Northern Lights (Aurora)

Now with Christmas lights?? Wouldn't believe this could get better??!! Best LWP! I don't need to head north now!

Wallpapers are beautiful wish there were more to choose. I only get 1 wallpaper and its the same as the one in free version. How do I access others.I uninstalled and reinstalled the paid version and now I have the different wallpaper and features.

Fantastic wallpaper

I lived in Alaska, Iceland and Germany for years in the U.S.A.F., and I miss the wonderful auroral displays. While no app will ever equal the real thing, this one comes close! The only thing I would like to see added is the ability to use your own background image, or more stock images for background use.

The effects and color choices look great! The only thing that would be nice is more realistic looking backgrounds. I only found "Forest" and "Lake" to not have that cartoon feel.

I've been using this for a few years now and I never get tired of it. Never found a better one. Definitely worth the meagre price to buy the ad-free version. Just a tip for those not happy with the resolution/quality, I had the same complaint until I got a new tablet with a much improved display and it's even better than before. I'm now using this on a 10.1 inch tablet and the screen size has not brought down the quality, indeed, it's better than on any device I've ever installed it on. So, like most wallpapers, the quality can only be as good as your hardware. It's not down to the wallpaper in this case. I'm also super happy to have a wallpaper which doesn't require additional permissions.

If they had a new one I would buy it, it is so awesome! This is my favorite app ever I can't believe the artwork and all is functions I wish there was an update hint!!! hint!!! Stunning....for those who may never get to see them in real life...this is the next best thing. This is a beautiful wallpaper that's fun and easy to use. I also would like the option of adding the moon (and it's phases!) and the Milky Way as additional customization choices on all of the backgrounds. My faves are woods and lake...most realistic in my opinion

I contacted the developer and will revisit eval once the problem is fixed, if I is fixed :-/ Developer answered fast! it was my mistake. The images appear not as expected by me in an app but instead in the live wallpaper section with settings.

This is actually a LIVE wallpaper with options to change the light colors, frequency, density, and also the background scene. I've had it on my phone for over a year...Nothing else has really come close. All the other "live wallpapers" I've tried are just pretty pictures with sparkling "dots" floating around. I think this is an amazing re-creation.... even though I haven't seen the actual Northern Lights, I think this app has done a wonderful job to simulate them! Would definitely recommend that you try!

It's a beautiful app. Only thing it should have is a random selector for the background every few hours.

I love Aurora Borealis. Just hope to spend several moments for real watching it. Hope that more HQ photography will be available in the future. ☺

Agree with Bruce Buck. Lake and forest are gorgeous; cabin and ice a little hokey. Mount McKinley might make a nice option. On the lake scene, the water should move a little once in a while; not a duplicate of the sky. No permissions, no ads, no spam. Installed on Galaxy Tab.

Just bought the full version, Ryan! I've been so happy with the free version that I decided to "go for it"! Loving this one and all the options even more! I have mine on the lake setting - for now! I love that and the forest, and I like the ice, as well - but I agree with the others who've said the cabin's kinda hokey! But still five stars, all the way! Thank you again!!! You ROCK!!

Doesn't ask for ridiculous permissions when installed. Has a "grain" to the lights on my Note 3 as it's a pretty low res, but still the best aurora live wallpaper out there! Just needs an update for higher resolution... Please dev, this is the only live wallpaper on the market that's actually good, give us some more pixels :-D

Beautiful live wallpaper. But it's been a while since the last update though.

I have this installed on my galaxy tab 3 tablet which is installed in my Acura in the dash in place of my stereo and I use the tablet to run all audio/video/4g-internet and this background makes everything look so much nicer, I use purple and blue with the lake view which reflects the sky off the water. ( the pic on the app page under the install buttton is the background I use) this is the most realistic northern lights that I have found out of several others. You can speed it up or slow it down also.

I matched my colors to the exact ones I saw in Iceland. Wish I could choose multiple color schemes to change between.

Go to your phones settings, display and change the wallpaper in the 'live wallpaper' section. It wont show up anywhere else. Why do people keep thinking otherwise? Nice wallpaper though.

This is so realistic and soothing. It could almost be a video recording, it's that good !!!! And well worth the couple of bob it costs for the extras. A few extra backgrounds wouldn't go amiss though...... Otherwise, ELEVENTEEN STARS ✨

I had the free version but decided to get the full, sooo glad I did. It is so calming, and I need calming!

I like the tree and lake scenes. More options for more realistic backgrounds would be awesome. I'd be more than happy with in app purchases for them. It's a beautiful wallpaper though.

Finally upgraded after having the free one for long time, well worth it. For the price though, a few more backgrounds to choose from would have been good. Maybe also give the option for automatic changing light colors at set intervals. This is still the best and most realistic Northern Lights live wallpaper out of all the other ones.

Would love to see more color patterns, random patterns, option for no background or custom background (but the 4 includes complement the display very professionally)... Terrific live wallpaper!

I switch my background all. The. Time. But then I found this one, and I haven't switched from it for months. Never had a glitch never once had a problem. I used the free version for a long time, then finally purchased the full version. :-)

I had this when I had the Galaxy Note 1. Pretty cool to use it again.

If you like this type of scene, then it's an easy decision. Quite simply, this the best wallpaper I have seen.
