Give your phone or tablet a FreshCoat of pixels with a custom wallpaper! Set you background as a solid color or choose from a list of effects to add to your color. See any colors around you that you love? Use FreshCoat to set colors from the real world as your devices background! Choose a custom base image from you gallery and build effects on top the images. There are endless possibilities to create a wallpaper fit for you!
Create your own color using either a RGB color code, a HEX color code, or by choosing from a color chooser dialog.
Choose from a list of effects to add on top of your colors! (Email me with requests to be included in future updates)
Use your camera to capture any color you see around you! Center the desired color in your camera, and shoot! For best results, use solid colored objects and good lighting. The color will only be as accurate as the quality of your photo.
Choose an image from your gallery and transform it into a custom wallpaper with effects, blur, filters, and 8-Bit Retro!
Once you have completed your creation, simply hit the checkmark in the top right to set the image as your background, or hit the save button to save you image to your SD card for future use or to share with your friends.
Choose from a library of included colors! Categories include Material Design colors, Google colors, popular social media colors, popular company colors, Motorla's MotoMaker colors, and NFL, MLB, or NBA teams.
If you would like to unlock more effects and remove ads, search "FreshCoat Premium Key" in the Play Store!
Note: Every device displays colors slightly different. For example, Samsung devices (Galaxy S Line, Note Line, etc.) tend to have more saturation and Nexus devices tend to display colors more naturally. This may cause variances in the predefined colors (in the "Library" tab). If you would like to change the way your Samsung device displays colors you can do so in: Settings --> Display --> Screen Mode.

There are some nice effects to choose from. You can use pics from your gallery or use a solid color background. This app really has a lot to offer but I really wish there was a way to choose multiple colors that you can blur together. Update- most of the saved images look really low-def, especially compared to the originals

Tons of textures, colors, options, etc. Allows you to make exactly the background you want and VERY easy to use and learn. Purchased the key for even more backgrounds. This app is addictive! Big thanks to the developer for this one.

Too few color in a wallpaper (at most there are only 2, one for the base color and another one for the effect). It's probably fine for some effects but when we're talking "Material" 2 is not enough.

To start with, you should have good pictures in your gallery. I didn't. May be I wasn't too creative, but it should have a center gradient and should add a feature to add texts with good fonts to choose from. But developer did a good job ! Please keep making it better. Thanks !

This is a great wallpaper creator.. Just made the wallpaper which i had not found anywhere on the internet and it looks beautiful on my phone!

There is a lot to like about this app. The only disadvantage is this app does not have a setting that allows you to choose the directory or filename to save your wallpaper into. When I press the save option, it says it is saving to sdcard/Freshcoat which is on my device instead of my sd card.

Tons of options.Never get bored with your background again. Wish I'd found this app sooner. UI could use a little facelift or at least a dark theme but it works perfectly & is simple. I'd pay for this easily, but it's free so you've got absolutely nothing to lose.

The patterns aren't what they're suppose to be. Leopard is a flower. Polka dots is a bee hive pattern etc.

I think this app has much going for it as a dynamic custom wallpaper creator for Android but it was a little glitchy and crashed several times on my Samsung galaxy note 3 so I removed it for now. I'll install again in the future and hopefully it would be more stable.
