About Nerd Alert
nerd alert allows an android user to customize notifications on incoming sms messages. you specify a regular expression and if the body of the sms matches the expression, the notification you specify is executed.
it also has a regex matcher feature to test the regex pattern against a string.
time ranges can be specified so that the alert is only active within certain hours.
notification styles available are:
* vibration via vibrate patterns
* ringer
* status bar
* message forwarding to another phone number
* speaks text message body if bluetooth a2dp or headset is plugged in
vibration is customizable by specifying a comma separated integer string that corresponds to the number of seconds on, then off, then on, then off and so forth.

Does what it says it does but needs a few more options. ability to filter by contact or keywords. ability to define catch all default notification. ability to stop processing rules if a rule is matched. nevertheless will continue to use it. unfortunately i now get two notications for some messages - the default notification and the nerd alert notification.
