Live Wallpaper Daydream for Android
This only works if you don't activate your lock screen. I'd take security over a pretty screen saver any day!
I've used this on my S4 and now my Nexus 5X and it works great. Just waiting on a USB a to c so I can root and install a mod to hide the on screen nav buttons and it will be perfect (stock daydream doesn't hide them, nothing dev can do about that I don't think)
What if instead of using the current live wallpaper the app could display any live wallpaper installed on the device. Think about this and update the app.
Not bad. I can use my current LWP as my DayDream. I like it. Only option I'd add is to have a clock or the time show as well. It's the only option I'd add IMO. Aside from this not bad at all
For lg g5 it doesn't work so maybe put that in the discription
I can't select any live wallpaper that I have installed. It just uses what you already have running as your live wallpaper. When I can select from a list of all my live wallpaper with setting for them ill return with a higher star rating.
I can do what this app does without this app. Pointless uninstalled
Exactly what I was looking for and works without issue.
If you allow choosing a wallpaper that you're not currently using, 5 stars.
Does exactly what it says. One improvement i'd like to see is the ability to interact with the LWP still (with swipes and taps). It would combine with KLWP nicely then.
Runs well on both Lollipop HTC One M8 and LG tablet. NOTE TO THOSE WHO WISH TO USE A DIFFERENT WALLPAPER AS DAYDREAM: Google programmed Android to only allow the current live wallpaper to be set as Daydream. Developers must work within the limitations set by Google, and they cannot change Android code to enable different lwps to run on the home and lock screens. So please DO NOT rate this app down because you want the dev to make changes that Google will not allow. Thank you very much to the developer!
Can not use stock or downloaded live wallpapers. Has to be paid and is very select
Lovely live wallpapers, but in order to have it set as daydream it also has to be set as the live wallpaper. Daydream will be whatever your wallpaper is. Selecting lifeblood, or dna and hitting start daydream does nothing. The square box live wallpaper works as daydream for 4 seconds and blacks out. Setting lifeblood or dna as the active wallpaper means daydream works fine, but I don't want live wallpaper, only daydream. Any fix? Oppo Find 7, NamelessROM n3, android 6.
This does exactly what it tells you it will: it displays your CURRENT wallpaper ONLY as you dreamscape - whether your wallpaper is live or just a static, 2-d image. Unfortunately you CANNOT use a DIFFERENT live (or static) wallpaper than what is set as your desktop/homescreen wallpaper. This is a big downer in my opinion since i would prefer to use ANY homescreen lwp/wp on my phone but want to keep only one lwp as my daydream! Hopefully this will be fixed - or i will to find another daydream app that can.
it is the coolest and you know it, so get your download on to this awesome "dream" app. thanks to all who helped make and think of such an incredible app.
Google Nexus 4 - Runs after picture tube animation. The concern is that when you return from daydream, it does not prompt for your pin, pattern, or face like the original Daydreams do. Fix this for 4 stars and add selection for which live paper to use for 5 stars.

After docking, display blacks out after a several time and when I want to unlock my phone and I swipe with my finger, then the daydream appears... Please fix it so I can give you 5 stars. Nexus 4 - Android 4.4.2
It's nice, but I'd really love it if I could pick a different "daydream wallpaper" than the homescreen wallpaper... Still, definitely useful, certainly unique so far, and I like it.
This is the app I've been waiting for. Finally all my wonderful LWPs can also be my daydreams. I'm really happy :)
You can get right back into my phone without having to use a password, etc. Plese fix and I'll give 5 stars. Thnx! Galaxy S5, Galaxy Note Pro tablet.

Does not go to lock screen like other daydreams and also shows up in recent apps. Could fix it for root users
I like it u change the theame by changing your background. So you have hundreds of choices

My HTC one suffers from slow charging and gets very hot when using this daydream app.. it also crashes when you try and go into settings
The phone goes to sleep as normal instead of going to daydream. Only after I wake the phone and unlock it does it show the live wallpaper as a daydream. EDIT: It's HTC's lockscreen that's at fault. If you're rooted and you switch to the stock lockscreen the live wallpaper WILL show up after the phone goes to sleep.
I haven't had a problem with it. Great on my Nexus 7. It simply adds an option in the daydream settings to use live wallpaper for your daydream. That's it. Simple yet effective.
Works pretty well, gets the current live wallpaper as a daydream, but in devices without physical buttons ( like Galaxy Nexus ), it doesn't use the complete screen as others daydreams.
It only works after you enter your password at the lock screen, which means that it doesn't work. Using the Paperland Pro Live Wallpaper, although it doesn't seem to be limited to it (the Asus ones, ditto). Would give 5 stars if I could actually use it.
Effectively keeps my live resource monitor running while plugged in.
The app work just fine, but the daydream mode doesnt run on fullscreen.. All the virtual buttons still shows when the daydream mode runs
I'd like to be able to not be limited to active wallpaper though..
A solid idea, it would be nice to see some additional controls to suppress backlight in darker rooms and a clock function would get that top rating from me.
Just discovered daydreams. I like this app, but two things I noticed that weren't quite as nice as the 4.2 daydreams. 1) The transition into the daydream only happens after the blink. (The animation provided by android that looks like you're turning an old tube TV off). The other daydreams fade in with no blink. 2) Exiting the daydream is more diffcult. On the 4.2 daydreams, I can move my bluetooth mouse and the screen wakes. If touch to wake is disabled, I can't wake with the mouse at all. *) IMHO touch to wake really should be an option that is on by default, since the built in daydreams work this way. I can understand why the option is there though, since lots of live wallpapers respond to touch.
Perfect fix if you want to use your live wallpaper as a screen saver in full screen and see nothing but the wall paper Perfect!
If you like daydream sand your wp, is what you Gotta have
This only uses the current Home Screen wallpaper. Would be nice to let us select a different one if we wanted.
It only uses your CURRENT wallpaper weather live or not.... Would be much better if you could pick ANY live wallpaper to use
