Photo Gallery and Screensaver

Love this app and spend ages looking at all the old photos what come up from Google Photos.

The gallery is simple and clean and it works. Also, bonus: the creator(s?) is (are?) very responsive.

Excellent screensaver! I am trying to figure out why some of my albums are not available. Has me baffled. EDIT: Figured it out. SHARED albums will not appear in the list. When you create an album, create a regular one, NOT SHARED

Hi ... I have purchase and gallery and screen saver and follow the steps provided but not able to run screen saver from App or Daydream in Sony Android TV. It keeps showing default wallpaper. I am able to login my facebook account through app and SYNC albums and select them in source but still there is a issue.

Incredible app - simple in nature but does it perfectly! The App is loaded onto my AndroidTV and it works brilliantly as a photo gallery browser, and also as a screensaver - screensaver is even better than the default Chromecast one, with plenty of options available! Even better, I emailed the dev suggesting an additional feature (to have only selected album(s) used for the screensaver), and not only did he add the feature almost immediately, he even sent me an nice email to say so! Simply the best, most perfect, "does what it should" app I've ever come across - gladly paid the bargain "buy" prices to unlock the full features!

I just bought the gallery option and its excellent on my mi box. There is one request you might need to take a public opinion though. 1. When I play videos the navigation bar is not accessible(maybe my mi remote problem), 2. That Blue bar is huge and ugly, can you make it transparent and minimal, you can check apple tv, youtube webpage or kodi something as an example for that minimal interface. Excellent job on keeping it clean and minimal in all the other areas.

I really needed Google Photos app form my Android TV. The only thing that I do not like is that when I browse my gallery in full screen I have this gradient overlay over my photos. It's a gray transparent overlay staring from bottom ending in the middle of the screen. I could not find an option to remove it.

Great stuff, thanks a lot. If you can add autoplay for videos from Google Photos then that would be highly appreciated (not just by me, me thinks). Again thanks for the hard work and happy new year. :)

LOVE this app. I was sick of seeing the same stock photos on my screensaver/daydream session. Now I have beautiful photos from 500px displayed. Thank you thank you thank you!! The ONLY thing is if someone wants to see their own 500px photos, I didn't see a way to do that. It just scrapes the Discover feed. But that's what I wanted, so I'm super happy with it.

Honestly this app fills in the gap that Google should have never left. I almost immediately paid for unlimited access to all my photos. This app works fantastic... ...by itself. However, I regularly encounter a problem where I'm playing Pandora and start the screensaver - after about a song, the music will completely cut off and not come back. The screensaver slideshow still displays, but I'm thinking that it and Pandora are running into resource problems? I'm not sure but it seriously needs to be fixed. (Nexus Player, btw) As far as suggestions go, I would love to see a pan/zoom option for the screensaver, and maybe an option to alternate the display of information (photo date, album name, etc) so that it's not stagnant in the bottom right of the screen.

A must-have leanback gallery for Android TV. Great work! Please add SMB support and 2-3 step zoom. Thanks!

Fantastic app!! That missing photo library based screensaver from your Android TV? This is it. Many features, many possible photo sources, reliable and quick, with fast responses to feedback. Highly recommended.

Won't allow signing into your Flickr account if you're using a bluetooth attached keyboard on the Nexus Player. You have to use the Nexus remote instead. UPDATE: The App now works with a Bluetooth Keyboard for setup, as the developer indicates in the reply below

I was missing this feature so much in my Android TV. It works perfect. Also good support, I had an issue with albums and the developer solved it in less than 24 hours.

Must HAVE app if you have an Android TV :) It's just stunning !

Ever install an app and think, wow, this one is too good to last? This is one of the few Android apps that feels completely polished and finished upon initial release and configuration. Hats off to the developers.

Best we got! As noted, it doesn't show albums that other people have write access to, but despite that, this is perfect for what we need our Android TV to do, to use our TV as a large digital picture frame. Works great on the NVIDIA SHIELD TV, but I wish we had backdrop capability built into it, like on a real Chromecast

Works perfectly, looks beautiful, and is easy to set up and very customisable. Developers are awesome - I suggested a feature and they implemented it in the next update.

Great app for displaying your photos as a Daydream on your Android TV device where usually you can only have stock photos displayed, unless you have the Chromecast dongle. Found a bug with portrait Flickr photos which I reported and it got fixed and an update was released very quickly. Awesome customer support, thank you!

This app is rubbish. It claims to show Google Photos albums, yet upon adding the account, no google photos show. I have 2 Albums available on Google Photos, they don't show in app. I have tried all sorts of things, permissions, clear cache, restart, uninstall/reinstall. Nothing works. I want a refund!
