GO Locker - theme & wallpaper

Loving the new customisation options! Relatively new user. Noticed a tiny lag occasionally when playing fullscreen games such as Asphalt 8 but not constant & hopefully this recent update has fixed that. So far I'm DELIGHTED with it & it was FREE! Go on. Pretty up your phone whilst adding an optional layer of security & do so much more.

Worked great until an update made my wife's Nexus 4 notification count for SMS keep going up! Uninstalled & reinstalled. Couldn't find the butterfly theme she had. Went with another theme...the counter was still there unless I switched back to messaging from messenger to open up the texts. Then I couldn't change themes. No themes appear anymore! I checked on my Nexus 5 & now it won't let me change themes either!

I found a major flaw using CoolLight theme... If you have notification home button enabled, you'd be able to draw notifications from the locked screen giving access to switch panel where access to your wi-fi, mobile data, airplane mode and system settings is granted free... Tested both Go and system screen lock.. System disables all but 'back' notification buttons, while Go leaves a wide open back door

It's an amazing app all through.. Beautiful themes and customisable features. However, and I'm not sure if this depends on the type of phone or Android version, the lock function needs to be snappier! Also the app fails to automatically guard the phone right after a reboot. You fix these, you got your 5 stars!

Jan 2017 update...Haven't been able to make my own locker screen since May 2016. 11 July 2015 update....Still no update on my prior request and now they added advertising on unlock!!!! Dropped to one star. Stopped using, next step is uninstall!!! Will wait to see if an update happens SOON.

The app seemed good at first. But then I noticed certain flaws such as delay in sound during lock/unlock. The locking mechanism does not work always such as while unplugging charging cable, etc. Also, only the default theme is good enough. The rest of the themes are just average and below average.

Very lovely, the best of its kind. But I noticed lately it's like there are fewer themes than before, or not good looking. Please add more themes. I've been trying to find a new good looking one to change the current I use, but can't find anything good :(

Was a fantastic app untill I unlocked my phone to a full screen timed volume on ad. Will come back if ads are ever dropped, but untill then what a complete waste. If there was a paid option to drop ads, I would very much consider. The very last thing I want is intrusive ads.

March 2017: works better than before. Much more improved and stable. 2015: Every once in a while system locks up and I had to restart my phone by disconnecting the battery every time. Extremely annoying. Update the soft please. We need more stable software not more themes.

Completely stopped working! Always says error occurred wont show any themes at all, my installed themes or playstore Themes page is blank in settings! WTH? I've used this for years and it's been awesome, now nothing. ????

Almost perfect. What would make this 5 stars is a proper integration with music controls. Currently there's a floating button that anchors to an edge of the screen which looks terrible. I should be able to wake my screen and see the controls... Not have to press another button to see them.

Great Locker for my Note 4, but facing few difficulties with the app. Golocker automatically unlocked my phone leaving it unprotected, and right when I unlock the phone, it starts playing ads and random pops show up (I understand I'm using the free version), I wouldnt mind if the ads were occasionally showing up when I was using the phone. Great app overall!

Normally I'd give this a five star rating, but after the latest android update, Go Locker doesn't work right anymore. It comes up as a black screen and I have to hit the home button on my phone to bypass it since nothing is visible and I can't unlock it normally.

I like it. I haven't had any problems at all with it on any phone I have used. Second review: Love it use it all the time it is easy to use though some time theme might be hard to install on it. Please don't ask me to rate this I have 4 times and it's always the same I like it. Thank you.

Everything is good, except sometimes the locker won't work, and when I turn on my phone, it immediately goes to my home screen. To fix this, I have to open the app to get it working again; this is an issue that happens every now and then.

So far so good. But something is missing why only the swipe up option we could use even slide left and right pls add different options for swiping. And also while setting gesture of we do not draw exactly it always says wrong. So pls fix that too only than I'll date 5

Aweful. Waste of my time. It flashes your phones home screen or whatever you were doing last on the phone before you locked it before it ahows the lock screen revealing your privacy. Takes longer to unlock phone because second step added have to swipe lock then input pattern where factory lock screen you can just put pattern in instantly in one step and unlock. Terrible dont get hopes up this will be any good Id stick with another or factory lockscreen

This still doesn't have fingerprints for Samsung Galaxy s7 edge? What a shame. CM locker have fingerprint and Go locker still haven't develop fingerprint. That a shame. Also the music player suck. Like can you download app like cm locker and compare it.

Loved it until I started getting full screen video ads with audio that couldn't be dismissed for 5 seconds. Unacceptable and since I can't find any option to upgrade to an ad-free version, uninstalling.

