Although it does have advertisements, they are only visible at the configuration stage. For a nice clean simple indicator of the time, I don't think you can beat this little widget. The option to open settings from tapping the widget does not work, but that is only an inconvenience and not a deal breaker.

Tiny. Not for tablets. Date colour only stays set for a few seconds before reverting to black.

It's a simple function. Place a clock widget on the homescreen. It does that well. Only shortcoming is its inability to refresh the date below the clock. I need to manually refresh the date daily. I'm not using any task killers nor app optimizers. Otherwise it'll be 5

The widget would only go on my home screen as an icon. Never was able to get it to work at all on my Galaxy 7 active.

The 1x1 version seems to leave room for date, even if date is dsabled. It can be much larger.
