Flow Home (Beta) for Android
I love this new concept for a launcher and the animations when you scroll and stuff are very nice! It would be super nice if you could connect to a youtube feed or something to get video suggestions or stuff like that instead of just articles and tweets. Looks great so far though. Also persistent notifications can be swiped away with this launcher which is weird. And please make it so that a second icon pack can be set for missing icons, or an option to manually choose an apps icon from any pack installed.
Needless to say, the most striking feature of this launcher is it well designed UI and its social media function but it is not enough. 1.)I did not use much social media and considered those feeds as distraction for my productivity. I suggested that we can set widgets page to be the main one instead of social feeds or we could be more customized for the homescreen. 2.) for "app search" I want to just search by the first letter of each app name or 3.)replce it with alphabet slide bar app drawer
I dislike how theres no option for facebook or instagram yet they are the leading social media apps and also just a small improvement to make it the widgets. I think that it should be possible to insert them without needing to press the middle button and leaving it there with the setting botton visible ( just a small tip) otherwise a very amazing launcher
As of now most people are used to scrolling, whether it be on facebook, Instagram or somewhere else. It's a genius idea to bring this functionality to a launcher. The app needs improvement it's a bit battery heavy on my device (being a beta and all) and more comprehensive integration with popular apps, however I am seriously considering setting FlowHome as my default launcher. Props to the developers! Keep improving FlowHome!!
Nice concept, but need more work.. You must add facebok and other services, i think it should work like rss feeds. For notifications there should be option to keep them on screen until you click "i was read", or some box.. Also when feed is empty, we dont need text - ("your feed is empty"), and blank image.. You need folders in driver, so that user be able to sort aplications there.. And for widgets, what's the point to have widgets if they are hiden? Anyway nice concept, and i hope this will be best launcher...
I turn in my phone to look at my social medias anyway, and this makes that both easier and nicer looking. I love this launcher, and it's still in beta, so if you download it and it's not perfect be patient. It is good to note that even though it does work with Twitter and I think three other social medias, as well as reading your notifications to you, (great for YouTube updates) it currently doesn't support Facebook, or Instagram. I hope that changes soon.
Great launcher experience! Android definitely needed this kind of refreshment. Beautiful themes and all you social media updates and notifications in one place! So creative!! Maybe include a way to quickly scroll back to the top on the home screen? Sometimes I find myself lost in the millions of posts
I really like this app and it's feed style display. Although it needs integration with facebook. Widgets arnt movable, so you have to add them in order. Works well with live wallpapers so that's cool since i have parallaxing ones. Right whether widget at the top doesn't display an icon, still clickable though but invisible.
This is the best launcher, but is not working really good for moments. Will be really good that we can add widgets and have more sincronization with other social networks like instagram, or facebook. Also I think that it can handle notificcations from sms or calls or even whatsapp. I really enjoy the app. Sorry for my english
It's a simple minimalist style, which is a new concept for a launcher. I like the idea of notifications appearing on screen. I have two points, however. I want to apply Icon Packs that are available in store, I don't know which icon pack is compatible with this launcher. Please suggest. Second one is a suggestion, it would be great when you touch the left bottom corner of the home screen, a bar would pop up with recently opened apps' icons.
This launcher is one the best looking ones out there but I really want an edit apps feature. On another launcher i would hold on the icon and an edit feature along with things like uninstall app info and so on. This is really important because my icon pack has an icon which fits my bus times app perfectly but it does not use it for the app.
Let's not talk about integrations APIs, but for this app to succeed, it should balance it's focus towards both info and apps. The execution of widgets is really impressive and similar amounts of work should be put towards apps - not just shortcuts! They are essentially the soul of a smartphone and although Flow Home puts info front & centre, apps are not just info-based and many of them are utilities. People need an organised access to their tools and simplicity does not justify the lack of folders!
There seems to be a problem with it opening Gmail app. I'm using the ZTE zmax pro. Other than that, it seems to be amazing in its functionality and great design and concept. Love its feel and stylish aesthetics. Will give 5 stars when fix bug not allowing Gmail to open. Keep up the good work.
I know that the launcher is still in beta, that's why I'd like to give some suggestions for additions that would bump up this review to 5 stars: 1. Resizeable app drawer grid. It would be so nice to set it on 7x5 or something like that. 2. An option for choosing custom icons for apps. 3. An option to toggle on/off the wave effect while scrolling through the app drawer. 4. Support for more social networks (i.e. Instagram, Facebook...)
Enjoying this launcher.. Congrats on this idea you really pulled it out. A simple app that lets you know what's happening on your other apps without making you jump from one to another. Although I'm waiting for my next update because from time to time keeps crashing. Another suggestion would be in the app drawer it could have options for my recent app instead from a to z . It would be a lot easier .
i think this launcher is GREAT. please please PLEASE dont ever stop improving this launcher!! i love the concept you guys made and its even in beta??? woah this launcher is amazing guys!! please improve it i really really Reallly fall in love with this launcher.. the concept you guys make and the view how you wanted people to see and feel is just so fantastic. 5 star from me, still beta and its good! Keep do what you do! NEVER STOP!
Encountered no problems so far, was a very clean and enjoyable experience. My current home screen. Only problem is that it is missing some features. For example, who uses Twitter nowadays? Oh my word. Facebook please. Themes are very nice. I would like to see more customisation, but it's very good. Keep it up! Hope to see a RC or a final soon! I will definitely keep using this!
