Earthbound Battle Backgrounds

Tried on a nexus 5 and it crashes when I try to set as wallpaper. It would be nice to get an updated version that supports newer phones

Edit 2: I found an app that is superior to this one called Abstract Art (named after the enemy in moonside). I dont regret purchasing this one, but I feel its time to move on. Edit: Does not appear to function on the Lollipop version of Android. I will retain my five star rating for a brief while in the hopes an update is on the way. ORIGINAL REVIEW: Had Giygas as my background on my old flip phone, and found this app by chance when I got my Galaxy S. Now it's animated!

It's too laggy to be a paid app. Selection is also glitchy when you select combinations and then numbers.

Its not that bad and also its a tiny bit laggy but its still good.

It crashes immediately, and I am unable to use it at all on my Moto X 2nd generation.

As a huge Earthbound fan, this app is a bit of a letdown. The frame rate is awful, and the biggest resolution doesn't even cover my entire wallpaper.

Very nice. Would be perfect if it had options to save background combos and have randomly generated ones at set intervals (every hour) etc.

It keeps saying I havent payed for this app but I have.

Slow on my HTC EVO, even after frameskip changes. Impossible to choose meaningful background combinations out of vague list names. Needs improvement.

For my Droid it runs choppy and not really how it looks in Earthbound. I hate to refund it, because it's such a cool concept. :C major sadface

So much potential. But it runs very slowly choppily on my Droid 2. I wouldn't mind it being slow if it was smooth. Refunded.

Great application for any earthbound fan, it brings you right back to 1995!

I love this so much. It would be fantastic if there was a way it could automatically randomize the background every hour. This brightens up my day. :)

Fantastic visuals, but animation could be smother on HTC Raider/Vivid

It's pretty awesome. Obviously, you need to be a huge fan of EarthBound to really appreciate this. It is a tad bit laggy on my Nexus 7, but it's still worth 5 stars. I do wish they would add a feature where a random background would show every day.

Originally this app wouldn't work on ICS/Jelly Bean. That has been fixed. The only thing keeping this from 5 stars is that some of the backgrounds aren't seamless. You can tell when the animation ends and loops. Other than that it is a nice slice of nostalgia. Worth the price now that the ICS/Jellybean compatibility was fixed.

Great live wallpaper! So many different options!

This is a great live wallpaper for the Note2 I love it to death! I have the devil's machine as my lock then the battle scene following!

Now that the app has been updated for ICS, there's no more black screen and it runs flawlessly! Great live background for us nostalgiaphiles and Mother/Earthbound fans!

Was such an awesome live wallpaper but now that I updated my phone to android 4.0 all it does is give me a black screen. Please fix!

Needs an upgrade to work with ICS! It worked amazingly until my provider pushed my update, and now I'm stuck with a very blah black bg. Otherwise a perfect app.

Great for mother fans. But seems to drain my battery faster than any live wallpaper ive used. Otherwise I love it on my HTC Incredible S.

Awesome idea, but just get a black screen on Galaxy S II Epic 4G Touch and DRM won't let me run on my tablet (ASUS eee Pad Transformer)

Doesn't work on Nexus S with ICS.

Unfortunately, nothing but a black screen and an unresponsive settings screen on the Xperia Play.

Only getting a plain black screen. Refunded.
