Tony Coles is an Australian artist based on the Sunshine Coast, Queensland.

The inspiration for his work is derived from direct observation of his surroundings and life. His work makes the communication and feelings its axis. He is interested in painting the synthesis of elemental weights, space, air, and volume with emphasis given to these through the use of a full-bodied Australian light.

Tony's work has won awards and appeared in exhibitions around Australia. He also does paintings on a commission basis and provides private art tuition.
