To use this you need a custom rom using theme engine, like CM, AOKP, Paranoid, Carbon, etc., so , yes, you need to be root to use this. This theme is for Hdpi/Xdpi devices runing.It changes system and many other apps

I like the original theming, but the shade of purple is way too dark. Also I like using the circle battery indicator which is not themed.

Really good theme, as always is the case from this developer. Good on appearance and low on battery consumption. Just one request, could you pls make a Blue version of this Noir theme. Pls..!

Never have a problem buying your themes. Such detail. Would love to see the call screen themed. Or at least have the colors match instead of the holo blue.

I always love to support awesome themers and developers. Joshua really takes the time to put out great work and listen and respond to comments, suggestions and/or critiques. I've been loving the original Noir so far and this new color is just a gorgeous play on an already beautiful theme. He truly has an eye for color and design. Keep up the great work!
