I like it, but if I have it charging for a long time am afraid it might leave a burn't mark on my screen because my screen has Amoled display screen not a LCD screen maybe a screen saver will do.

I like the sheer simplicity of this app but I would like to know why it needs my phone number. I ask because 'Telephone' is a required permission.

Liked the idea overall but i can't use it even it is good because of the issue. The app doesn't come over lockscreen when i awake the phone while charging. i have to unlock to see the charging status of the app. Why i would do that?

It's a great app actually. But the problem is that with AMOLED displays, there's burn-in. You dont want this app being displayed for a while, because then it'll burn in to your display and stay there forever.
