MyProfiles (Profile Manager)

I used Llama for a long time, but on Android 6 it did not work very well. So I searched for an alternative cell based location automation app. This app is the only real alternative I found. Easy to use, fair testing options and it simply works. The only room for improvement I identified: logical combinations of conditions not supported. You can only combine a condition with a time constraint. A switch from 2g to 3g is also missing. Update :switching to airplane mode is also with root not always working. Works about 50% of all times.

I was not happy to see HTC U11 did not have a profile manager. HTC made imate 5 had an excellent one. Later found AGeye for Windows Mobile when I got Sony Ericsson Experia 1 and SE Aspen. Now on HTC U11 I sorely missed them. Every morning at office had to turn the phone to Vibrate mode. At times miss to revert in the evening and miss calls. but MyProfiles brings back those features of AGeye. Great app. The lite version itself is quite good. I plan to upgrade to Pro.

I tested various profile apps but kept coming back to this one. However, I found that if the Enable Priority was not checked, the Rules did not run. After checking it on all my Rules, it now works perfectly. Maybe you could have that checked as a default setting. Not sure if it happens just for my phone though, I'm on the Redmi 3S (stock)

3 because of an annoying problem: for driving profile i marked the "autospeaker" property on so for every call the speaker is automatically on. for "normal" profile i un-marked "autospeaker". but after using "driving" profile the every call goes through the speaker and i need to turn it off manually. only restart undo the autospeaker but using "driving" again turns it on permanently until next restart. very annoying. please correct and get 5 stars.

I would give this app 5 stars if I could figure out how to disable "vibrate" for notifications. I created a sleep profile and the only sound I want it to make would be for a phone call. I can silence my alerts for text, email, etc, but the phone still vibrates.

This app does exactly what I need - manage sounds and network (wifi/bluetooth) by time of and day of week. No interruptions as profiles change and gets it right everytime. This is the best profile manager available.

Great app, loved it so far. But it stopped working recently after the last update. Profile doesn't change even after 15 minutes of going outside the location i had set.

Not working for OPPO colors a d redmi .. very inconsistent ring and notification volume changes. Bad in switch

I have two silent profiles with priority mode but they only worked when I made them independent. It worked great for one month but now it has stopped working, it doesn't switch profile automatically. Using on oneplus 5

I have a time based rule to switch profiles. But, it does not trigger sometimes at the specific time. It may delay for some minutes or even more until I turn on the screen.

This app is full of features but it is not stable on Mate 8 and profile does not change auto this why I give 3 stars only.

Well designed UI that is easy to use. It is lacking in flexibility due to its simplicity. It only allows one condition in a rule to activate a profile.

The sound level goes beyond the speaker's capacity even at 80%. Waste app.

...though not yet exactly an ideal one. Works great, at least for (quite) some time, after which it becomes quirky and requires reinstall. What still remains to be wished for is the ability to accept multiple conditions linked by logical operators (AND, OR, NOT). Here's a five-star rating, so keep up the good work and please, make the above happen.

I using Android 5.1.1 on a Galaxy S5 and My Profiles does not detect when I start an app as a trigger to set a profile. My Profiles is not listed in the services at the Accessibility menu settings, I think you need to add that access to your app. Other than that... it is absolutely great!

Good app, I wanted to automate the switch to airplane mode at night to reduce power consumption. On my old phone (Lenovo A850 / Android 4.1.2) a system application was providing this feature but my new phone (Cubot H1) running on Lollipop 5.1 doesn't have such app natively. Once I have been able to root my device (because latest versions of Android don't allow apps to manipulate airplane mode and data, what a shame), the app works as I want. I would just like to receive a confirmation notification with automatic confirmation if no action, so that if I am doing something (receiving a call, browsing or playing a game that requires network access), I can decide to not activate the profile that is scheduled to be applied.

This is the best Profile manager I had ever used. Absolutely to the point. The rules creation form is brilliant. Not very user friendly, but I guess you cannot workaround the many rules we create without having some expertise within ourselves. I am buying this. Thanks and keep improving it.

At first its good, then it quits switching. ...,............ Well per Lab01 Inc's suggestion I installed it again with a supposed updated fix, but after two months it slowly started started not switching again. Now after three months it does not switch between profiles, still!!! And since I only have the choice of location to choose from, I can't try a different switch. I like this app, to bad it only lasts 2.5 months. samsung galaxy rocket s2 OS4.1.2

This was my favorite to automatically turn on/off volumes during night and day. But the recent update has rendered this app completely broken! Sad! :(

I used to use Llama app and finally found a substitute! So far, cell location is working fine for me. There are little bugs on the interface, but the app deserves 5 star. Hopefully one day it will be possible to disable lock screen temporarily.

First I gave it 4 stars because it seemed to eork but the dev does not reply to emails. Now I found out that the schedule does not work when the phone is locked. Only when you look at it, it changes schedule. I'm glad I did not buy it. Un-installing now.

I've been using Setting Profiles for years, but they quit updating in 2012 and it doesn't work reliably. I'm looking forward to the future update for multiple conditions. Then it will be a true replacement.

I just downloaded the app to see how well it works. It seems fine so far except the location profile does not change. I'm at work and I set it as work and created profile to change while at work turned it on and no change. I will invest in the pro if this gets fixed.

When I bought my 1st Android phone 6 years ago, I sold it immediately, as I couldn't get familiar with the Sound Settings (Silent, Vibration, ... ) Later, this App made my life easier, and of course Android! Many thanks!

Good app and as said in the title "can't live without it". I just whish the airplane and gps toggles were available whitout root permission but I guess it's not that simple

This was exactly what I needed. I don't have to worry about interruption at work anymore because now my volumes and screen rez adjust automatically during those hours.

Gr8 app but offline disables all including data, but then data kicks back in. Uninstalled and tried again but still the same.

great app, ran flawlessly for the longest time, but when i moved i discovered i can no longer use gps to define a location ie my house. location by cell tower is much less effective, as i frequent a number of places that identify as "home" because they share a cell tower with my home. fix and we're back to five stars. vzw s6edge marshmallow

Half the time it wont activate the profile defined for a given event/location. Since thats why this app exists, its pretty useless. Why would i ever pay for something that doesnt do its job?

Only issue I have is when changing from 0% ring volume to any other value, the phone beeps at the new volume value (same as if you manually change the volume). Samsung Galaxy S7 (Android 6). Never did it on my S4 (Android 4 & 5). Also sliders foe volume mean you get set increments, so min volume I can set is 6%.

Great Application... But it would be better if there is a seperate option for showing "Title bar icon only" under 'Notification Icon' option. Hope it'll be added soon.... When was the Next update......??!

Love the program. Works great, simple to use. I've been using it since my first smart phone about 5 years ago.

I installed this app today and its more than I could've hoped for. Keep up the good work. And I definitely will be purchasing the pro version.

Just looking at moving from Profile Schedule to this, but it could do with being able to add multiple conditions - e.g. I only want to enable the sleep profile on a schedule when I'm at home, I don't want it switching to that when I'm still out... But needs to be able to add any type of additional conditions... I'd happily pay for the pro version if that was a feature... Also, I'd like an option to disable the popup/gleam notifications when the profile changes...