Galaxy s4 active, non-rooted works great. Prior to downloading this with the next launcher I tried the Nova launcher and another highly rated launcher but both start consuming battery like crazy and started slowing my phone down considerably. The moment I had downloaded this app and the next launcher it spend my phone up like crazy and ran phenomenally. Very impressed and highly satisfied.

I'm really not happy bout this... I have a 2yr old son who likes to play with my phone. But I found out this morning that if it's on the charger the lock pin screen doesn't come up. If we can fix this soon I'll give it 5⭐... Right now I can't do it and I'm not sure I'll even keep this installed...

Update- The only way to truly enjoy this locker is to purchase the VIP status. I still would like a better theme selection. So far the 'free' themes for this app have come at the annoying price of ads and continually added icons to my screen for games i will never play.

Badly need a delay lock feature with the security options, so that I don't have to give the password every time I put my phone on sleep.

Every time I unlock there is a brief period where you can see the previous screen. Unacceptable for 15 USD

so far im satisfied???? BUT my phone is lagging, slows the performance, crashes and kinda draining my battery..that's the only things I don't like about this app I don't know why you guys you do this app but slows the phone it's not helping. The app is superb no doubt I like it a lot but I have no choice to uninstall and find another app that won't slows the performance of my phone.

Too many full screen adds everytime you unlock your phone. Simply put there are far too many alternative lockers that are add free and even work better. Additionally, I noticed that this locker interferes with my phone's native ability to fast charge (LG G5). That alone is a deal breaker.

I've been apart of the Go Locker team for over 2-3 years now. All of a sudden this past few months.. full screen ads. What's going on, Go? You used to be the best and now you're turning into garbage like every other lock screen. Don't bother install unless you love ads! This app is no longer worth it, full page ads appear when the lock is in or not in use. I've had the ad pop up while innocently browsing my Facebook!

The Go Locker is a virus and phishing product. It comes from a source in China and have been sending mail out in my name to my friends, be aware!

Honestly, I think I should have really given this two stars, but all in all this app is fantastic. However, there is a MAJOR bug/glitch. When shutting down and turning back on or restarting the phone, the lock screen is skipped in its entirety. Rather, I am taken straight to the home screen, as if the lock screen never existed, and the phone does not lock until either I do so manually (by locking it with the power button) or the screen times out and goes into sleep. This is a major security flaw, because if someone were to get my phone, all that would have to be done is restart or shut off and turn back on the phone, and they can get into the device easily. I know that this is not just my problem, looking at other reviews. This seems to be a recurring issue for many people. This alone is my reason for not giving it five stars and instead giving it three stars (and even then, I think it is a big enough of an issue to give it two stars, but I was generous).

Edited to add: down to one star because the freezing has gotten worse. I've had to restart my phone 4 times today. It's absolutely ridiculous and you'll never hear from them about fixing it. Too bad, because it is lovely. Beautiful, but not functional. It's easy to set up and nice to look at, but once a day it freezes. No buttons, no way to back out, no way to close it out and bring up my actual lockscreen. Pressing buttons does nothing. I'm stuck with a frozen screen, and no way to unlock it. The only thing I can do is restart my phone. Like I said, it's beautiful, but this freezing problem makes it entirely not functional.

I always use the "GO" apps. I have used them now for many years. I'm glad I found them. I have tried to use other apps that do the same thing but they don't run as smoothly and easily. Thanks y'all! Keep up the good work! :D

The themes in it are downright sucky, if not that then it's all bloody paid even as it says it's freaking free. I uninstalled two times already. No fun at all.

Please i'd really give it a 5 ☆ rating but the only issue i had that when i deleted one of the themes that i previously been using,and going back to the original default theme,the geture unlock seems so buggy and it's shapeless,please fix it,and when using another theme i just find it normal :3 I really like your locker,though continue your hard work.

I love this app yet yesterday I realized some moaning audio was coming from my phone and later on a Dragon Ball audio, on info it redirection to the app. What's wrong with you guys, how can i delete those audios?! Please help.

I've tried a bunch of locker apps and this one is one of the better ones def in the top five. I can't decide which one of the many I've tried is my favorite but go locker is def up there

Buggy. Doesn't have landscape mode which forces rotation locks and other issues. Slows devices down way too much.

Only lockscreen that let me have music control like in pre-android 5 on new android 7. Please include custom lockscreen message like in stock android and maybe if possible have music control be able to be visible all the time instead of pop-up circle. Thanks for the work. Well done

I've bought the VIP as I have a custom theme to later realize that it doesn't have fingerprint or iris recognition. No tutorial on how to replace the default home screen in the latest Samsung Galaxy series smartphones. Until this is resolved it's pretty much useless if security a must.

It runs in background and sent the dock icons and desktop wallpaper in front and stay behind, unless I minimize an app before it works normal as auto start, but the custom lockscreen live wallpaper accessibility is OK
