for using with Google launcher. I would like to submit my lovely screenshot.
