Fancy Switcher

Never thought I'd replace a switcher on Android unless it was through Xposed but this one changed my mind. Works faster if launched directly via gravitybox or other navbar tweak than its own native way of replacement though, given the way I use it. Wish OEMs would give choice of recent switching method after having this.

All it needs is the ability to select different styles based on the device's orientation, like portrait=Android Lollipop / landscape=Coverflow. EDIT: I was able to use Tasker to monitor the screen rotation and edit fancyswitcher_preferences.xml before Fancy Switcher loads. But now that I'm actually using this app, I've noticed that pressing the back button reloads an app if the launcher is the only thing running. It can get annoying.

I would like to give this app *****. But it force closes when I run with the Lollipop theme which was one of the factors in getting it. There also is a very perceptible lag when opening the recent app view. Please fix these issues. I know Lollipop is coming but I root and use custom ROMs frequently so I will support the Dev.

Exactly what I was looking for. Hate KitKat & Lollipop Recent Menu. This gives grid formation, just like Gingerbread, but with thumb nails. Also get Samsung Touch wiz like RAM & Close All features, on any device. Swipe left to swap between 2 apps is really convenient too. Plz update for 6.0+

Adds the 3d task manager that some Android phones didn't get from Lollipop like the Note 2. However, it does have more cool features, effects and option. Well done!

I use this as a recent apps replacement so I can see them in a grid layout. I do occasionally see the native recent apps sometimes before it loads and it can be a little laggy. The one feature I'd like to see added would be the ability to sort the recent apps by those which are active or in the order they were opened or last used.

The stop is great but come on I have to at least 3 dollars for a WALLPAPER!!!! And the whole over riding original task switcher is cool but it doesn't delete apps till about 10 minutes after I dismiss it. Good start but bad finish.

Lolipop theme is crashing away, each time i on the switcher... Plz get that fixed... Again , even though i have closed all the apps. But the icons still persists. Get them fixed and i shall give u 5 stars

I have a problem, so this is it am in an app when I open fancy switcher recent panel to scroll through the app that are in the ram, say I want to exit the fancy switcher recent panel when I tap on the background, the fancy switcher recent panel and the app an currently in closes altogether. Please fix this issue to make tapping on the background close only the fancy switcher recent panel. Thank you. I welcome a response and follow up.

Nice app. Specially because of many different styles. But some bugs can be improved. 1 : Settings icon can't be removed 2 : Apps can't be opened from recents bar. Please fix these bugs to get 5 stars. Please....

Put an "x" on each thumbnail so we can close the apps quickly. Let us lower the row in cover flow view so that it's easily reachable. Let us have a grid view where we can choose the dimensions of rows and columns, and where the grid is centered: e.g. center, center-bottom, etc.. Thanks.

I'm using note 2. These sam. Idiots give us this unwanted menu buttn and skip the launcher bttn.thank 5o this app I can switch btwwn apps easily

I like the Lollipop Recent App View feature.The speed of execution can be improved upon though. But all in all its quite a fancy app. I like it. Can't wait for further improvements .

It look easy to use but it isn't. Or its just me. An app should be good enough. for everyone to use. I'd rather stick to my own default switched. May not be fancy but it sure is simple!

I love the lollipop style of switching apps. This works like a charm. Swipe to switch between switches between two apps only. I will appreciate if it switches between all apps like windows tab

I have a samsung galaxy grand 2 and whenever I open the app it force closes. Please fix this bug as soon as you can or ill be forced to give this app 1 star and uninstallation!

This app works really good... If you guys will make us available it in style of iOS and blackberry it will be the best.. And of course 5 stars..

I'ved switch from a custom ROM which is based on Lollipop, I heard that they already ditched the recent app in 5.0.1, so whenever I holdpress the home button, it doesn't show up. Thanks to this app, I can now made sure that they are not running in background and I can quickly switch to other app, great UI too. Kudos devs.

One problem. Not working. it's crashing. I love the idea of it to become a native app or say replace the default recent screen. I hope the crashing will be fixed soon and Native app is Improved.

When i clear the apps.... its clear it...... But when i open recent app ( fancy switcher ) the app still there.... Plss fix ....... And time for the recent app to pop up take 2 or 3 second. Moreover can you make the statusbar transparent.... And the last one when i use " {Beta} default switcher " it works but it will open the old recent app first then fancy switcher..... Hope you can fix this problem #Use root permission

I love how you can over-ride the default task manager but it's slow. It makes simply switching between two apps annoying and makes me want to throw my phone.

I can't change background color.......nor use my system wallpaper as background .........nor transparent background works......plz. Fix it

There is a app "Setup" that keep coming whenever it close, i need to turn off "show recent apps" to make it gone, but i like to keep it. The beta override is working but when i press the switcher and then press it again the switcher not closing which should be. Good job anyway!

The app is so good its look like lollipop, but add a wallpaper in background and remove the trash bin on screen! Thats will be so cool rrrrrr please i will buy in pro version !

Gives a lot of customization settings. It doesn't work well on mid-range phones (and lower) because the system recent apps loads faster.

Best switcher ever, protip: reboot after installing!! A suggestion: Make another icon for settings, and allow us to remove the button on the switcher, it'll look cleaner that way.

Reason for four stars is because there is no wallpaper background setting please add to the original too please instead of just in the gold version

Make it like recent apps if possible so it can remove from list that has been opened

Facing apps kill problem. Once killed but when see again these not killed and appeared again..

Well, I've tried it but there is a bug I've encountered. When I replace this app with my native recent apps and I closed my apps through Fancy Switcher and I open my recent apps and saw my apps still showing there! Please fix it!

Good app. Works well. Sometimes it's slow. Or restarts the app you want to return to. Would be 5 stars if the app swap notification was given maximum priority to stay at the top of the notification list

It has some issues like it doesn't kill the apps when I swiped which is alone bummer for me, also out wants to much money for iap and it is buggy etc etc. I think developer stil needs to do more work on this app...

It looks great and I was really excited to use it but as soon as I tried scrolling through the recent apps it made my phone lag like crazy, even after I exited the application. Edit: much, much better

Its so good so good but it misbehaves sometimes -- it gets laggy for a sec. So take care but otherwise its great

I downloaded because i broke my S5 and got a hand me down S3 and was going crazy because it look3d so much like S5 but with different functionality. The task switcher was a major factor, and Fancy Switcher helps. It cant separate my Chrome tabs like Lollipop, but visually it helps greatly

Please add xposed support so that it becomes more perfect and responsive when overwriting default recents app.
