About ManyTones: Ringtone Randomizer

Automatically shuffle your favorite ringtones, notification alerts or alarm sounds each time you get a phone call, receive a notification or your alarm goes off! Quickly and easily convert any existing audio file on your device into an Android-compatible tone! ManyTones does all the heavy lifting for you.

[features]
-> STREAMLINED INTERFACE: ManyTones features a unified, clean, no-frills UI that won't leave you scratching your head
-> TOTAL CONTROL: Three separate, toggleable categories -- ringtones, notifications and alarms -- along with the ability to select any sounds in their respective folders make it easy to define exactly what ManyTones can and cannot do
-> CUSTOMIZATION-FRIENDLY: ManyTones only affects default sounds, which means it doesn't overwrite that custom ringtone you might have set for that special someone ;)
-> NATIVE CUSTOM TONE SUPPORT: Choose any supported sound from anywhere in your device's internal storage or SD card, whether it be a cool new ringtone you downloaded from your mobile browser or a funny clip you put together yourself on your computer, and make it an Android ringtone, notification alert and/or alarm sound instantly -- no manual file moving required!

It works but it seems like every day it also gets stuck on a sound and I have to reset it to make it work again. Really frustrating. It it didn't constantly do this I would give it 5 stars.

N70%
by N####:

There's this thing when I enable it on accessibility though. When I'm on my home screen and flick to a page, this voice plays saying "page X of Y". It's really annoying and I want to disable it. I'm on an S2.

Z70%
by Z####:

This is one of the only apps currently available that actually allows for the randomization of notification sounds outside of the AOSP SMS Messaging app. This means I can get randomized notifications for Hangouts and TextSecure at the same time, which is excellent! The only issue I'm running into is hearing the same sound more than once consecutively, and I'm not sure why the audio isn't cycling. What exactly is the trigger for cycling audio files? Is there a way to make sure it always happens? Is there something I can adjust or do myself that would make it more consistent?

Hell no! Mama raised no fool! I've tried many randomizers before never has one told me that the data that I typed including credit card numbers will be or can be collected, hell no!!

nice to finally find what im looking for. can i suggest something like psuedo-random chance where sounds that have been played recently have a smaller chance of being played consecutively? maybe have the chances reset once it hasnt played in the next 5 notifications? also maybe a playlist option where you can force sounds to play in order? other than that, my only real concern is the accessibility... u seem like a trustable guy, but u know the internet....

Great app..! Works exactly as it should. Though it should probably document that it only hijacks the default notification. So it doesn't automagically set random notifications system-wide... Which is a good thing, but got me momentarily with Google Hangouts, where you need to set the notification sound to "Default" from the top Hangouts menu.

Now I can make Navi say one of her things at random when I get a message, (Hey, Listen!) Exactly what I searched for. Also thank you for not needing the internet permission with all the accessibility things, an extra plus!

I saw that you cant link a whole playlist . It only takes the ones that have been added as alarm tones. The only solution is to add all one by one which is rather impractical. Fix and get a 5 star review coz the app has truly clean UI and not much else to criticize

I must've dug through the whole app store looking for something that worked. At least I wound up finding it in the end.

Works great with no problems on my Galaxy s3, well designed, very functional, great with notifications and alarms too!

Could you add the ability to preview your ringtones or such with either a play button or just clicking the name would play it and stop playing it. That would be very useful for the people that download a lot of tones. Also. What folder does this scan for tones just the system - ringtones folder?

Works exactly the way it should on the S4. I can also keep my single sms tone, letting the app randomize tones for email and ect. I will be donating in the future. Thank you so much dev.

After 3 or 4 apps, finally one that works! (Galaxy s3 mini, 4.1.2) though I only tried notifications. I had a problem where TTS went on and I couldn't get rid of it, but finally got rid of it by turning off google and samsung tts in aplication manager. I believe it's something on samsung's end. Also, love to see devs answering posts and keeping in touch with the users. Keep up the great work!

I used to have an app that did this same thing but it stopped working quite a long time ago. I've been waiting for a long time for someone else to make an app that really works. Great job, love it!

Just picked up the donate version, but this free version worked just fine as well. An app this clean and functional deserves more attention. The only suggestion I can muster is to make the donate version an addon of sorts instead of a separate, duplicate app. I had to set up my sounds again after installing the donate version, but that's a minor inconvenience compared to rotating my alarms, ringtones, and notifications manually.

Why do you think I would give a ringtone app access to my personal info?
