Ultimate Photo Widget

I love this app, but it takes up so much space on my beloved tablet that I have reluctantly uninstalled it on the recommendation of the Samsung rep where I bought it from. Freed up over 3gb! No other app I have comes close. However I so miss pics of my loved ones greeting my home screen.

I've been using this widget on multiple home screens for years. I've always used it with my Picasa account and loved the ability to view photos randomly from all albums or select individual albums. This is fast, simple, and stable. Now that Picasa is going away I'm THRILLED to see Flickr support is coming soon! Thank you! I have already moved my albums to Flickr and can't find a single other widget like this for Flickr.

I love it, and enjoy selecting new photos for the folder I have assigned to it.

I love this widget for showing random pics from my google photos but am dissatisfied that I can't control how large the photo cache is. I ran out of space because of this app, 2 gb is insane :-(

It consumes memory without releasing it, and after a week killed my tablet. Had to uninstall. (Was using Google Photos) Seemed to keep showing similar photos even though I have hundreds in Google Photos...

If there was a way to remove the icon from your app drawer

This is the best Photo Frame Widget I have seen. I am giving 4-Stars because this app cannot recursively display photos from sub-directories.

Works better than the built-in widget and has more options, but limiting me to a single folderof photos rather than recursing through subfolders needs to be added.

Still some issues being worked out, but I wanted to upgrade the earlier review simply because of the developer's responsiveness and doggedness in refining this app. Shortly after my earlier review, I received an email from Innodroid--the developer fixed one issue within hours, and has kept me in the loop regarding further refinements. Refreshingly unexpected and absolutely top-notch customer service. I anticipate this app will be perfected before long, and would recommend it.

Not worth $1.90. App displayed constant error messages and has a pretty clunky interface.

Excellent app. Exactly what I needed. Re-sizable in honeycomb 3.1. Developer corrected issues within hours. Updated to 5 stars!

I have been looking for a widget to view pictures for a while. I would have thought that the built in one would do this but it doesn't. Good job!

This is the only sideshow widget that I've found that shows images in a decent quality HOWEVER it displays all my photos rotated 90° . Is there a fix for this????

When i open Picasa album photo from widget it doesn't allow me to go to next/prev photo in album. Really dissapointing :-(

Displays some photos 90 degrees rotated depending on aspect ratio.

Cons: 1) Doesn't go full screen on my phone. 2) Crashes when selecting Picasa Web Albums 3) Randomly shows ERROR on screen instead of a picture. 4) Doesn't allow turning off of image rotation. 5) Isn't free. One star

Perfect for personalising my phone

So much promise! Won't resize pictures and will only display certain formatted pictures (and even then it's random) . Shame!!

Wauw, I've been looking for a photo frame app like this for ages! This app is great, I only have one problem: it doesn't load when I restart :/ Is it a bug or just my tablet?

Downloaded, added to my home screen as directed, and nothing. What a waste!

I've been looking for a decent photo widget for awhile. After some updates frak'ed my previous widget(APW), I found this one. Very straight forward, everything works as it should. Couple additions could make it perfect: an "include sub directories" option for your photo sources would be great when you choose images from a directory. Also, a not so large and in-charge popup when you tap on the current photo to open/next/freeze. Other than that, this thing is all 5-stars in my book.. Would recommend to everyone.

Exactly what I was after. If I could suggest a change then a selection of intervals between 30s and 10 mins and an option to when touching the displayed image it flips to another rather than display the settings.

This is almost exactly what I want except you can't go to the next slide (or previous) without going to a pop-up menu and hitting a button "show next picture" without even being able to see the picture. Would be 5 star if you could just swipe through the pics.

Can't choose just 1 image without assigning its own folder. Refund please!

I am using it along with UCCW widgets and deeply impressed. Like some one said here I would like to see the margins go off so that the picture is edge to edge without gap. Also tell us the image width and height for each size so that we can upload of that size to avoid cropping effect. I will increase to 5 star once the margin width goes off.

The update made the widget smaller. :( what I loved about this widget was that with apex/nova I could set launcher width margins to 0 and the widget would go from edge to edge. After the update there is now a gap. :( not cool. Now I can't revert the update.

Worked well on all versions of Android from 3.0 to 4.0.4 on Motorola Xoom. Resizes and scales images really nicely. So far it lacks only one function - a possibility to crop an image before putting it on the screen (the way old Android stock picture widget did).

Almost perfect. Add sequential as well as random image selection to be a 5 star App. Great image quality even on hd screen with my galaxy note

It would get 5 stars from me if it resized the photos to fit in the frames. Otherwise, I think it's fabulous!

I'm using this widget with a AOKP Rom on my Galaxy S3. So far this is the best picture frame widget I've tried. I wanted something that duplicated the stock touchwiz picture frame and it was hard to find one that matched the quality. This one matches it and may be a little better. I only wish I could set the interval at which the picture changes to lower than 30 seconds. That may affect performance but it seems like the s3 could handle it, maybe not other phones.
