Blur turns any image into an iOS 7 style wallpaper with one simple control. Choose picture from gallery and turn it into awesome colorful wallpaper for your Home screen.
The basic idea of this app is to blur picture to the extreme and flatten out it into a nice colorful background for your Android device.
Using blur you can create customized wallpaper in three very simple and straightforward steps.
1. Crop image
2. Apply blur. You can drag the seek bar to the left or right to increase or decrease the intensity of the blur.
3. Play with colors. Swipe up on image to change colors. You can individually control the intensity of the red, green and blue color in the wallpaper image.

It stretches pics to crap. My HD wallpapers end up looking blurry before I apply the blur so the colors don't end up as vibrant as they should be...I know this prob sounds ridiculous since this is a blurring app, so the colors are going to fade, but using different apps that didn't make me crop the pic turned out much prettier. I'm using the unlocked version & still feel like it needs more options for blurring & cropping (maybe not zoom in so much?) And It should let you choose the save directory.

I downloaded this app thru AppGratis promo. I like the concept. It does great with scenic, sunrise/set, or horizon pics. Abstract pics also do well with this app. I like the color picker and filters. My only suggestion would be a quick tutorial. Unfortunately, the crop & zoom did not work for me, but I liked how the pics looked anyway so I really didn't need it.

Crop does not show photo nor allow drag area. Can click through to edit but default/wrong area of pic. Show/drag area works on Nexus 7 4.4.4 but no zoom/resize crop area. No spot nor gradient blur. I would like to add my own/more textures. Reassessed as 1 rather than 2 whilst writing review. Fix and I'll re-rate.

I can't believe there is no single app which can do blurring good or as I want. This app beats them all. With every other app you will see some or severe quality drop. But this blurs picture as it should be done. Smooth and without any noise. Best that at least there is one app in Play Store which performs upto my expectations. Edit: I agree with others about crop problem. Yes this app won't give you full freedom about cropping an image. It won't show the full picture but a bit zoomed in part.

It works but is simple and inflexible. There's no way to save your creation. There are other free image editing tools that do more. CORRECTION: Edited pics show up in gallery. Adding a star.

Dear Kasumbi, why do I have to crop my image first?? Is it such a technical challenge to run a blur on a full-scale image or do a resample first if size is a computational matter? Please allow the user to choose between re-scale and crop. I only gave 3/5 due to the good quality of the blur itself. It looks smooth rather than boxy, but please allow for full-frame blurring.
