Honeycomb Launcher

I think I would really love this launcher. Unfortunately, it doesn't work properly on my devices. First, it doesn't seem to register itself as a launcher. In other words, it's treated like any other app and thus I cannot set it as my default launcher. Second, I cannot open the main screen of the launcher at all. I see it the first time I open it (after a fresh install), but subsequent visits to the app take me directly to an edit menu, and if I try to back out of it, I don't see the main screen...because, again, it isn't acting like a launcher. I will update this review if these issues are sorted out. I really do think I'd love this app if it worked for me.

I'm using Nova launcher home and PIN genie locker, and unfortunately, it seems both of them or just Nova Launcher, prevents the Honey Comb little corner menu from appearing. The corner menu pop up or whatever, won't appear unless i resort to uninstalling Nova Launcher and at the moment, i prefer not to. Overall, rest of it works except that, so it's still very nice. Just not compatible with some apps at the moment.

My Note 5 upgraded to Marshmallow; now my Honeycomb Launcher is only available on my locked screen.. I've check my settings, & have even Uninstalled/Reinstalled it but still nothing, only available on my locked screen.. Can You Fix This Please? Cuz I'd love to change my rate to a 5 star again.. But I just can't till it works properly..

Initially, it does exactly what it says. However, I later found that it only worked when the app was open and if I opened the app, it brought me to customization menu. If I hit the back button, it brought me to my normal home screen without the honeycomb organization. Only if I went into themes and hit "apply" did it bring me to the honeycomb configuration. Then, if I opened any other app and hit the home button, I came right back to my normal home page without the honeycomb. All in all, disappointing.

But! This thing just vanishes. There is no bubble if i modify any setting it reverts back to default? Cant use it if the bubble is not showing. Please fix it. Also allow for custom background and more toggles! Thankyou

I had this on my Galaxy S3 and I loved it. I found it very useful and it was one of the only launcher applications I planned on keeping indefinitely. I had to buy a new handset and found it does not work at all on the Samsung J7. After downloading it goes through the motions of setting up, but then the floating icon disappears permanently rendering the application useless. I've downloaded it several times, attempted troubleshooting, and I've restarted my device dozens of times. I also tried to change the settings because I thought it may be something I was doing; it was not. It apparently is simpy not compatible with some smartphones.

Am I missing something, or is this not a full launcher? Just accessible by clicking the tab when the phone is in lock mode? It doesn't actually replace the original OS, which I absolutely hate. It's just a tab in the corner? It would be a great launcher if it actually replaced the original OS. So, did I miss some setting or something?

More App or Comb space? customization would be nice like making the comb size smaller so I can add more apps or contacts ? 5 star for that major change

I just installed Honeycomb Launcher, and I like it's organisation schematic, the honeycomb. What's not to like? I didn't like being pestered to write a 5 Star review. And I'm not sure that I like the fact that the app can make phone calls or kill background processes. The design is cool!

Ok so it's a screen overlay, which is dandy. However, I have WP8 launcher and it doesn't work. I do have it on my old phone and it works fine. So that's why I added a star, because it works for the people who just use the basic settings

It's a pretty great idea, from great thinkers of our generation. This app has actually solved my problem and must surely solve for deters too. Great job by all standards

It behaves exactly like an app with screen over permissions. Useful as a quick link but for the fact you have to find and then tap one the app icon like any other app. It's floating function does work when the screen is locked. DEVICE: NEW SAMSUNG NOTE 7. May revisit when this is a true launcher.

Abandoned app. Not updated since June 9th, 2015. Doesn't fly work with Nougat. This app is making itself obsolete by way of unusable. Honestly, I'd easily give it 5 stars if there was an all apps option to show a scrolled all apps list, and of course, worked on Nougat reliably.

I used to use this app. I like it .it is really great. But. After updates to android 5 it doesn't work. There is no icon in the corner. Can you fix this bug,bitte? Nbdy answered me so less stars and uninstall

One tiny thing, when the floating icon sits right on the side of the screen when in an app, it can be very difficult to tap on when you have a bulkier case. Other than that, this app is fantastic.

App has a nice interface but is by no means a launcher as it states. It also seems to be missing the ability to rearrange the honeycombs as it says is possible and is missing the central honeycomb on the lock screen that screenshots display.

Can't set as default launcher therefore can't use. So pretty much useless app. LG G4. of course I just figured it out. Ignore the first part of the review. I'm just leaving it so everyone can see how stupid this fellow is.