This app started off great. Seriously one of my favorite launchers. Then it all went to hell after a few months of use. It really sucks because I truly liked the concept and idea. Just crashes 5 times a day with no fix in sight
Bug 1: After Opening widget menu then closing it, you can't refresh notifications. Bug 2: After having a so amount if notifications, it only shows 1 and when I swipe to remove notification, 1 more appears after. Feature 1: Add a bounce when you scroll to the bottom of all your widgets. Feature 2: ability to move widgets please. Feature 3: smoother widget editing animations
I think this app is amazing. It's smooth, responsive and beautiful. Everything you need is easy to access. However, I do want to point out the fact that there isn't alot of support for social networks. Instagram for example is something I use quite often and it's sad to see that it's not supported. Other than that this launcher is really great
I really, really, really like it. A lot. It's simple, minimalistic and it feels smooth and fast. The only problem I have is that I don't think social media should be in the main screen; or at least not the only thing. Stuff like Whatsapp or Gmail should be able to appear in the feed instead of being a secondary widget. Apart from that, I gotta say I love this launcher.
I love the concept of my posts on my home screen, but I want more services like instagram and Facebook because I usually use those apps and want to see them on my home screen. ☺ UPDATE: I found out that fb and instagram doesn't allow 3rd party access which sucks :/
Is this app still being developed - I haven't seen any new additions or improvements for a while? I really love the design of this launcher. It looks stunning! :) A feature that would make it that much better is to have folder organization on the app screen (or even just being able to sort the apps into categories so that it's not just a massive, random list). Great launcher, otherwise.
Whilst this is undoubtedly the finest launcher out there and I am sticking to the 5 star, it does appear have an issue with Nougat. Since my phone update the launcher has crashed many times. Appreciate this is still in beta stages but definitely needs to be updated to accommodate the new OS
It's an interesting concept for a launcher. I like the idea and look of it. But there needs to be more things go link on your feed. Like Facebook/Instagram and some type of news feed so it's not only social media accounts. I know it's in beta so hopefully they'll be more added soon.
This is by far the best and most interactive launchers I have ever installed. It would be nicer if we got to add more than just Twitter and Tumblr. And if we had the chance to edit the size of the icons. Other than that its all very amazing. Love it.
I really appreciate the new concept of this launcher. Practically the best, yet to be perfect. Here are some stuff that needs improvement.
Great app for individual feeds on your homescreen. Custom Wallpaper doesnt work, only live-wallpaper work and cant be disabled anymore. Full stars when this is fixed and an option for no (black) background would be desireable for AMOLED displays.
I really like the look and flow of this launcher. It just desperately needs support for all the other social media and news outlets for me to want to use it. This would be one of the best launchers out there if it Incorporated/synced with all the other stuff.
I had tried Flow Home before the last update came in October. I loved it, but sadly I had to uninstall it because it used to crash a lot. I had hoped the developers would come up with an update soon. A year later, here I am, loving the new update so much. It's beautiful, doesn't eat a lot of my battery, and it works perfectly for me. Yes, Facebook and Instagram were rolled back, but my Twitter, Tumblr and Reddit feeds work just as fine! I also the love the notifications right on my screen. No more swiping down from the status bar to check notifications. :D It's staying as my permanent launcher. Thank you, developers, for this update. I hope there will be more updates in the future. I hope you won't have to take the app down from the Play Store. I hope you guys stay. I hope this launcher gets more popular, it deserves so much more attention. Thank you guys.
Never used third party launchers but Flow is so cool. Just read their latest tweet and so sad to see the project ending, please don't give up guys, this is the best app I've got ever and wouldn't uninstall till it ends or revives, keep up the awesome work. Cheers!!
Need to include Instagram and Facebook. And homescreen, folders, dock and feature to customize individual apps icon. However, since its still in beta, it really awesome. I fell in love immediately after installing. Keep up the good work!
Can you delete the notification image of showing us that there's no notification at all on main home? It distracted my home screen. Also please make the feature to quote the tweet right through the home screen. And it will be pretty for us to be able to move up and down the widgets
The devs of this app are going places! The app is only in beta but I hope in future it will support Gab (which is going to eventually overtake Twitter hopefully) and Facebook. My only complaint is currently it only supports social media and 'most recent' apps on the homescreen. I was hoping to add permanent apps onto the home screen. When that happens it will be amazing.
Good launcher. Beautiful design. I'm not sure if I need my social media constantly thrown at my face lol. And to those saying it needs instagram. Instagram doesn't allow 3rd party I think. The launcher should have a cooler app drawer. Or maybe apps around the feed in between.
Honestly, This app is insane. Just the sheer looks of it and the ideas put into it make it amazing. Some suggestions would be for the Play Store, Spotify music playing, Instagram, and maybe some more choices on the widgets. Can't wait for the updates and new features. My thanks go to the devs
Crashes upon launch after its initial app installation. Several other home launchers at least let you load them fully. I submitted a crash report so hopefully it'll improve and I can give it another chance later.

A few suggestions. 1. Disable long press on tiles for popup menu. When im scrolling i usually put my finger on the screen. I dont like invoking the popup menu. 2. Change opacity of circle menu background. 3. We need white or dark gray minimalist icons 4. Fix icon arrangement of circle menu and not position by queue 5. Top part needs more details. Maybe add fave contacts or be able to display latest messages or emails. 6. Weather isnt working 7. You guys need to make a lock screen.
