[Deprecated] Layers Manager

New to RRO/Layers, but not to CMTE, I just got this, tried a couple themes and customizations, and I'm loving it. Works like gold on Pure Nexus for Nexus 6 (Shamu). Customization is significantly more flexible than CMTE. Not sure why I've been avoiding the Layers builds of PureNexus as opposed to CMTE builds.

Is it possible for my phone to use it I root my phone but still not working please help me After applying theme it reboot and take long time to start but no effect. This app for particular phones or for all android phones please let me know thanks in advance

Stock rooted HTC 10. Loaded a layer pack and made device virtually unusable. Couldn't get into settings of anything. Even the Manager crashed after the pack was installed. Not sure if it was layer pack or the manager allowing applying of layer to the world but recovered deleting all overlay apks in TWRP. Low rating because of weak warnings in the app and because developer would rather berate people because of poor ratings than assisting. Will never install another app from this developer for that alone.

Really don't get why developers don't mention in the name of their app, which device it's meant for. This seems to work mainly on Nexus devices and should be explicitly labeled as such. Stop wasting people's time and data on nonsense. If you create an app for a market, mention it specifically and don't pretend that people are at fault for being confused. Stop scamming people!

Amazing idea, but crushes everything. totally crippled my device, Power button stopped working - every click sends the phone for a soft reboot. Unable to call, sms, almost every app opened is forced closed on spot or worse - starts another soft reboot. Too bad, i was really waiting for an app like this. OPT + 6.0.1

Love when people can't read instructions and furthermore refuse to admit to their mistakes. I'll admit I messed up badly with Layers once because I was confident in my ROM's ability to support it but I know better now. That was my fault though; still a huge fan of you, dev. Great work, functions flawlessly now!

Layers app is great, Got one of the fellas over at androidforums to actually confirm this is working on ZTE Grand X Max+ We all know Nexus people are something else, Just saying

Using this on a rooted LG Transpyre which is basically a toy I keep mainly to make W-Fi calls in an emergency via Google Voice (it has no active sim). I expected problems but app works almost perfectly. No bootloops. No crashes. No slowdowns. The only problem I have encountered is that, unfortunately, the settings page will not theme no matter what theme package I download. Everything else themes, though without causing any problems. This worked much better for me with Busybox installed than not.

Im using purenexus on a 6p, installed the spectrum theme and rebooted. Now most of my apps, including phone and the layers manager app just crash!

Need help Sorry to bother you again, Can you tell me if I can install substratum theme engine on lollipop ROM if I have layers support? Can't download because it's showing my device is not compatible error. Need help. I flashed back ROM that support layers theme. I really want to try substratum.

This Is a Really Great App I absolutely Love themeing My device. I laugh and feel bad for those who brick their phone to try and use this But Be more careful and learn more its really as easy as doing a Google search. also I have but one question Can Layers Actually Mess up A boot menu because I read that some people say layers is the problem But when I hold the power button to open my power menu it just soft reboots Also I have flashed other layers and it didn't have this problem.

I love this app, but I've been trying to find out whether or not it supports touchwiz based roms with no custom recovery. I know that this app is fantastic as I've used it on other phones before and I'm hoping that I can get a confirmation of it either working or not working with touchwiz roms.

Launcher3 overlay seems to be crashing launcher. Theme works perfectly if I just dont apply Launcher3 overlay.

I was about to flash yet the same ROM again, cm 12, not until I saw the power menu

Is this app compatible with Cataclysm ROM. If this is helpful, I am using Nexus 5, rooted and installed with Cataclysm ROM. Can you advise?

Not compatible with all Roms and phones. When in doubt, get a nexus and stop bitching to the dev. Also, most of your issues would be from the theme developer themselves, not Layers.

I've used layers for years now. Works on many stock lollipop roms depending on your device. Obviously it's intended for Custom Roms but I've had success on a variety of LG phones as well. Amazon products too. Kindle Fire, etc. Enjoy it.

For now I prefer Layers over Substratum and CMTE. Since most have moved on to Substratum, I'll be using this with stock ROM. A lot of the Layers that I use haven't gone Sibstratum, yet. I'll be using this app for a while

Any theme results in a phone with nothing viewable, all I get is wallpaper and I end up having to use a backup. Terrible

Too good than cm engine. Like it a lot. One issue but not a problem. After installing overlays if i press the power button to restart, it takes too long to restart. But its not a problem. Lik this a lot.

Don't download this app it crashed my Micromax E313 my phone never start.i will ask Bitsyko Development to give me a smartphone for free if you give me smartphone I will Delete this review

My phone won't work after I installed an overlay and rebooted it.

I'm having so much fun with this! I've been using it for a while now, and never had any problems so far. Inbuilt reboot option is handy.

Because of this app my mobile not able to boot.I gave it to service center all because of this buggy app.Please don't download it.

It can boot loop if you install multiple layers on one app... otherwise excellent. Install multiple layer groups to customize almost every app on phone

This app is fantastic, I use it with my 6P, it works perfect. Don't punch your pillow because your phone/rom DOESN'T support layers. Go buy a nexus and enjoy what we enjoy. Thanks Dev! Btw, love the sarcastic responses to idgits. Keep them coming. Lmao

I really prefer Layers over CMTE and this app is fantastic, it offers everything you need right there to pick and choose themes or parts of themes, and inbuilt reboot feature is nice when extended reboot options aren't available, never had any problems with it that weren't my own fault. 10/10
