This is a Wallpaper and not a normal App! Activate it by pressing the "Menu" button and selecting "Wallpaper" and then "Live wallpapers".
Note: there are compability problems with Android 4.0 and higher. These should be solved for the next version.
Due to the realistic graphics, this is a very memory hungry wallpaper. Before buying, please keep in mind that it might not work on weaker devices.
Solar System 3D Pro provides the following features:

- Watch asteroids zipping by
- Make the Sun evolve to a Red Giant and finally a dying White Dwarf as the battery becomes weaker
- Set the age of the Sun
- Watch spectacular plasma eruptions of the Sun
- Look around by sliding with the finger over the display or by using the orientation sensors
- Automatic camera movement (speed can be set)
- Move from the inner to the outer planets as the battery becomes weaker
- Random change of object every half hour
- Change planet or activate the orientation sensors through double-tap on screen
- Real star background from Milky Way panorama
(Note: For artistic reasons, the objects are not to scale. Also, not all moons are included.)

I've had this background for a year now, and I've refused to change it to anything else. =) it is definitely worth every penny. i only have one issue- i think i have a 'texture problem' as well. a big weird colored circle glitch shows up all the time, but after a while it comes back.... its not that bad, i just move the screen and it kinda goes away. this is just an FYI for the next update. PLEASE FIX. this is great for anyone who loves space, like myself. GREAT JOB. =)

Honestly, this is exactly what I was looking for in a live wallpaper. It's stunningly hypnotic, it doesn't destroy the battery and it's well worth the price. Not only does it show each of the planets (as well as Pluto and the asteroids) but it also animates the Sun through its life. You can watch it turn from a brilliant young white sun into today's yellow star and then evolve into a red giant before shedding it's outer layers and shrinking to a white dwarf. I only have one criticism - the random planet feature doesn't seem very random - and I would have two suggestions - 1) have the Sun evolve as the time allocated to each planet goes down and 2) have an Explore feature that allows you to freely roam among the worlds.

This is a beautiful app to look at and very interesting to look at. My only problem is that it seems to clash with nova launcher. The tap twice to change the planets is the same as getting the nova settings page. Also the panning is a little jerky and too quick. I love it anyhow just wish it were smoother

I would like to have the ability to alter the apparent size of the moons of each planet, from point size to oversize. I purchased this wallpaper primarily to show my appreciation to the Developer for his amazing 'Mobile Observatory' application; possibly the best free app in the whole Android Play Store.

It's rather pain to look at it due to the extremely jittery movement of the objects. Please polish. The Solar System HD De Lux Edition that uses gyroscope looks way better with its 3D effect. I regret this purchase. Samsung Galaxy Note 2
