How to Install:

Widgets are an essential aspect of home screen customization. You can imagine them as "at-a-glance" views of an app's most important data and functionality that is accessible right from the user's home screen. This guide will show you ways to add a widget to Home screen on different Android versions.

1) How to add widget on Android version 2.x and below

Tap-hold empty space in Home screen until the menu appears. Alternatively, you can press the “Menu” button and then press the “Add” button that should now be available on the screen.
You should be able to see “Add to Home screen” pop-up window by now. Choose “Widgets”.
Scroll through the list to find General Election Countdown. Click it and widget will be added to Home screen.
Tap-hold then drag the widget icon to relocate it if needed.

2) How to add widget on Android version 3.x(Honeycomb)

Go to Home screen where you want to add the widget.
Click "+" button at top-right of the screen. Alternatively, tap-hold any empty area of the screen.
In the menu that opens, choose "Widgets" tab.
Scroll through the list to find General Election Countdown. Tap-hold and drag it to Home Screen.

3) How to add widget on Android version 4.x and above

Go to Home screen, click "All Apps" icon at the center of "Favorites" tray.
Choose "Widgets" tab and find General Election Countdown.
Tap-hold then drag widget to Home screen.
