Simple TV Launcher for Android

Excellent app. Using on Nvidia shield TV. Exactly what I was going chainfire's sideload launcher would become. Seeing the dev so active responding to comments made it well worth the 99¢. A couple minor suggestion (from a shield TV experience). Selecting menu items, the highlight color is nearly the same as unselected. Also, when choosing the apps to hide (great feature btw), it does not remember them the next time I go to hide more, and end up having to reselect then all again.
Great app for organizing sideloaded apps. I am running this on Shield Android TV which is running 5.1 Android TV build. But you can't seem to change the wallpapers. Please fix this!

I have done away with the terrible launcher on my mx pro TV box and now use this. It is simple, lightweight and easy to configure. It would be nice to be able to resize icons to my desire or have supersize icons on home screen. Thanks for a great ap
App works fine for the most part. The youtube kids app crashes when trying to open in it for some reason and the ability to set a wallpaper doesnt work on my nvidia shield tv running 5.1 - it pulls up the screen where to crop it but there is no way to submit and eventually it gets a gallery has stopped working error.
Thank you for the quick response! And yes I'm aware of the refund policy, but that combo'd with you can't refund twice, just means if I want to check back later, it will be permanent. Anyways, your quick response was well worth the $1, so forget I mentioned that. I initially suspected ES was the root cause of it, and I'm not sure what might be a better solution, I'll do some searching myself, but none-the-less its still a real pain installing apps in the first place, so having a cropper built-in would be excellent. And as far as the UI goes, simple and minimal are fine, but that still leaves a lot of room for improvement. Maybe I'm just too used to customization via Nova Launcher and such. Do you have aspirations to improve on this anymore? Like customization options, maybe simple things like weather, transparency, etc?
02/10/2015 - Thanks! I updated my Nexus Player with version 1.3 and I was able to hide all the apps that were not needed. This makes it very easy for my entire family to use. I increased my rating to 5/5 stars!................. Previous review............... The original inspired ChainFire Launcher stopped displaying some updated apps. This one works great and functions exactly like the other one. 4/5 because I was wondering if there is anyway to control which apps are displayed by the launcher? When hold the "select" button down on top of the app icon displayed, it just takes me to the "settings/apps" menu of the player. I would not like to see some system app icons show up like "Google Japanese Input".
No easy way to get back to stock launcher if you set this one as default. There is no way to get to the "clear defaults" screen. Needs easy to access settings. The wallpaper button just brings up am error "no application available for this action".
Works perfectly, thanks. If you could also add categories that would be awesome.
I know it is supposed to be simple but can you add a clock at the bottom right corner? Or at least an option for people who want it? Thanks for acknowledging the suggestion. Also, is there a way to include the Google TV Chrome Browser shortcuts in the apps list? When I create the shortcut, the browser says that it created the shortcut on my Home Screen but does not appear on Simple TV Launcher.