Hive launcher sits nicely on your screen wherever you'd like it and allows you to open up a screen with quick access to contacts, apps or settings. It is an excellent app which has certainly made my interface better, and easier to use. However, after updating up Android 5.1.1 it disappears after I unlock my phone (only appears on my lock screen ) so I'm waiting for an update to fix that.

I was expecting this to be a full launcher like others I have tried. .this can't be your default home launcher. However, it had become invaluable to me as a quick "start menu" where I can reach my most- used apps or contacts more easily, even on top of other apps.. Rather than having to go to my home screen and wait for my current app to close, and hike screen to load. . Great time saver! Not to mention the awesome graphics. . A few more themes would be nice though :)

I am a chronic multitasker. This app is helpful at navigating between apps, msgs, Internet or anything else. You see all your most used items all on one screen. I'm still trying to decide how to work the split screen features on my S6 active. In the meantime this app is very helful

Sometimes, it's stuck either as a floating button or as a side button no matter which app you launch. Opening the launcher screen and closing it back temporarily solves the issue but only temporarily. This is a great looking and potentially very useful app but it needs to be much more reliable in order for it to feel like a must have.

Although a flashlight toggle would be good and also a visual effect for when I press an application. It just suddenly disappears, unlike if I press back, the apps and such dissapear one by one. Use the same effect for both. Also on lollipop, the color theme doesn't extend to the status bar so it looks a little odd with the colored status bar from other apps. But other than those, the app is fast and does what is supposed to.

please make it a default launcher. so that everything comes on the screen in the form of hive.... we need to only touch n play things within 3 seconds...... please make it nice... it can become a very nice app...... and also u haven't viven the toggle for torch light.. its missing ... please add it

Looks beautiful but limiting. I can't swipe to see other home screens. Can't make it default, so Samsung Home Touchwiz is always visible and the number of apps to add to the honeycomb is limited. I'd prefer this as my default launcher but...needs work. Therefore I must uninstall.

How to set it as Default Launcher? Would give Five Stars if you add 1. All Apps Button 2. Booster 3. Recent Tasks.. Taken out one star as no Response on my concerns in more than ten months. :-( Now my Virus Scanner warns that this application possibly has Adware Virus hidden in it.

Awesome app. Makes up a bit for Samsings shortfall in the GS5. Would have give 5 stars if I could resize the honeycomb. The direct dial is probably the most important feature for me but I have to squint to make sure I'm not hitting the wrong contact. If u have an upgrade, would you consider this? O forgot to mention, thanks for not killing it with ads

This was a really very good launcher. But now, since Android 6.0, it doesn't appear on the home screen, so it is unusable. I am not the only user that has informed of this. If it gets fixed, I can give it 5 stars, but it's ludicrous that a launcher can't be launched !

I'd easily give you 5 stars if you added an all apps option to show a scrolled all apps list. Possibly a minor thing for an easy 5 stars. But it hasn't been updated in ~9 months

I really like the design and function of this app. Clean, simple, and stylish. However, sometimes it doesn't quickly appear after coming out of an app, or when unlocking the phone. This is with a Samsung Galaxy S4, and I've seen other Samsung users with this as well. Other than that, its great, and I keep using it!

I thought this would be a launcher, but it's still great. I did really do everything in 3 seconds, lol. Hope you make more apps. Oh, and this app is like those swipe apps, but its more original. Great job. ;)

Editing the position of shortcuts could be better and it'd be awesome if you could choose your own image as a background. The pop up for call or text when tapping on contact shortcuts is a bit too small. Some minor improvements and this is a 5

I love this app, very smart idea

Does not work after I hit the home button. It goes back to my original launcher. All other new launchers I have tried works fine. I was hoping this would work because its extremely simple and I like that.

I am confused is this a launcher or part time slacker. What a great idea but someone forgot to put an end to the plot

Just installed it and still playing around with it but so far really love the concept! Ok I am back have been messing with a while and ran up on a problem and that is that I cannot set Honeycomb as default Launcher it does not even show up as one of the options please help so I can keep my 5 stars on this launcher!

Very beautiful. Not quite aggressive enough. The toggle gets turned off /disappears from some home screens. I'd like it accessible from everywhere, all the time

Looks awesome. Hamstrung functionality. Only shows up on lock screen (doesn't draw over apps). Must also unlock to complete any launch. Nexus 5 with Android 6. Suggestion: register as an "assist app" so this can replace the google now launcher.

Works on lock screen, which I don't use, but will not work on home screen. No honeycomb floating button at all on home screen. Worked great, and loved it on my old phone, but unusable on my Z5. Android version 6. I'll try again in the future.
